“Tried to make a claim jan 2024, wont cover the cost of repairs as they do need to have the faults to cover the claim first which is reasonable, the problem is the car cant communicate well with obd scanners. even took the car to the dealership but even their scanners cant find the fault. to cut the story short after 6 months, managed to get the fault codes but to my surprise they are still not happy to support our claim as according to them it has been 6 months now since the first claim was submitted. It just feels like they dont want to support our claim at all. Cant provide the fault codes, cant claim. now i do have the fault code still wont support my claim.”

“Be aware of this company. Just had an issue with the car bought less than 2 weeks ago. The issue is with the head gasket and when called the company they said "if the issue is due to wear and tear or erosion they do not cover". So, a completely waste of money for a warranty for used cars if they use this excuse! Can someone give any other reason for a new gasket to be required?”
“I wish i had done more research on this company before wasting hundreds of pounds. Scam. Paid for the higher level cover and the first issue i needed to claim for they refused to accept it was covered despite the policy clearly stating it was. The second issue i was given a list of approved garages to take the car to but it was so out of date that all of the garages have been closed down or moved premises/changed dealers many years ago. They said i could use a garage of my choice, but i have yet to find a local garage who will have anything to do with momentum as all have been burned in the past and all refuse to deal with them. Im now out of pocket with a "warranty" thats not worth the paper its written on. Dont bother!”
“Well well where do I start a total shambles avoid taking warranty out with this shower at all cost total scam and rip off my fuel pump went on my Mercedes hybrid and it’s still parked up at my house broke down over a thousand pounds worth of costs to fix but say they won’t pay out sent photos and invoices of repair costs but want videos and pics is a mechanics word not good enough then with the proof send they also say it’s wear and tare on the car what’s the point in taken out a warranty then 😂 me and my partner have had many conversations with them but still no joy it’s like trying to get blood out of a stone but it’s not ending here that’s for sure folks look at the bad reviews and please avoid at all costs !”

“Avoid like the plague. Can somehow diagnose faults from an office and can actually give a time and date of the fault without inspecting the car. Probably the worst company I have encountered in a very long time. Customer service appalling. Warranty limited only £500 and labour £40 an hour.”
“Had the car just over a week and the rear breaks have locked up, glowing hot and turned the disc purple. Phoned up momentum and they say it's wear and tear and refused to help. Not worth the paper it's written on. I was going to extend my warranty with them when I got they're letter through the door. Not now totally waist of time.”

Refused the claim “wear and tear” had a report from qualified mechanic stating it was a sudden failure!
I don’t think anyone has had any repair covered under there warranty!”
“Scam! Don't use this company! I have there Gold Warranty. They refused all payout when you tried to claim. They will say your issues are ongoing and you did not get fixed immediately even though the car is serviced at main dealership and drives fine until the car starts to fault and you have it diagnosed at main dealer immediately. They will bounce you around from on person to another and dragged on until it's over the claim time limit then refused to cover the issue in future.”
