Shocking My Monzo business account has been locked out since Thursday. This is now Sunday. I have no money in any other accounts. My mortgage is outstanding. My shop rent. Internet about to be cut off and therefore will be out of contract again. It’s going to be a whole day of admin sorting things when it’s back up and I will be looking for compensation. My credit rating is likely to now be affected. Not to mention my appearances in contract with my landlord now paying late. This could affect my relationships there. They’ve taken 3 days to get back to an email even tho my partner has called everyday for a response. AND have not listened to the issue. I’m on holiday and borrowing money from a friend. It seems to be due to a technical error. I have two accounts, one personal and one business. The pin is locked because Monzo gets confused which is required. Then the video verification isn’t working. Apparently they don’t even see the request.

Been with monzo for over 3 years with no issue for travelling etc. the moment I had an issue with a suspected transaction they closed my account as suspicious fraud and now can no longer use them. Terrible customer service

Their customer service is abysmal and that is the nicest way I can describe them. It’s pathetic you cannot speak to a manager. They take 3-4 days to come back with a query. They freeze your bank account on “suspicious” behavior and then refuse to take calls. This is the worst case of customer service I have ever witnessed. It amounts to theft.

I was scammed into making payments totalling ~£1 500 for goods I thought my son had bought. I can't thank the Monzo Bank fraud team enough for helping me firstly recognise what was going on, and then refunding me in full less a £100 fee. They were very professional and knew what they were dealing with.

Totally poor customer service, I opened a dispute twice for same transaction and hey closed it without investigation and not even read details of dispute, completely untrained and uneducated customer service. L

I never thought I'd get my money back. After months of dead ends, I had lost hope of ever recovering the $86,000 I put into plutus' legacy. But now, I'm here to tell you that it is possible. I struggled to get a credit card even from my salary bank. Monzo offered me one and am happy now as it has an option to increase limit 2-fold in 3 months.

Hey there, let me tell you about my experience with SPECTRUM-CREST. I came across their website promising huge returns on investment and decided to give it a shot. But boy, was that a mistake! After depositing a significant amount of money into my account, I quickly realized that it was all a scam. The customer service was nonexistent, the trades they made on my behalf were losing money left and right, and when I tried to withdraw my funds, surprise surprise - they were nowhere to be found. I felt like such a fool for falling for their tricks. So please, learn from my mistake and steer clear of Spectrum-Crest at all costs. Don't let them scam you too!

When I attempted to submit a chargeback, I found that there was no appropriate option to title my submission. I raised a dispute with a title that seemed most relevant to my case. However, it appeared that my submission and attached documents were not reviewed, as I received a response denying my claim with no explanation. I subsequently initiated a dispute with customer service because I believe my case is eligible under the terms and conditions. Unfortunately, the representatives refused to explain why my claim was deemed ineligible, and they closed my submission as well as the chat without further assistance. I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received. This experience has caused me to seriously consider transferring my account to another bank. Their attitude towards customers is simply unacceptable!

Do not make Monzo your primary bank account. Use a high street bank due to the fact you can't talk to anyone. DO NOT MOVE your salary to their account.

Well, they cancelled the metal cards and replaced for the regular plastic one. I don’t mind it being made of plastic. However, having a sticker on the front but not on the back makes it look cheap. It’s the Max; we paid for it, so we deserve the best product. Should be both sides covered by the burst coral colour.

I have had a Mozo account about 6 weeks. I opened it to be able to transfer funds to Coinbase. Over the weekend just after Christmas an acquaintance transferred £1500 to my Monzo account from their Chase UK account. I went to upload it to my Coinbase exchange account and Monzo stopped the transfer and froze my account. No explanation was offered. I was asked what the money was being used for. As I don't believe in banks dictating what you do with money in your account and this isn't China, I told Monzo to F/O. They then spent a week harrassing me for information which I refused to give them, then decided they were going to close my account (something I told them I planned to do anyway after my balance had been transferred). Why does it take 2-4 weeks to transfer my balance when everybody knows transfers take seconds? I predict Monzo and any other bank that dictates to its customers, will go out of business. It's not surprising cryptocurrency is so popular.
