“I have purchased nearly all of my photography gear from MPB. I have never had an issue with any of the used products I have bought from them (2 different camera bodies, maybe a dozen lenses, filters, batteries, etc.). When I had a box that the carrier damaged, I let them know and they were more than willing to send me replacement items if what I ordered was damaged (it worked perfectly fine thanks to their careful packing). There’s always risk with second hand gear. MPB helps to mitigate that risk with excellent warranty offerings on most gear. I would rather pay the extra 10-20% to have a little more piece of mind that what I am buying is in working condition. I often find that the gear I have bought has been in better condition than they have stated! They are conservative with their grading and that makes for excellent value purchases.
