“The vanilla pods deserve 10 stars! They are very good. I will certainly order more. The chocolate ones I found messy. They fit the machine (Pixie) but they seem to spill out a little, I really don't know why. The taste is good if the instructions are followed exactly, but they only make a small drink. To get a mug full 2 pods are needed. I did try the mocha recipe, that was very good. Packing and delivery good.”

“Rich tasting coffee, the double shot is certainly a pick me up! After a few cups I begun to notice the coffee has a 'tannin' / wine notes, which is not unpleasant at all - coffee often has these flavours - but it is nonetheless quite distinctive and I'm not always in the mood for it. (Regular) hot chocolate disappointing, not very different from powder-made variety; so stick to the coffee, which I can certainly recommend (especially the double shot).”

“I wanted nespresso-compatible hot chocolate and these guys did them for a good price. While I was there, I ordered some new coffee as well. One stop shop at a keen price point for everything. Packaging was good and delivery was not slow but it was that period between Xmas & New Year so seemed to take forever!”

“Nice hot chocolate; good aromatico; the double shot is not as strong at expected - still, a grand morning coffee. (We drink all as americanos.) Overall, great value for money when compared with Hotel Hot Choc or Nespresso coffees and the quality, whilst not quite of the standard of the better (much more expensive) brands, is pleasing.”

“I liked the pods the 16 intensity coffee is quite nice and strong. The hot chocolate is also very good. My only criticisms would be I would like to know the type of bean used in the coffee. I like a strong coffee so maybe more variety would be good. My favourite high street coffee is the wild bean cappuccino at BP petrol stations. It is strong to smell and taste but has a smooth, creamy finish. I would really like something like that still retains the strength and smell once milk is added. I would rate your coffee as one of the best I have tried so far for my nespresso machine.”

To answer your question our intensity 16 Double Shot pod contains the freshly ground & roasted coffee beans sourced from the Brazilian rainforest - which are boosted with natural Guarana extract. “We did not receive our order but mugpods sent out another order without a fuss and this time we got it very quickly. Unfortunately, the hot chocolate pods were too sweet for our liking but if you like sweet drinks then these are for you. My husband enjoyed the coffee pods and says they're really good”

“The hot chocolate arrived quickly and works well with the Nespresso machine - the only criticism would be the chocolate is not very strong and I have to add chocolate powder”

Thank you for taking the time to review us and for your feedback on the hot chocolate. As the pods are quite small they can only contain a certain amount of cocoa, we suggest a small shot (about a third of a mug) and fill up with milk, the smaller the shot the stronger the flavour. For the large "bowl" type mugs you may even need to double up to get a really strong taste! We look forward to seeing you again.
