if you are thinking of getting something to treasure in your home go to DFS it will pay you as it seems we are a throw away nation,after spending £4000.00 on new sofa and chair and after less than a year the color had started to come off the the headrest and arms ,on asking at the store in Harrogate they said we will send an independent assessor,that was a lie stanguard ar tide in with multiyork. the assessor said the color is coming of because we sit on it and rest our head on the backrest,even Dynamo master magician could not sit without touching the leather y advice THINK AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our sofa took 6months to arrive, I thought DFS made bad Sofas but this is worse... we have had it less than a year and already it has lost its shape. The material pils and it’s very uncomfortable. I will never purchase another sofa from Multiyork and neither would I recommend. A very expensive mistake!!! Not sure that this complaint will make any difference as the customer service is worse than the sofa itself.

I would never recommend Multiyork to anyone. We have had the most awful experience- once you have ordered your sofa the service ends there. The company got our order wrong, and the sofas arrived and stank the house out with the smell of damp feathers. Over two years later the sofas still smell awful and nobody bothered to get back to us to deal with the problem- the director is simply not interested. I have never had such appalling service, from the staff at the shop, who messed up the order, to the after sales service ( which does not exist!). The only good thing about Multiyork were the delivery guys. The sofas cushions are limp, flat and they smell repulsive. Forget Multiyork- overpriced and a huge disappointment.

Spring cage broke after 7 years on a Tate Sofa. Homeserve came to do a repair in June 2017 but this left the sofa misshapen and the fitted covers no longer fit and seat covers now distorted after 3 months! Many complaints back to the store in Bath, they promised to get back to me and never did, when I eventually spoke to the now ex manager Simon he told me a pack of lies, two weeks later I phoned again today 4th October 2917 to be left, disgraceful and shambolic customer after care. Contacted head office today so hope they can sort something out.

Due to unqualified management at MultiYork (Lincoln store) = bad service and product quality leaves a lot to be desired.

The sofa got delivered on the wrong day and also the wooden floor got scratched and Muliyork have said that they will not help or legally obliged too with any discussions with the delivery company they use it's for me to sort

What a horrible shopping experience from the Shrewsbury branch of Multiyork. Ordered two large leather sofas and put down nearly a grand deposit. Had to wait ages for the sample, to discover they were trying to fob us off with sofas that were different to those ordered, very deceitful and underhand practice. Eventually got sofas delivered to the store to check out. Glad I did as they were the worse things I have seen. Poor leather, dodgy stitching and leather like Nora Battey's stockings. Wouldn't have this rubbish given to me for nothing. Still waiting over a week for a refund. Avoid like the plague!!!!!!!!!!

we had two seater from multiyork what a load of rubbish the cushion turns up at the end when you site on it we phoned up about it and was told nothing they can do would not go to there shop eney more

We have a dispute about the wear on the fabric and the marks showing after only a few months. We are getting the run around ( two visits by home guard ) and staingard have refered it to the insurance company who take up to 8 weeks to respond. This is why we would prefer to have our money back and you could have your sofa. Meanwhile it looks bad for all to see

We have been used to a good quality product from Multiyork over several years. We recently moved to a new home and required a larger sofa. Having moved from Cambridge to Devon we had to visit Exeter branch to order it. When it arrived the seat cushions were the wrong filling and compared to our 14 years old Garrick sofa looked ten years older. The manager agreed it was the wrong filling ordered and has sent for replacements. The back cushions although the right filling, appear to be under filled and don't sit straight together at the top. As we cannot keep travelling to Exeter, the manager has supplied a returns bag and label and has said a courier will call this week and collect it to return to Thetford. Well it is Friday and still no Courier. Neither could he tell us when they might collect it. For a purchase of over £2000 it is probably the worst service I can recall. A £50 blind we recently ordered online gave exceptional service. Countless tracking emails, and when one arrived dented, an immediate replacement. We wait for some action.

I am surprised you have the check to ask us what we think of you. You supplied faulty goods, resulting in damage to our floor, then refused to abide by our statutory rights to return the goods to you. We want nothing more to do with your company. I will certainly recommend friends to avoid you.

Buffet top was faulty on delivery and your technician recommended a replacement. It's now over a month and no sign of a replacement being delivered, despite many calls to your Cheltenham shop.

Multiyork needs to be dragged out of the dark ages if it is to survive. DFS delivery service comes with unpack - remove packaging and take away and make sure item is put together and your happy - then an online feedback form comes out within 24 hours in case your not. Multiyork they dump it in your house make sure they have your signature then scarper ! The Reading store manager is a bully to his staff and not pleasant at all to deal with where on earth did they drag him from the 1960's - has he never heard of team spirit well his have dampened ones thats for sure - I simply cannot abide bullies.

When is leather not leather? when you buy from Multiyork. Dye comes off after 1 year of use...turns out they spray it. Be careful what type you buy and don't expect a good after sales. They use an independent company to verify faults on site and amazingly they rarely uphold a claim! Also the time ticks on the leather from the day it arrives in the warehouse....not the day you buy it or start using it...surprised they don't start the 1 year warranty on quality while the skin is on the animal! Worst leather sofa I have ever bought for quality.

Very disappointed with our new furniture. After 5 months the fabric is 'bobbling' and the sofa and footstool look years old! Multiyork arranged to send out a 3rd party inspector to look at the items and he said it was normal! He proceeded to shave the bobbles off the fabric with an electric shaver and told me that this is the usual thing to do! I've contacted Multiyork twice since the visit but have not heard back from them. I plan to take my footstool to my local store and place it outside and asking passers by to give an opinion on how old it is!

Avoid avoid avoid. We sat on the sofa in the showroom at different times over a couple of weeks. We were told in the showroom that the discount applied to the sale price was ending so duly placed our order. When I checked 2 weeks later the discount still applied. Our made to order sofa is very uncomfortable despite ordering the same model and filling as the one on display and the cushions look short. This is the last Multi York purchase we shall make despite having been customers for thirty years as there is no longer a reliable comparison to be made between the model in the showroom and the final product

Head office customer service very poor, regarding "Copenhagen wall units",both Led light transformer failed only after occasional use in 4yrs. Head office customer service price to replace transformers is over £90!!! EACH!!. A COMPLETE RIP OFF...... I purchased, online, a transformer for just over £10. How can Multiyork justify their cost. Vulnerable people would agree to their prices. The Led light transformer Multiyork supply for these units is substandard and over inflates the cost of their wall units.
