“Within 2-3 weeks I already had 2 parcels stolen. The location is close enough, and the picture is somewhere in the car probably with other parcels - which in fact should be in front of the door, or somewhere to be obvious they tried to deliver. I've been both times at home, and I've got a very sensitive dog that can hear any movement. There was no intention of delivery. I won't get into details for the other 2 experiences, but out of 4 deliveries, 0 have been successful.”

“Parcel was meant to be delivered 23/11/20 and we were informed that day that it was to be delivered between 3pm & 7pm, had an e-mail saying they tried to deliver a parcel but NO ONE was in (this is a lie as we have been here all day) Why send out lies by e-mail and no one answers the phone when we ring. Will not use any firm that uses hermes for deliveries.”

“Rubbish for business use, when they deliver up to 9pm. Just had email to say parcel left with neighbour, but does not say what neighbour!!!!”

“Ive been waiting for my parcels for days , everyday im given a time slot and everyday im told driver could not locate the address, automated phone is a load of rubbish doesn't solve the problem and they dont respond to chats . High street shops should stop using this company its the worst .”

“Ordered something for next day delivery. Next day they said I missed my parcel when I was at home and waiting for them to knock on the door was unaware that I had to literally sit outside my hus for them to deliver. After 2 days they said they left my parcel outside my door and clicked a picture only if my door and no parcel. (Not sure who they are trying to fool). My sis was in the leaving room waiting for the parcel which never arrived. Contacted the company which hired them and asked whether I could pick my items in the delivery store instead. Worst services from a delivery agent. Clicking a zoomed pik without the product at the door.”

“Late deliveries! GOODS DESPATCHED AWEEK AGO. Two days running have bean given 4 hour slot for delivery. Still not arrived despite having waited in for the 2 four hour periods. Say they will email again tomorrow but are not promising delivery TOMORROW. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. CANNOT CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY BY PHONE OR EMAIL. WOULD GIVE THEM MINUS 100 stars if possible.”

“Left my parcel at the entrance of a block of flats... after 3 attempts! Baring in mind there are 11 flats in this building. I waited in to hear the doorbell (for no reason) and just decided to go & look for it. This is the 3rd attempt they have made, which is good of them in that sense, but this was only due to them only getting the wrong arrangement time (as contacted personally). Before receiving my item, the courier & I had texted back and fourth but the messages became rude and unclear. I suggested collecting it from them because she told me she had it on her, I replied saying I was confused. She said the best times for her was when her son had woken up. It was hard to understand that this was coming from the actual courier. Terrible communication and overall very strange! Will definitely be actively avoiding items delivered by Hermes.”

“Hermes are cheap for a reason - they 'employ' individuals who work out of the back of an old Astra... ...regretably their literacy skills are insufficient, such that they cannot read the delivery details. This is particularly bad on weekends. I have encountered problems with Hermes' 'couriers' on six occasions now. Hermes have no real customer service. Their livechat isn't - it is automated and incapable of responses to courier problems. THeir phoneline is also automated... ...and useless. Firms use Hermes because they're cheap - if they began to recognise that Hermes' appalling service reflects upon them, they would use other reputable firms, and perhaps Hermes' standards would improve. AVOID!!!”

“Package due to be delivered by Hermes last Thursday still not here. They say they tried to deliver it but I have proof they didn't. can't get to speak to anyone - they use automated on line chat and phone systems so they don't have to deal with problems. Dreadful service Avoid”

“Terrible service. Failed to deliver my parcel. My customer took legal action against me. Impossible to contact them. No idea what happened to my parcel. They claim to have a 'Customer Service' phone number which is just an automated tracking service that tells you nothing. Completely impossible to get any customer service. AVOID!”

“Would give them a minus rating if I could. Watched Hermes arrive outside my flat. they didn't attempt to press my buzzer (I'd given them the flat no. as well as my mobile phone no.) Actually watched them chuck my parcel at the communal front door and drive off!! I live on one of the busiest roads in Edinburgh and if I hadn't been looking out, somebody could have helped themselves to an early Xmas present. Hermes, you really need to get your act together!! Decidedly unimpressed and will not purchase from anyone who Uses Hermes as their courier in future.”

“Was told my parcel was delivered. Posted through my letterbox. I don't have a letterbox as this is a glass door. The previous delivery from them was also said to have been delivered but eventually after much chasing around was told they had lost it. How can it be delivered and lost at the same time”

“Useless, useless and useless. How come royal mail, parcelforce, DPD, yodel, FedEx to name but a few can deliver to my house, but I NEVER receive parcels being delivered by Hermes they are always returned to sender. Have tried contacting customer service that's a joke. I have just had 8 parcels being delivered by Hermes returned to sender, but managed to receive 6 six other via other couriers. ??????”
