"There's a probems with your address" No there isn't, and there's been no delivery van anywhere near here all day. Par for the course, in my experience.

Waited in for 12 hours 7am tp 7PM and no show. Contacted the retailer who said it would now be today. So I might have another 12 hours of waiting. If i could give 0 stars then i would.

Parcel dropped off NN a Saturday or collected until the following Wednesday. Unable to talk to a human. Instead have to "chat" to a robot which is worse than useless answers. Finally got through to a human by an unofficial route and s I was a customer REFUSED to talk to me

Two days of waiting in and two days of lying updates latest being that courier had problems with access. Not true because I’m recovering from a stroke and not going out at the moment.

All parcels without insurance I sent got lost. No postage fee refunded! Three months of communication with Support team, still no resolution, they behave like not guilty.

Dropped two return parcels off at Hermes parcel shops recently. Given the blue receipts with supposed tracking number on them neither one shows any tracking. Hermes tracking site doesn't even recognize their own numbers useless! I then have to keep ringing the retailers at my own expense to see if any of the parcels had arrived.I like other customers can't fathom WHY Amazon is using Hermes what's wrong with Royal Mail Amazon Amazon?

Completely useless! Firstly, I've sold a few items via ebay over the last Month, 4 of those were sent via Hermes. 3 of these items were misdirected during transit so arrived later than expected. The 4th was much worse. Arranged for Hermes to collect on the 3rd of July, but they did not attempt to collect. Re-scheduled for the 6th of July, again no attempt by Hermes to collect. No messages, nothing at all! I'm disabled and thought I could rely on them being a big company. I had to ask my son to come up and post it for me today... Also, Amazon use Hermes to collect returns. A faulty watch had to be returned. Amazon scheduled the return but Hermes failed to collect. Contacted Amazon for another collection, and yet again Hermes failed to collect! My son also took this to a local drop off point for me. Will NEVER use Hermes again for ebay sales, and wish Amazon would switch to another courier for returns.

On 2 July Hermes emailed me to state a parcel would be delivered by them that day between 11am and 3pm. Had an appointment at 2.15pm which I had to cancel. Only I didn't need to because the parcel did not arrive until 7.55pm. No apology and no explanation. On 6 July Hermes emailed me to state another parcel would arrive that day between 5pm and 7pm. Spent all evening waiting - to no avail. You cannot contact Hermes so I went back to the company from whom the goods were ordered. They said Hermes were unable to deliver on 6 July due to a "major event". If Hermes were able to email me at 13.27 why were they unable to contact me and inform me of this problem? Have had to abort all plans for today and wait around in the event Hermes may show up. Extremely poor service and I will not order any goods in future if Hermes are the courier.

The only reason I am leaving 1 star is because there is no option to leave zero stars. Hermes delivery drivers are inconsiderate idiots. TWICE this week they have pressed the intercom buzzer for my flat, left the parcel on the floor OUTSIDE and driven away in their van before I have had a chance to answer. It would have been very easy for someone to steal my packages if I hadn't been home. They should wait and find out if someone is going to answer the intercom before running away and leaving packages out for anybody walking past to take! In addition to this, today the driver didn't even bother to press the buzzer before ditching the package and leaving. This is completely unacceptable behaviour for a delivery company. Hermes cannot be trusted to deliver packages safely.

I'm not a big online shopper but have ordered several items recently from The Works and Sports Direct. Both companies were quick to get my orders to Hermes but once they had them, they might as well be in the Burmuda Triangle! Late, delivered to incorrect depots, stuck at sorting offices, excuses go on.... At the end of the day, if you pay for a delivery service, you expect good service not stuck waiting for parcels that were dispatched weeks ago. I will be avoiding companies that use Hermes in the future!

Consistently appalling delivery service in the Addingham (LS29) area. On several occasions I’ve been notified by Hermes that my item has been delivered when it actually hasn’t and arrives a few days later - but in the meantime I’m asking the neighbours if they’ve got it. I presume this hides their dreadful service from their retailer clients. Then today, for the third or fourth time this summer, a delivery in a cardboard box was dumped by my gate in the pouring rain, within a few strides of our porch. Our postman spotted it and went the extra mile to bring it to our door. This company simply doesn’t care and employs random drivers who couldn’t give a damn either. Retailers should give customers a choice of courier and then we could choose to avoid this terrible company. Perhaps then they would improve.

I am awaiting 3 parcels. First one was with Hermes on 4th April. No delivery and app still says with them. Second allegedly delivered at 4 minutes past midnight 3 weeks ago!!!! No card no parcel not with neighbour. They are supposed to be investigating this. Last one calling card left on 30th June with next day return date. Only contact on card is name if John. He has never shown up and when I try to call Hermes you get a stupid automated voice saying a delay and contact supplier. I am furious with this as I have paid out over £100 for these parcels to not receive them. I am sure there is something wrong with this firm as I clearly am not the only person not getting the parcels. Would never use them again.

Worst courier service EVER!!! Absolute waste of time!! I waited twice almost the whole day for my parcel and nobody came! Also, the APP is unuseful!!

Parcels being sent by me i have had 2 parcels going missing problem is they know if a parcel has a phone within plus you have to say what it is on the label will not use Hermes again bunch of thief's

I wouldn’t even give 1 star I have the same issue with Hermes all the time delivery resechuled for later in the day then apparently delivery came no one home is this a joke I take a day off from work and no one comes Hermes does this all the time such bad service absolutely rubbish

A great service from the regular Hermes driver especially during the Lockdown. Having received regular parcels and sent returns they always arrived without fail when I had arranged. Looking at other reviews its a pity some people haven’t had the same service as I have had. Thank You

No Stars. The worst service & total lack of communication when things go wrong & they do. I arranged online for 2 parcels to be collected & received confirmation that the courier would pick them up on July 1st. Someone wait in all ay to be sure the parcels would be handed over. Day 3 & the parcels are still here! I went on MyHermes website which I joined to send these parcels hoping the service had improved. It is far worse. My account is showing that the parcels are 'out for delivery' but they are still by my front door waiting to be picked!! Their email address and telephone numbers on their website are no longer in use. On the website one gets directed to a robot & I was told "good news your parcels are out for delivery". I have tried twice to call the new telephone number 03308085456 but having been on hold for a total of 75 minutes have given up. I will now take action to stop the credit card payment and send the parcels by Royal Mail. I am sure my experience is the norm & strongly recommend other Couriers not the countries worst.
