This perhaps is the most terrible customer experience i have ever had. Booked a parcel to be picked up for yesterday, waited for it all day along but no one turned up. Tried contacting their phone number 0330 333 6556 during the business timings today, and the automated (useless) system told me to either get in touch via email *(without telling me which email address ?) or to do a web chat.. Tried looking for their email/webchat on their website, i literally couldn't find it. is that a scam ? or a real company ? first experience and that is terrible.. Please avoid them. i had to use a star to provide a feedback, otherwise i would request this review company to introduce "Negative" rating

If I could leave negative stars I would. Lost 5 parcels in less than a month. No way of speaking to anyone, 'holly' the automated support is next to useless. I implore retailers to stop using Hermes as cheap is a false economy against the damage done to reputation.

Was Waiting for 4 hours for my parcel and nobody came! So bad. Not even able to get through the Hermes customer services because I am a retailer customer. Waiting for my parcel again today. Hope I get my parcel. If not money back.

Probably the most useless delivery service there is in my opinion. The delivery speed was ok/average but that's comparing it to Amazon prime which isn't a fair comparison. My problem was the options that are available if your not at home when being delivered. The safe place options were just stupid, for example leaving it in a porch or a shed/outhouse. Now I'm sorry Hermes but theres no way I'm leaving either of those places unlocked just so you can place a £30 parcel inside. Besides my shed isn't even accessible to anybody but me... you know because I own it and leave my land secure when I leave the house. The other option is to leave it with a neighbour. Most of my neighbours have jobs believe it or not so if I'm at work when you deliver (which by the way was between 10.00-12.00, which is right in the middle of a typical 9-5 job working hours) their going to be at work too! So your courier leaves a note saying he will come back and try every day for three days and then return the parcel to sender, which is just pointless! So I think ok, theres a parcel stop less than half a mile from house, problem solved. Nope wrong, another pointless option. You cant change to the parcel stop once you've ordered it under another address. Sarcastic thumbs up to Hermes. You cant even ring them to sort it out due to them being a online delivery service!! Unless your delivering to a business in business working hours this is a pointless delivery service for personal deliverys (unless delivering to a parcel stop). Which by way you need to make an option regardless which address you ordered it to. End note, I'm going to avoid shopping sites that use Hermes as much as I can in the future. I would give this less than one star if I could!

What a joke of a company. I waited in for 3 days they had not even been anywhere near my house and now they have sent it back what utter rubbish and complete waste of time. Beware and use some other company if you actually want to send something with no hassle.

WORST EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! If I could give no stars I honestly would. My parcels have gone missing, delivered to wrong houses and stolen. DO NOT USE!

My parcel was collected by Hermes and it was damaged by the depot so to hide what they had done Hermes sent a message stating that my parcel was lost it has taken 8 days to find this out there has not even been a sorry or a refund so be careful with choosing Hermes has your carrier .

They delivered my package to who knos where. Thought maybe it was at the neighbors but no. the delivery proof shows a house that doesnt look like any house near me, ive checked!!. and there si no costumer service!

Completely useless. Failed to deliver my parcel, and have now managed to lose it, in spite of its being 'tracked.' I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I've been ten days waiting for a parcel, Hermes said they tried to deliver two days ago, which is a lie! Since then, no updates or even reply to my emails. Never seen such a miserable service from any other delivery company. Avoid if you can.

They deserve a zero star rating. I was notified of a 13:00-15:00 slot which was put back to 15:00-17:00. At 19:12 I received notification that the parcel had been delivered and signed for. I don’t know where it was delivered to, or who signed for it, but it wasn’t me. As their system says it has been delivered, there is no way to complain and inform them that it hasn’t. No possible way to talk to a human. Aaaaaaagh.

Absolute shocking company,my parcel was due to be delivered on the 16th December,but a complaint in and have been told lost in transit!! More like it was stolen,why the hell do companies still use Hermes! AVOID!! I WONDER IF WE GET FEED BACK FROM THESE BAD REVIEWS,, ..

The worst company ever!!! They lost 2 of my parcels during Christmas period! One of them big brand suitcase!!! How is it possible to loose so big parcel?? Ask Hermes lol !!! I paid extra money to insure it and they offer me back less that I spend. It's joke not company!!! Never ever again!!!!

Why do companies continue to use this useless delivery company. I can only imagine it’s because they are cheap. I requested my parcel was to be delivered to my neighbour who is retired and at home all day. They decided to leave in my porch for the whole world to see. They didn’t even try to hide it. This is not the first time this has happened. So not impressed.

Waited in for a delivery said it would be between 8am-11am Then said 11am-2pm.. then received email saying I asked for it too be returned. Phone tracking information said “ unforeseen circumstances they were unable to make delivery.. I did not ask for it to be returned.. I waited in all day ..then other emails said they tried to make delivery 3 times after the email said I requested return of item. Contacted the retailer who I bought item off to let them know what’s going on . Obviously my local courier went to the wrong address.. shocking delivery service and taking ages for parcel to arrive . To which the retailer is using a different company now to get the parcel I requested in the first place
