“I have tried many number plate companies but have never really been totally satisfied with the product until I purchased a set from Myshowplates. The colour of the lettering was first class, no brown tint or any other issues which spoilt the plates. I have since bought another set for my other car and fully recommend the company.”

“I have used Myshowplates on lots of occasions and this time was just like every other. Their service is second to none! I wont even entertain any others as its a waste of time. Simple online site to order your plates then a couple of days later they arrive at your door! Fantastic!!!”

“Excellent service and a 1st class product. It took me about 15 minutes from start to completion of order placement to choose and set the text,layout and sticker onto my new plates. The plates were delivered in a few days and are of an excellent quality. And a very good price. I would highly recommend this company. I will be requiring new plates for another vehicle very shortly and will definately be using Myshowplates again. Colin Mauchlen”

“Extremely disappointed with the plates and disgusted with the customer service. After receiving my (black and silver) plates I opened the package to find they were in fact black with a silver border and what can only be described as bluey green lettering. I rang your customer service and as requested e mailed a photo, your reply was black and silver plates are black with a white border and grey lettering. I rang again to say I wasn't satisfied and was told you would refer it to your production team. Having heard no more I can only assume that you think these plates are of an acceptable quality. I do not and can assure you I will go out of my way to make sure anybody I know doesn't make the same mistake I did and buy plates from you.”

Hi Simon, Many Thanks for taking the time to review, I have looked into this and it was what you ordered, On the designer page there it shows on black plates a border, the reason is the print margins we cannot print black all the way, Its like printing a white A4 bit of paper black, the printer has print margins and cannot go to the edge of the paper, the same with the plate, When you click black plates the preview on screen does show that there is a white border around the plate, this does give you the visual as to what the plates will be like, You have received what you ordered and this is why the customer services would not offer a refund, you may have wanted the mirrored plates and maybe you selected the wrong one as this is what most vintage cars or pre 1975 cars have, Also the pressed metal plates are pre cars. Many thanks and i am sorry you weren't completely satisfied. Mike
