“Happy with the plates but it would have been nice if you had a choice of regimental military badges to choose from.”

Hi Howard, We wouldn't put military badges as some people would use them without being served in the force and it wouldn't be fair, We do offer a service where you can email your own badge and we will place it on the plate under the drop down menu select send own image and we can place this on. We respect our military and would nt like to be seen to be making money from selling their badges, All the best and thanks for your review and order Mike :-)

“I have ordered from show plates before and was impressed by how quickly they processed and delivered the plates. I would recommend them and will use them again as they had a wide choice of designs and fonts to choose from.”

“No instructions as to which side to drill the holes from - laminate came away from plate upon drilling, asked for a replacement and company wouldn't even honour their "no quibble guarantee" of satisfaction. Very, very poor.”

Hi Rob, Thanks for the review, You forgot to mention that you have ordered previously and where very happy with the product and service. You ordered again and were again very happy, you then drilled your new plates from the front pushing the reflective backing off and decided you weren't happy. Sorry Rob but we declined to offer you a replacement after you had tampered with the plates, Also you threatened to take us to court and the situation got messy. We do offer a no quibble guarantee, but not when someone has drilled the plates from the front pushing the backing off and then blaming us. I take your comments on board and apologise we couldnt send you some free plates out. All the best Mike

“Ordered plates and then was told they were illegal by garage phoned showplates and explained very unhelpful what a waste of £30+”

Hi Sharon, Thanks for taking the time to write the review, I am really sorry but you designed the plate online how you wanted it, we do sell road legal plates and show plates, for the information on road legal we have it on our site at : http://www.myshowplates.com/questions.asp We would be more than happy to run through on the phone the requirements for road legal plates as we supply mostly Legal plates. “The plate arrived satisfactorily but the adhesive strips did not. After an exchange of emails, I was assured they would be sent separately. They still had not arrived a week later so I bought the necessary elsewhere. They only cost £1.99 so it was not a big deal but they did not complete the order.”

“I ordered a motorcycle number plate stating that the wording ANDY P to be in light blue . I received the plate the letters were black after contacting yourselves all I got was someone telling me about dark blue on yellow back ground does not work as it says in our t/c it was light blue I ordered. I phoned about this twice then got told to send photos which I did I got no feedback at all about this so I phoned again nobody seemed to want to help me about this I just kept getting fobbed off I asked for a refund then I was told I had to send an e:Mail with the reason as to why I wanted a refund it was pretty simple why the plate was not the correct colour nobody was interested in my complaint at all my view of this company is that It gives a very very poor customer service at all times and I have to say I will never ever order anything else from you again I was very frustrated by the whole episode and have to say it seems like a cowboy outfit I have also put the word out on social media about how you run and do things you could not give a dam about customers and don't think you even know the meaning of customer service I have to say your company is a disgrace. Ps I even explained this plate was for my nephew who had just been killed on his motorcycle and it was important about the colours on the plate as this was to be displayed on his grave nobody has even got a heart it seems in your company. Hi Louis, Really sorry to hear about your Nephew and condolences. I am really sorry to hear you weren't happy with the colour of light blue. It is physically impossible for us to make blue on a yellow plate and it does explain this is capitals on our site. When blue is laid on a yellow reflective it appears black the same as if you mix blue and yellow, there is nothing we can do about this hence making it clear in the terms. Yes the staff would have told you the same and i appreciate your frustration but please don't think we fobbed you off, This is why we stipulate blue on yellow will be black. All i can say is please read terms and conditions and sites before ordering or just give the company a quick call. I apologies sincerely you weren't happy with this plate . All the best Mike
