Do not buy from this company, everyone who says they have had horrible experiences with customer service, failed ship dates, and the sorry excuses they provide is ABSOLUTELY telling the truth. They advertise deceptively, take their money immediately, and as a customer you get NOTHING! SHADY business. And oh yes, they blame their failure to deliver on FedEx because they’re crooks!

Their Support Team will make you jump through the hoops. Once they get your money forget it. There is no help with their team. They are company and money oriented . There are plenty of other Mattress Companies out there you would be better trying one of these.

There promised shipping times are not accurate. I ordered my mattress on a Friday, and received an e-mail confirmation stating the mattress would ship within 2-3 business days. After those days came and went, I chatted with a rep from Nectar, and they assured me my mattress was ready to ship and they were waiting on FedEx. Two days later I've heard nothing. I tried to chat with them through their website, and the feature wasn't working. I tried calling them, but I was on hold for over 45 minutes and never connected to a rep. Hours later when the chat feature finally worked, I talked to a rep who said the same thing, "we're waiting on FedEx". When I complained that they weren't holding up their end of the bargain as far as a shipping commitment I was told that they have 3 business days plus 5 business days to ship. I told her that made absolutely no sense and was deceptive to consumers. They refused to cancel my order, even though it hadn't shipped yet because it was "ready" to ship. I'll be returning the mattress whenever Nectar decides to get it to me. Really poor communication from a company. If I'm dropping $1,000 on a product, that company better send me an e-mail letting me know exactly when my product is arriving. Ridiculous.

It's hard to believe all these 5-star reviews haven't been posted by the company, as my experience was completely different. First off, when the mattress arrived on my doorstep the box itself looked as though it had been kicked down the street, dropped from a roof, and run over by a truck for good measure. This was the WORST packing job I've ever seen in my life, as the mattress appeared to be STUFFED into a too-small box with no exterior box, then sloppily taped all around. One side was even gaping open, as the tape had come open due to the excessive pressure contained within. There were even a few boot prints and holes on the outside, and parts of the mattress protruding from within to complete the picture. I know Nectar is trying to save a few bucks on the shipping cost as they're cheaper than Casper, but, trying to toss a delicate item like a mattress in a flimsy box and hoping it gets to its destination in one piece is NOT the way to retain customers. Anyway, I contact the company to rectify the issue and they offer me a measly $25 credit on a nearly $1,000 mattress. Blamed the entire thing on FedEx, even though it was their poor packing that caused 50% of the problem. Terrible!

I wish I'd never bought a nectar sleep mattress. Beware and proceed with caution: consumer rights neglected, read their terms before committing to a purchase. I knew by the 5th restless/sleepless night that the mattress was unsuitable and asked for a return for a refund. I'm dissatisfied with having to wait 30 plus days for a return to be organised due to "adjustment period". I don't need 30 restless nights to determine what I know within a week. I tried to exercise my consumer rights as I have had the mattress less than 14 days. But Nectar Sleep continue to refuse these. As a consumer I have the right to cancel the order within 14 days of receiving the items. The mattress is unsuitable and I wanted to return for a full refund but have been told I have to wait the 30 days for a return to be organised. Waited 30 days. They arranged for The British Heart Foundation to collect. I emailed a copy of the collection notice to Nectar for a refund. The refund took 2 weeks and several calls from me to be credited to my card. As I was advised it should only take 3-5 days. Note... If you buy a package inclusive of duvet, mattress protector and pillows they only refund for the mattress and will not accept a return of the other items unless they have been unopened and in original packaging. Dissatisfied with this too! Stay Away!!!

This has to be the worst service experience I have ever experienced with any company. Honestly, Genevieve was probably the best part of this catastrophe. After ordering a replacement remote control for an adjustable bed frame, which seemed so wonderfully effortless upfront, it was decided by Nectar that an entire adjustable base was shipped instead. This seemingly generous offer to replace the whole unit resulted in much of my time wasted over the course of 6 weeks, extreme frustration, and now the hassle of having to dispose of the existing base, which is in mint condition. On top of that, the replacement was initially shipped to the incorrect address despite me having confirmed the correct address at least three times with two different people. When I discovered it was at the incorrect address, I notified the Nectar team on the same day. After around 10 days, it had still not been collected with an agent telling me to reach out to FedEx myself to correct their mistake. During this time, the focus of the customer service team was on the solely on the shipment delivered to the incorrect address, constantly badering me for more information and endless assistance. How hard would it have been for them to call their FedEx rep and ask them to collect the box? All the while, as the customer waiting on the delivery of the adjustable base, I was receiving no information on when I would receive the replacement despite asking numerous times for an ETA. I needed to arrange for the trash collectors to remove the old base, and wanted that to happened around the same time as the delivery. That did not happen. I was not provided with a tracking number this time around, and the delivery person delivered the shipment on the curb without ringing the doorbell or notifying me of the delivery. A neighbor rang my doorbell to tell me I had a delivery on the street, which I then had to drag inside myself. I live alone up two flights of stairs. There isn’t much I can think of that could’ve made this situation worse. Thanks for the free $25 dollar blanket, Nectar! My time is worth a lot more than a blanket I don’t even need and I certainly could've done without the aggravation of this debacle.

I am shocked reading these reviews, as I have recently purchased 2 mattresses. I love it! I sleep on my side and it’s fine. The mattress does NOT sink when you lay. I received everything they promised and I thought the price was very reasonable. Hopefully I won’t have any of the problems as listed below. I did like the trial period.! I hope I don’t ever have to return it. Maybe they’re making things a bit better now!

DON'T BUY FROM THE NEW NECTAR BY RESIDENT. They've cut costs and changed everything that was once great about these mattresses!!!! I purchased my third mattress from Nectar in October 2020. My first purchase from them was in 2011 and I LOVED it, very very firm but with just the right amount of give. So when I upgraded to a bigger bed, I of course, chose Nectar. Flash forward about 6 years and I find myself in need of another mattress and right away I went to their website and made my purchase. Little did I know, Nectar has made some BIG but very BAD changes. Nectar is now Nectar by Resident and they have done something drastically wrong with the manufacturing process. The mattress SINK so low when you lay on them. Put 2 people in the bed and you sleep sideways all night and roll into each other. Back pain galore is what you are in for if you buy this mattress. My original queen bought in 2011 weighs twice as much as the new CHEAPLY made Cal King that I bought and am in the process of returning this year. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. And the returns process is NOT as easy as they make it seem. Buyer Beware!!!

Stay away if you have back pain!!!!!! I've suffered severe back pain for a couple of years, and after looking up Nectar (and then being bombarded by endless Instagram ads) I decided to buy one. They aren't cheap, but I was tempted by the reviews telling me how much back support I'd be getting, free pillows, and the 'last-minute' £250 off offer I'd be getting (which four months later is mysteriously still available), I decided to take the plunge. The delivery was a couple of weeks late, which was annoying but understandable. The mattress was very good for the first week, and I thought my back problems were sorted. Alas. After a couple of weeks the mattress started sagging in the middle, and even when I tried to sleep more on the side I would end up rolling into the middle of the mattress during the night. I was waking up with back pain worse than I'd ever experienced before - some mornings I was unable to even bend down and tie my shoes (all of this given I'm a sporty man in my late 20s). After another couple of months of struggling, sleeping from the other end, and generally waiting for the mattress to sort itself out and live up to its marketing and reviews, I decided to send it back. It took me a while after initiating contact to finally find someone to help. After a few weeks I managed to get the mattress picked up, but I was disappointed to find that the refund had the price of the free pillows deducted. Given that I neither asked nor paid for them I find this baffling. In conclusion, I would recommend going into a real mattress store and finding a mattress that really suits you - Nectar's marketing is very well done, professional and persuasive, but the product itself is poor. If you have a bad back then please, for your own comfort, stay away! And to the Nectar team, please stop charging people for 'free' pillows or change your marketing so that you aren't lying!

the mattress it took almost 2 months to receive and NECTAR refused to issue a refund and cancel my order even though the item did not ship yet. I disputed the charge with my bank and a week after the dispute nectar shipped the mattress and charged me again. NECTAR continues to hold on to my money at all cost. After finally receiving there mattress it Took another months and a half and 7 e-mails to nectar for them to send me a return label. they advised me to call fedex to schedule the pickup and when I called fedex pointed out the return label sent by nectar states to "Bill Sender" meaning I have to pay for fedex to pick up the mattress even though Nectar advertises free returns. After I finally send the mattress back it was recieved by nectar on July 21st. On July 27th I waited an hour online to speak to a representative who advices me they have not processed my refund and that he will process it now and its going to be an addition 7-10 business days resulting in a total of 4 months that nectar has been holding on to my money and avoiding a return. I am disgusted with the lack of customer service but more importantly the lack of integrity this company has. Nectar should be held accountable for their false advertising, avoiding customer returns and providing misleading information. DO NOT waste your time with nectar.

I purchased a king size bed, a bedframe with a headboard and then the additional add ons (that were free), the sheets and the mattress protector and pillows. The bedframe and headboard came quickly. Loved it. The sheets came about two weeks later and then a week later the mattress protector. Still no mattress (with pillows). First problem, the sheets they sent were not white as advertised, they were pink. Who buys white sheets and then receives pink sheets and is happy? Not me. Second problem, the mattress protector is not as advertised either. Who buys something and receives a different product and is happy? Not me. Customer service says that they send what is available because of their policy on the additional add on. Nope, I buy white sheets, I want white sheets. I want what is advertised on the website and not different cheaper products. Keep in mind we still don't have the mattress or pillows. I try calling customer service, nothing for an hour of a wait time. i talk to no one. I wait an hour in the chat Que, and finally I get a hold of customer service. Total time talking to them through chat is 2 hours. They try to have me keep the sheets for $35, but no, I want white ones, they say they'll start the return process and send me white sheets instead. By this time I'm too fed up with this company and I just want to cancel everything and not deal with them any longer. I have to take pictures of all the tags of the bedframe and headboard, the sheets, and the mattress protector. What a hassel, but at least they provide the return label and I'm done with this company. Great price, horrible customer service and horrible way to do business of shipping what wasn't ordered and not receiving what you did order.

Absolute garbage company. Shipped the mattress to their own warehouse and then I had to fight with customer service for a week to get a refund. Plus, they never let me speak with a manager. Just trash.

Site advertised a price and free items. then the site would not show the correct total. Nectar customer care said it was correct even though you could see the amount off and it was adding incorrectly. Buyer beware. False advertising as well as cost switching at checkout.

I cancel my order once I found out it was made in China after a week's worth of multiple emails failed attempts at phone communication I waited an hour and a half via chat to have the person tell me that my problem was completely taken care. he walked back in the warehouse told me order was told and canceled and my credit card would be refunded only to have a tracking number sent to me very next day. Horrible customer service!

THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU! The previous customer said it perfect! DO NOT ORDER A MATTRESS FROM www.Nectarsleep.com or www.Residenthome.com! I wish I would have seen these reviews before I ordered a Dream Cloud Mattress from them. They advertise on their website- shipping guarantee within 1-2 days after ordering. They never shipped my mattress! When I tried to call customer service (8 times) and email them (6 times), they Only answered 1 time. Only to tell me they are backed up with orders and haven't shipped it yet. Then when I requested a full refund, they said they would have to wait til they get the merchandise back in order to refund me. It never left their warehouse! I have filed a dispute with my bank

Lifetime warranty isn’t factual. When I bought the mattress they said I could put it on the floor. So I saved up some money for a new bed frame and when I lifted up the mattress is was full of mold. Carpet dry, bed wet.... their customer service wouldn’t honor their statements. I would look somewhere else.

The mattress itself isn’t horrible but the frame is beyond horrible. Any motion transfer benefit Of the mattress is destroyed due to the flimsiness of the frame. I feel my husband’s every jiggle, wiggle, scratch, cough. Everything. Sadly, I didn’t realize the same one year trial doesn’t apply to the frame and was told I’m out of luck to exchange it.

This is the most immature e-commerce company I have ever seen. They have no process to return items. They lied about delivery dates and then proceeded to make returning items next to impossible. I am sure this is related to sale metrics around...make it real difficult and people will eventually give up. Do not buy from them. There are more mature options. I ended up going to Amazon who can be trusted.
