NL tried to swindle me out of my warranty for an ipad, even when they had a copy of my invoice. NL emailed me, saying my ipad serial # actually belonged to someone elses invoice, who had the same last name as mine and had bought the same ipad 2 years ago.

The Noel Leeming team is inconsistent and useless. I placed an online order for an iphone which on their website they specified was in stock. I specifically chose the one I purchased because it said it was in stock unlike one of a different colour which wasn't. After one day waiting for the call from one of their 'specialised experts' who was meant to call me when my phone was ready to be collected. I decided to ring the store, to which a rude man picked up the phone and was very disinterested in what I was trying to find out about my phone. He said "I don't know where your phone is, we don't have that information yet. I am outraged at this false advertising. I specifically purchased from noel leeming because their online store said that they had this phone in stock where others said it would take 1 - 2 weeks. Now it is looking like mine will take 1 - 2 weeks. I have send Noel Leeming 3 emails during their online 'open' hours and they haven't replied to any of them. I sat on the phone on hold for 40 minutes trying to get a hold of a real person, however I am a busy person and my schedule could not wait for their horrendous customer service people to pick up. I am very disappointed and would rather my money back so that I can spend it at a more reputable company.

Bought a brand new fridge freezer from Warkworth Noel lemmings. Unpacked it and turned it on to find the compressor isn’t mounted correctly. Huge vibration and rattle. A week later still waiting for a date to have it fixed. Which means I’m totally without a fridge/freezer 😡

Noel Leeming is by far the WORST retailer in NZ. I have spend so much money with these guys in the past, but they have finally broken me. Have you ever tried to get hold of anyone at NL? They tell you the phone wait time is around 30 minutes, but I have waited over an hour to talk to someone, who it end sit hasn’t got a bloody clue, nor gives a dam about giving you reasonable service. The chat line on the website is a joke and seldom works. I really don’t know how you expect to stay in business you guys, your reputation like your service, sucks

Got a message that item was delivered that in fact was not. Sent e mail no reply. Tried to call. They are saying waiting time 7 to 9 minute, but have to wait hours without any success.

Purchased a laptop on line then told not in stock, cancelled and 4 days later a courier tried to deliver it, refused delivery then ran the gauntlet to get our money back fortunately we did after many emails and phone calls. We used to buy from NL not any more.

After 13 days of waiting for my order to arrive for which the sent me an E receipt and taking my payment I phoned and after a 35 min wait I was told they don’t have that item in stock so I am getting a refund, How long I have to wait for it who knows.

WARNING: As an essential item during Covid 19, Noel Leeming are basically still selling fridges (in our case Samsung 318 Litre Fridge Freezer) online and are still taking your money (as I have just tried to buy one on the 15-04-2020 again online takes you to the checkout and no problems of stock-outs mentioned) for a product they do not have or at this point cannot get from their suppliers or guarantee it can be got or mention that they do not have it, is that legal? It took me an hour to get through to the helpline (BTW don't believe the message saying it will take between 10 to 15 mins ... that is just plain wrong it took me 58 mins of waiting ... when you get through they will fob you off with supposed to check stock availability and call you back but heard nothing as yet ... should only take about 20 mins to find this out where are they going to call the supplier .... China or somewhere outside NZ). After I bought the fridge I got an email about a week ago just mentioning busy delivery but no mention that it is a stock-out. This will be my last time dealing with them online (or even at store) as I have had a bad experience in delivery before the lock-down also due to inadequately trained personnel installing items causing damage. What a shame ... prepare for major disappointment ... they do not seem to care about the customer ... if this is their customer experience then maybe it can't be long before they head the way of a now defunct fast-food company. To others I suggest as a consumer show your sustain for such treatment and leave feedback for others.

Worse online service i have ever experienced. Twice used and twice they failed to deliver and waiting up to 1 month to get a refund. 1st time i bought a RC helicopter for xmas 2019. I didn't arrive. They had sold out even though the ad said it was in stock, and took payment. After many requests for my refund was told it hsd to go through Australia and they were on holiday. It took 5 weeks to get my refund. No apology. Now this time i bought a printer and paper to have something to do during lockdown. The ad said order within 4 hours and guaranteed delivery within 48 hrs. Again they took payment. Sent email saying order was packed. Sent another email saying it was with the courier. It never arrived. I asked for track and trace number and was given a B/S (false) tracking number. 5 days later they admitted it never left the store and did i want a refund? Yes i replied. I am still waiting for the refund. 18 days now and still no sign of a refund. I would seriously urge people to be warned that the 2 times i have used the online shooping i have had 100% poor service. Lied to. And when i gets to difficult they bury their heads in the sand and ignore you. I am down $217:00 and wondering if I will ever get my money back

I had a very unpleasant experience with your Apple device repair agent . Two weeks ago my iPhone 7 I paid $699 for 3 months ago stopped charging. No problem so I thought as I keep it in protective case & I’ve never dropped it or got it wet . 10 days later I get told the charging port has corrosion & will cost $599 to replace the charging port that any other phone repair company will do for as much as $80 & bear in mind you only retail i7 for $549 now so its ludicrous to spend $599 on a $549 phone . I get charged $40 to hear this rubbish & then to find there is nothing wrong with charging port & just putting new battery in has ended all this grief . I still havnt received my $40 back so now I will seek other ways to get it back like selling this story to the media & your competition has showed interest by wanting to look at my phone that was written off by your Apple Apple agent . The blurry pic is what they say my charging port looked like & the clearer one is phone in question.. you can decide

Went to lincoln road henderson Auckland branch to buy a TV , JB hifi had same model and $50.00 cheaper i asked sales person if he can match the price he said i can go and buy from there wowww So i did and i got free delivery too , Noel Lemming was my local store that's why i went there but i'd rather drive a bit further and get better service .

I made an order online and used zip to pay. I received confirmation from Zip of order, nothing from Noel leeming. After several emails, two store visits (staff at Hornby were exceptionally helpful) and 3 phone calls(One lady I dealt with was just rude and not very helpful) over a period of 1 week, it seems they could not find my order to honor, but could find it to cancel. I will not buy online from Noel Leeming again and will make sure friends and family are aware.

Whenever I buy a product there is always a delay in deliver, staff give a date but have to wait for weeks to get items delivered. My last purchase from this store.

Terrible customer service. I wish I could give zero stars. Purchased an item, which did not do what the sales person assured me it would. Returned it and paid more for another, which also didn't deliver on what was promised. Have spent two weeks trying to get a response out of the customer service address. Keep getting automatic responses advising they will respond in 24 to 48 hours but nothing. It seems they are happy to take your money, but then dont want anything more to do with you. I will never shop at Noel Leemings again. Very poor service in store and very poor from their 'Customer Care' centre.

The staff are always so rude. They are either trying to suck you into predatory extra charges or they are insulting you to your face. They have no stock that they promise onlline won't honour loyalty programmes and just treat customers like garbage.

Had to get a mobile phone at Noel Leeming Lower Hutt from an insurance claim. They did not have any in stock (even though they were widely advertised) and it would take 3 days to get one from somewhere else! So I upgraded to another phone which they did have. They then said they would order in the screen protector and case because they didn't have any of those in stock and they would text the next morning. No text. Went in and found they had actually ordered in the wrong size case so would need to order another as none in stock!! Another 3 days. I ended up going to JB HIfi and buying them that day. No stock, poor service. Do not recommend.
