“Fred was very instrumental in assisting us in getting connected to the Nordlayer system. My goal was to connect 2-locations via Nordlayer's network to establish a secured connection and using RDP to access the remote server. “Issues and annoyances, one after an other. First, NordLayer commonly fails to connect, while thinking connection was successful. However, no application can use connections until NordLayer is shutdown OR disconnected, then reconnected. Second, you must re-login after NordLayer update. Why, oh why? Considering updates are a weekly, sometimes a daily thing, this is a major gripe. Each re-login takes minutes with having to access a password manager AND retrieve an OTP. Third, when using NordLayer, Google often requires you to do a Captcha when doing searches. Again, very annoying in a situation where you always start with a fresh browser for each search and have to do the Captcha LITERALLY for every single Google search.”

“Nord blocks common business websites, one of which is Smartsheet.com. Amazon will block Nord (and other VPN's). We use Smartsheet in our business. The interaction with Nord's customer service is what caused us to take our business elsewhere. JayzTwoCents Youtube channel has a video regarding this same issue.”

Hello Aaron! Thanks for the feedback. Our optional feature of ThreatBlock prevents access to sites flagged as malicious to protect you and your employees. To open the webpage in question, simply turn off ThreatBlock on your NordLayer app temporarily.
