“Today, Thursday March 19, 2026 was the opening of the Nordstrom Rack on Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, Florida.
All I can say is that it is the most horrible disappointment. Normally, the Nordstrom Rack has clothing and shoe items that actually "were" sold at Nordstrom's. However, I went through the entire store only to find sub quality "all polyester" clothing and all plastic or cheaply made shoes. I would be embarrassed to actually put the name "Nordstrom's" on their labels. We, as shoppers know the quality of Nordstrom's merchandise. Please, please..... regional managers..... your textile merchandise at this store is worse than "sub-standard". I will not return to this store until some mode of improvement has been made. Thank You.”
“I am a regular client ! I made purchases in Glendale location several times. I had a wonderful experience at the Glendale, CA Nordstrom Rack ! Cashier Meri G. was incredibly fast and friendly despite the long line. She made sure all my items were properly packed and handled with great efficiency. Give Meri G. a raise !”

“Such unprofessional behavior from Josseline in clothing department. I was wanting help locating some clothes that we saw on the website and she was talking to one of her co-workers when i asked and she just points to where the item is and i still could not find the item after she pointed in the area. I asked again and she just continues to talk to her coworker and ignores me. Such unprofessional behavior. She was more interested in talking to her coworkers then helping the guest. Very disappointed by her lack of customer service and I wont be back after the experience i got. This was at the Southlake, TX location”

“I shop at the Nordstrom rack store by Northpark and I had an amazing experience with one of the associates named Tina. From what I understand she gets in at 5 AM every day and puts away all of the clothes that were tried on the day before and the new merchandise. She obviously works extremely hard and I showed up around 10 AM to find a pair of jeans that I had seen the week before. I could not find them anywhere and Tina was willing to help me. Not only did she go through every rack, backstock, fitting room put away’s in the front of the store return area. She then went and found one of the handheld computers the associates use to locate product. Using the RFI tag attached to the pair of jeans she was able to locate them for me. Obviously I left there a very happy customer but more surprised at how willing and Tina was to help me and how hard she worked to find those jeans and how long she spent with me. I would just like to acknowledge her and thank her for her amazing Customer Service. Thank you very much Tina! You make me wanna come back and shop all the time.”
“Ordered a shirt online - it came rather promptly - BUT it came with SECURITY SENSOR STILL ATTACHED. As it was the only item available, customer service representative suggested I simply return it, which I did.
But Nordstrom Rack charges $10 RETURN FEE and AN ADDITIONAL $10 RETURN PROCESSING FEE!!!!!! This return was not because I changed my mind. The problem was the fault of Nordstrom Rack employees and the item was unwearable.
I truly fee like it was a case of "got-cha" and I will NEVER shop there again! Makes the whole Nordstrom operation - stores included - look bad.”
“I went to Nordstrom Rack at town and country. I was looking to see to find a jacket for winter. There was one I liked, but I needed a certain size . I met a man buy the name of David . He was happy to assist me and called a couple of stores in the valley and I found one. He also informed me about buying online and it would be sent to my house . I love this store , its better then all the Nordstrom Racks in the valley. The quality is top notch and layout makes it easy . David and Nichole helped me so much to match a certain look . With there expertise and advice I was able to make my decision with confidence. That's service at it's best. Thank you , David and Nichole for making this my favorite store in the valley.”

“I went to the Bayshore store looking for an outfit for my son to wear to a friend’s wedding. Jean and Ciope were so helpful! I purchased 2 complete awesome outfits for him! They helped me choose 2 suit jackets, slacks, shirts, ties, and shoes to complete the looks. I could not have done it without their help and my son looked and felt great! Both Ciope and Jean had great suggestions and worked with me to find just the right pieces! Thank you ladies! He wore the second “fit” this weekend to another wedding! 5 stars for going above and beyond!”
“Where to begin ... the shoes I ordered were twice the price of any other retailer, however, Nordstrom Rack was the only retailer that had my size. Top add pain to injury, they actually INCREASED the price before shipping the shoes. When the shoes arrived, they weren't in a proper shoe box, were 4 sizes too big, & they were not even the color I ordered. Never again.”
“This was one of the worst shopping experiences I've had. I made several purchases costing hundreds of dollars, then never received a receipt in email. I had to call Customer Service to have it issued.
Shame on me, but I hadn't read their review policy, assuming it would be comparable to any quality department store. One of the items I had purchased was a pair of shoes for my nephew's birthday that was a couple of months away. Unfortunately, the shoes did not fit. He never wore them as he couldn't even get his foot into the shoe. I took them back to the Nordstrom Rack store and was told they would not accept them as it had been 67 days since the purchase - even though the shoes were still in the box with the stickers, packing, etc., and had never been worn. So, unless you're a last-minute gift-buyer, you're pretty much out of luck if something doesn't fit the person you bought for. I get that the store clerk was just telling me the policy, but she did it rudely and before I could even ask a question about it, she shouted "next" to the person next in line to move me along.
I will never buy from Nordstrom Rack again.”
“I love Nordstrom rack, great shoe selection and overall find great clothes here. I will say one downside is when they make you sign up for rewards and ask too much personal information in order to get points off you have to give them your SS and I will never give away that to a stranger. This is for the checkout desk not reviewing for delivery”
