I purchased some beauty supplies and did a Saturday delivery. Well I didn't realize that my default shipping address was my old one in a different state. So my package was delivered and returned and I was so upset because I felt like it was going to be awful to try to get a refund and get the items sent to my new address. Well Nordstrom was amazing! They literally made it the easiest process ever they reordered the items sent them to my new address overnight and used a store credit so I didn't have to worry about getting a refund on my card and making another purchase! I was so pleased it was the best customer service I've ever dealt with I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Needed an item for vacation that was not available in any store. Ordered it on line and express shipping charges were waived. My favorite place to shop!!!

On the year of her 50th birthday after over 20 years of service where she personally attained Nordstrom's own All Star and Pacesetter awards along with being an award winning buyer and floor manager, Nordstrom has made the decision to terminate my wife's employment as a department manager citing "lack of passion" as her reason for demotion. Even though she remains to this day as one of the top departments in her store and in comparisons of other similar departments nationwide. She has been praised and supported over twenty years by many great managers who would steadfastly vouch for her still to this day. She has always been considered a role model and an awesome Nordstrom citizen. It comes as a great surprise and disappointment to know that upper management at Nordstrom would let this happen. I can't help thinking about one of the episodes of Undercover Boss where a longtime employee caught being a great person and mentor and always having the companies back is rewarded with so much recognition and rewards for her many years of great service and then have to contrast that thought with the demeaning and belittling way that Nordstrom's is handling the maturity of my wife's employment. Too young to retire but at such a difficult time to start over, the next few years could have been her golden years with the company where she could go out doing what everyone has known her to do so well, she would have been remembered as one of the solid ones who the young stars could look up to respect and emulate.

Had several serious and puzzling customer service problems at the Chicago Michigan Avenue store. I asked to meet with the General Manager of the store to no avail. I tweeted about the no show GM. When he finally stopped hiding behind staff and agreed to meet with me, he told me that by going on Twitter, I "had burned my bridges" with the store and with him. What made the experience even worse--if that's possible, is he defended his incompetent staff while all the while claiming no responsibility because "he was out of town." SO, I ask you, what competent manager cops to "the mice will play when the cat's away?" If that's the case, the lunatics are running the asylum even when he or she is there. And only a lunatic would shop at Michigan Avenue while the current GM is still employed by Nordstrom.

I love your store and merchandise! I live in Dayton, OH, and hear you will be opening a Nordstrom Rack at the Greene in Beavercreek, Ohio. How soon will you be accepting applications for Sales? I'm excited!
