This time I mean it when I say I won’t shop at Nordstrom.com again. This time they REFUSED TO POST MY REVIEW OF A PAIR OF EARRINGS the size of which is not given on-line, but which appear generously sized on-line. After I received them I was shocked and disappointed to see that they are extremely small. In the review I asked why Nordstrom, a seasoned upscale retailer, doesn’t know yet that customers deserve to know the size of earrings before they buy them. I then added: DUH. I immediately got an e-mail from Nordstrom.com saying my review had been MODERATED. Oh my, poor little Nordstrom, I hurt their feelings. The e-mail suggested I re-write my review. So now not only was I having to spend time orchestrating a return, but I was also expected to re-write my review. And what would I have in return – nothing! Last time I returned shoes using the pre-paid label Nordstrom.com provided. I did not hear anything so I contacted them. They said they never got them. Then I got a long letter telling me they received the shoes but were returning them to me because they did not come from Nordstrom.com. Doesn’t this kind of customer service remind you of something you might see on Saturday Night Live?

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT order anything from nordstrom.com it will create so much stress and a nightmare for you!!! I will never in my life order from Nordstrom’s again never never never ever what an absolute joke!!! I ordered a gift for a bridal shower it’s been almost 3 weeks and still waiting!! They claimed to have shipped the item the very next morning after my order was placed however that was all a sham they really only created the label and lied about actually shipping the item! Then they use the slowest and cheapest crappiest service provider either on track or FedEx which of course are both the worst shipping you could use in the USA!!! I waited for over a week (9days) just for the package to show up in their system and then it just sat there for days and days and days with no movement!!!!!!!!!! I contacted Nordstrom customer service multiple times to see what was going on and I just got the same answer every time your package will be delivered as soon as possible! LOL what a joke even the post office can deliver within two days anywhere across the United States so TRUST ME just don’t do it!! I order from eBay it shows up in two days I order from Amazon it shows every two days I order from target it shows up in two days I order from Nordstrom‘s and it shows up in over a month!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Stopped doing business with Nordstrom a few years ago as their customer service dropped to levels lower than Walmart. Bought about $3,000 in clothes over the last month and have experienced even worse service than the last time I was a regular customer. Trying to simply have alterations done on three suits, a blazer and dress shirt bought there, they make customers jump through hoops JUST to receive a Nordstrom Note, NOT refund for advanced paid alterations on their items. Other higher-end retailers do not make customers go through egregious processes to have items tailored. I've spoken with THREE different levels of "customer service", and the only consistent theme are the words " I am so sorry, there's nothing I can do, you'll have to call...". I am officially permanently done with Nordstrom. Their policies have gotten in the way of accomplishing any form of common sense service. They may be to busy focusing on social justice and other non-sense instead of just selling clothes. Far better options, consider Neiman Marcus, Von Maur and the like. Bye Nordy.

I attempted twice to purchase an item during the anniversary sale. Both times it disappeared from my bag during checkout and then was out of stock. The item never came back in stock (for weeks) until after the end of the sale; at which time Nordstroms refused to give it to me at the sale price. I believe that they hold popular items until after the sale, rather than restocking them during the sale, so they can charge full price for them. They used to be a great store with excellent customer service but that no longer rings true. Now they seem to be concerned only with their top tier clients, allowing them to shop before everyone else, and giving them other special perks. I can't help but note the hypocrisy coming from a company that attempts to portray itself as being all about equity and inclusion! I find myself more and more often looking for other places to shop. I hear similar comments from others and wonder if this is why they have had to close so many of their stores. I am so disappointed with the entire way their sale is now run that I will be returning everything I bought!

Not sure why Nordstrom now uses CDL as a delivery service but they are simply HORRIBLE. Still waiting to get a hold of my package which was ordered almost 2 weeks ago. They are bound to lose customers using this horrible company to deliver packages.

The Nordy Club is the loyalty club from hell! When returning a shirt my husband bought online, we were directed to sign up with TNC. The return went well, but now we’re getting Nordstrom promotional emails WITH NO OPT OUT (“This is a required service message about your Nordy Club account. Please know you're unable to opt out of service messages. For assistance, please contact 1.888.246.8720.” I tried logging in to cancel my Nordy Club account but learned on Chat that I had to call. The phone menu is set up only for issues related to purchases or a Nordstrom credit card. After a lot of frustration and some subterfuge, I managed to reach a very nice human being who, after reading us lots of boilerplate, said she had succeeded in unsubscribing us from emails and text messages. We’ll see.

Tried to order mens briefs for my husband online but was not able to unless I had a Nordstrom credit card which I don't nor do I want. My husband called a store and was told they could not take credit cards over the phone and the person at the main Nordstrom number said he couldn't order them until July 15th when their Anniversary sale ended. We used to like shopping with them but they have changed and not for the better. You would think that they would like all the sales they could get. Evidently they are doing so well that they can thumb their nose at patrons who don't have their credit card.

Never late with a payment in 30 years until my computer crashed. Was late for the first time.They reported me to the credit companies and my fico dropped to 720. This is the year i am buying a house. I will never shop at Nordstrom again. THANKS NORDSTROM

Here's the exchange I had with them in 4 weeks....they believe whatever Ontrac delivery driver says without using logic at all. I reordered exact items as the lost merchandise, they're bags for my daughters. Here's my last message to them. Thank you for trying but I haven't seen a US company worse than you. Now, let's go forward and show me the proof it was, indeed, delivered and accepted. Please don't give me another run around! I, need proof my house had/received it. You have to prove me wrong. Delivery company versus customer, you stay one sided? Who's telling the truth? Now, let's go legal. Show me the photo of the package infront of my door or a signature someone in my house accepted it. Without it, you're not going to win in court so please handle this well and right. If you can't, we're talking civil lawsuit and bad online reputation. Other companies,  like Amazon, could show photo of package or refund. So you 100% believe verbal word from your delivery partner and not your customers a bit. Did you see I spent another $2,000 with some items exactly the same. It's not even worth it, it's principle. Everyone,  is sending the same template denying my claim. I need a human  brain to think of the circumstances around.  I might just as well return all the succeeding orders as I start my online rants. I can't believe you're an American company. No consumer right and protection Ontrac delivery driver is king versus a customer who, in one month, spent $3,500 in your online store.

I ordered a very expensive purse which I’m told was deliver by Laser. I had two delivery dates and times given to me . One from Nordstrom and one from the delivery company. Both parties told me to file a police report which I did. However.neither party responded to the police. And neither party will accept responsibility. I’m out the merchandise cost and no merchandise. I’ve decided not to pay my charge card and wait till I go to local magistrate for resolution.

Absolutely appalled with customer service and shipping. I ordered two dresses for my brother's wedding totalling over $800. I was home the entire day the package said it was supposed to deliver but I received no package. I was told I would not be refunded several times or have my items replaced. Thinking about taking a legal route..I absolutely feel robbed with none of my merchandise I PAID for or even a refund/replacement to make things right. I expected alot more from such a "high end" store. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Nordstrom claims items are delivered even when the tracking shows they were not delivered. I received a refund in February because Nordstrom or the shipping provider lost the item. Today I received a disturbing and mocking letter from Nordstrom financial services claiming that they determined that I received the item and they want the refund back and they are charging me ( without my permission) 40$ that was refunded before. The evidence clearly shows that the item is not delivered and you are going to tell me that you went to my account and took 40$ ? I do not u understand the charges even at all .Also Nordstrom processes refunds in the form of returns. When they mark the item shipped and it vanishes into thin air, after that they process this as a return and not lost item. So they could tell you you returned it? Twisted. I have been traumatized.

Terrible customer care from Nordstrom.com. I wasted two hours trying to get a small discount on an item costing almost $400. Heavy focus from call center people stressing that Nordstrom doesn’t give veterans discount or customer care discounts. I’ll look elsewhere in the future.

I never leave reviews but I need to WARN people about my HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE with NORDSTROM this week. QUICK STORY: Ordered a package from Nordstrom, it was left outside by the carrier (pic below), nobody rang the bell, and now it’s gone. Here’s are the problems - (1) Nordstrom defaulted to an illegitimate delivery service, and now they are turning a blind eye to the package being taken - sending templated emails (probably out-sourced to another country) in response to my inquiry. (2) This matters because I was not given an option to choose any particular delivery or mail carrier when I made this purchase. Nordstrom was solely responsible for that choice. (3) Unfortunately, Nordstrom allowed my package to be delivered by CDL which has a Better Business Bureau (‘BBB”) rating of “F” (the worst rating possible) and over 45 consumer complaints logged against it. A simple Google search highlights countless additional complaints about the negligent behavior of CDL along with numerous reviews detailing lost and stolen packages. It seems IMPOSSIBLE THAT NORDSTROM HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF THiS HISTORY OF LOST AND STOLEN PACKAGES and even more curious that Nordstrom continues to use CDL to deliver any packages let alone those of such high value at its loyal customer’s expense. I was under the impression that what set Nordstrom apart from other luxury retailers was the quality and depth of its customer service. DO NOT BE FOOLED. Customer service on the phone and chat are lovely and empathetic. It’s the back end where the denials and negligent customer service is happening - and where Nordstrom continues to disappoint and disregard it’s customers, their commitment to the brand, and frankly, their money. Watch out buyers. Nordstrom unfortunately does not care at all about it’s customers - they are a sham start to finish.

Delivery program extremely lacking. Nordstrom obviously switched to a cheap and non-communicative delivery system as a method to save money and result in terrible service.

They have received my return items for 4 weeks already but still haven't processed my refund. Called them two times but they say they are too busy to refund and wanted me continue to wait till 30 day, what? Why they have time to take my money immediately but need 30 days to refund to their customers? What a bad customer service!!!👎👎👎

I am in shock at the experience I just had with Nordstrom. I ordered online and received my package, but it only had 1 of the 2 items stated were included. The package was delivered to a secure package locker, with a code that only I had access to and it was not tampered with. I immediately reached out to inform Nordstrom of the issue and only a few hours later was sent the following message: "I have reviewed the situation regarding the investigation that was done on your missing package. We have confirmed delivery by fedex, and they have the GPS coordinates on the delivery scan. We have also gathered information from our internal investigation. Due to the totality of our findings, we have concluded a theft occurred as you do not have your item. Nordstrom is not able to compensate for criminal activity. ​ We strongly recommend filing a police report. Once the investigation officer contacts us with a subpoena, we will be able to release the details of our investigation, and fedex will be able to release the GPS coordinates and any other details they have gathered in regard to the delivery to your designated shipping address." How this is okay, is beyond me. Yes, I did receive the package.It did not have all of the items in it. Not sure I can ever feel confident shopping with Nordstrom again, after being a loyal customer my entire life. So upset and honestly sick to my stomach about how this was handled.

Bought very expensive shoes with 2 other items. The package arrived with only the two other items I immediately let customer service know to see if they were shipping separately but they told me no and that their “internal investigation” concluded the package was delivered and I could call the police to report the shoes stolen out of the package… which wasn’t tampered with or opened prior to arriving to me. They were no help whatsoever and basically told me sorry you are out of the money and the shoes and we don’t care and won’t help. I’m returning the other items, canceling my Nordstrom credit card and my trunk club membership and never shopping at Nordstrom again. It’s such a shame
