On March 22, I made an appointment with Nubrakes for Saturday morning. They sent an E mail Sat am to say they would be at my house Between 12:00 and 5:00. They said they would text me when on the way. All this Info was good except for one thing. I waited all afternoon and No one called or showed at all. I called Mon and left a message for the manager since they said he was busy. So never called me back, but did send me a text and offered more of a discount. Did not except because actually this is the second time this has happed with this company. What bothered me the most is that no one could pick up the phone and call me. Told them they had lost a customer on my response to the text. Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else. Ted

Had pads and rotors replaced on 12/28/23 on GMC Sierra front wheels. On 1/9/24 caliper on left front wheel came loose at freeway speeds. A thumping noise was heard. Pulled off freeway and looked at wheel and saw inside of rim scored and calipers loose. Towed to a brake tire shop. Top bolt totally missing and bottom bolt very loose. Tech didn't finish securing the caliper bolts. This could have resulted in loss of control. I will never use them again. Their convenience doesn't outweigh safety. To their credit Nubrakes did pay for everything as they should have. But the breach of confidence supersedes everything else. Never again!!!!

Peter W Mechanic was great. Products were high quality parts. Problem is they didn't honor the price I was quoted. I was offered a black Friday 15% discount on the price I was quoted the previous day. I even replied back to verify the price and they confirmed it. Upon arrival I was told their people made a mistake. I needed the car so I had no choice. They pride themselves on upfront pricing but they wouldn't honor their quote. That was my review I left on their site when asked. I rated them a 1 because of not honoring their quote. When I went to their site to see my review it was as I had written but instead of 1 star it was changed to 5 stars. No wonder they show a perfect score of 5 when they change what you write. It's unfortunate since they did good work and offer a service people would use. I've contacted them but no one responds. I won't use them again and advise others to look else where for service.

I used NuBrakes previously and everything was great. I had to use my warranty twice. I used them again in October this year and my warranty was expired so I had to pay full price. I wanted to initially do a split payment so I used a card online. I then decided to use a different card for the full payment over the phone and I asked them to refund my other card for the partial payment of 267.67. The person I spoke with assured me my refund was processed. I waited a week and still no refund. I contacted them again through text and they said they processed the refund from their end and to keep them posted. I contacted my card company and they said to wait 10 business days. I waited again and still no refund. I contacted NuBrakes through text and let them know I still hadn’t received my refund and that I would have to file a dispute against them. They completely ghosted me after that, no response to my text messages, completely unprofessional and shady. I contacted my card company and filed a dispute and my card company issued me a refund within a couple of days while investigating the situation. They lost me as a customer! I will use a different mobile brake company next time. Also my brakes squealed many times after they replaced the front pads and rotors and they had to replace them twice. Caveat emptor! Buyer beware!

My grandson drove my car from Daytona to St Petersburg for Thanksgiving. He is in college there and has to return on Sunday. He told me Friday that the right front brake was squeaking. I scheduled an appointment with NuBrakes to come on Saturday Nov 25, 2023. They were supposed to arrive between 12:30 pm and 5:00 pm. When they didn’t show up I texted and said have you forgotten me? I got a text immediately that said we tried to get in touch with you. Our tech has an emergency and can’t come. Another representative texted and said we are sorry but we are one tech short so we can’t keep the appointment. Juan and Brian had two different stories. They didn’t get their stories straight. Was it an emergency or not enough techs. Why did they schedule me if they didn’t have enough techs? I didn’t get the notification until after 5:00 pm. They aren’t the only game in town. I could have contacted other auto service companies. Tomorrow my grandson will drive my car to Daytona with faulty brakes and probably ruin the rotors so instead of $255 to replace the pads it will be over $500. NuBrakes may have the best mechanics, the best prices, 100% Happy guarantee but actions speak louder than words. If they don’t show up, all of the talk means nothing. If you schedule an appointment with them you probably should call every hour to make sure the techs are coming. They may decide they don’t want to drive to St Petersburg late Saturday afternoon so they just cancel.

Had an appt scheduled to replace rotors and pads. Next day told me that the ones they usually get aren’t in stock for the appt the next day so informed me there would be a price increase if I wanted to keep appt. Not sure how many places they looked at. I agreed as I needed to get the repair done. I did ask since I was getting different parts than agreed upon if they could change the appt but they said no. Let it be know that they texted me this in the morning, the day before the appt. Later that evening I get a text that one of the rotors wouldn’t be available until 4 the next day, when my appt was schedule between 830-1030. Why wait all day to tell me that. Communication is iffy and they seem to do what they want regardless if it’s in the best interest of the customer. Stay away and I wouldn’t recommend. Coming to your home or workplace is great, but I’ll take to a shop that keeps its appts and makes sure they have the parts ready to fix your vehicle

I would give them 0 stars and here is why: -had an appointment for 2 weeks…they never showed up or called! -I was the one calling them 1/2 hour and 1 hour after the latest time “in the window”. -All they could say was, “We are sorry for the inconvenience” -would NEVER, EVER recommend this company!!!

Don’t like to be objectified as a woman? Stay awayyyyy. Don’t like your credit card to be charged without your knowledge or authorization? Stay awayyyyy. The technician told me I needed rotors which was arguable and then before leaving hit on me and told me to contact him at the number he was texting me from. Nubrakes then charged a card I had on file from over two years ago without authorization. I specifically used this service as I wanted to take advantage of BNPL. Now I have a $700 charge on my credit card that I NEVER approved and they refuse to do anything about it. “Sorry. You’re supposed to tell your technician before.” WTF? I used this service because I work long hours and am constantly on the computer/phone for my own job. It was 10million degrees outside…I ran in and out as my job permitted to check in with the tech and at the end I received a text that service was complete. I went outside and the technician told me I would receive a link to pay. I received a link to “add a new credit card” that’s all the link said. Before I could contact NB about payment, I find out they charged a card they KEPT on FILE from YEARS ago. No invoice, no bill of service, no nothing. They just ran my card without authorization and then blamed me for the inexcusable experience. I received an invoice DAYS later ONLY after I requested it from them. What kind of company operates this way? That’s insane. NEVER AGAIN. Take a long walk off a short pier, NuBrakes.

Tech was passive aggressive. Made rude comments about neighbors, I asked what was recommended for speaking and he said to turn the radio up, and he made comments about having to wait .

They came and did my brakes and when the guy was done he admitted he didn’t even check all of my brakes, just the rear ones that I had requested service on, after he was done and left and I was done with work, I got into the car and realized that I had two brake lights on, on my dashboard which neither was on prior to my brakes being serviced. The owner later texted me and asked if I was satisfied and I promptly responded with the issue of my brake system light being on, but he never replied, I messaged again and still nothing, definitely not satisfied and never will I use this service again nor do I recommend them!!!!!!!!
