We paid for next day delivery for our son's birthday but found out too late that they weren't able to deliver it due to staff problems. They refunded the extra £2 but we were disappointed.

Not very impressed so far! I ordered a couple of bottles for a birthday, which was on Tuesday 30 May, and the delivery having got to Edinburgh at 6.01 am on Friday 26 May (plenty of time to deliver to just outside Stirling) the bottles are still at the delivery depot. I wonder for how much longer? This may be entirely Parcel Force's fault and not yours, but it's still irritating. I paid for next working day shipping.

Disappointed about lack of choice online. Wine out of stock. Family purchased vouchers for my birthday but my preferred wines were not available. The shop did not offer better either. More of same -no stock. I will not be purchasing Oddbins vouchers again.

Lacking in choice Expensiv. Only 1 store open,(Hyndland) despite the adverts.Wine was bang average, as was the malt.Would not use Oddbins again.

I placed 5 separate orders of nice champagne for friends living in the UK. It took a long time on the web site because address matching software is not intuitive, doesn’t always have a match and if you don’t have thorough knowledge of UK address systems, you’re out of luck. In any case, none of the deliveries made Christmas, some made New Years and one was delivered to a wrong post code. I’ve emailed oddbins customer service twice. The recipient has called but we’ve heard nothing. Black hole. I’ll have switch back to JL.

Good afternoon Lisa, thank you for your orders and feedback, we are so sorry to hear the experience was not as we would have liked it to be for you. Since your orders where placed in the late afternoon on the 23rd December, we did do our best to get them to your recipients as soon as possible. As you mentioned, one of the orders had the wrong address on and this of course caused the delivery issue. We have had a look at our tickets and could only find one email from yourself regarding this matter, this was sent to us on Monday 09/01/23. After investigating the status of your order we responded to you on the Tuesday 10/01/23. Not happy having to place my order online rather than being able to use my gift card via my local store ie having to pay delivery charges and having to await delivery via a courier. Also, felt the packaging was overdone (wasteful).

Thank you for your feedback Gary, we are so sorry to hear of your upset at receiving an online only digital gift voucher. We do make it quite clear to our customers when purchasing these as a gift for someone that they are for online use only. As the items we send out mostly consist of glass bottles we do have to take extra care in packing them well enough to prevent breakages. We do however use recycled "pulp material" that can be composted or recycled again after use. We do hope you enjoyed your drinks and thank you for your feedback.

Really disappointing selection of wines available online. Hardly any NZ wines to choose from, but more generally a much smaller selection than in your shops.
