About Off The Record:

Got a speeding or traffic ticket? Off the Record lets you fight it in under a minute. Top lawyers. Flat fee. Super easy. We have a 97% success rate, and a full money back guarantee. If we don't win your case, you get a full refund in most areas.

With Off the Record (OTR) there's no need to mail in your ticket, no need to show up in court with most areas, and no need to meet in person with your lawyer. Your lawyer takes care of all the paper work and all the details.

How it works?

1) Snap a photo of your ticket
2) Answer a few simple questions
3) Off the Record matches you with the traffic attorney most likely to win your case

Once that's done, you'll be able to message your lawyer right from the app. And your lawyer will send you real time updates to keep you informed every step of the way.

Why choose Off the Record?

— Best value —

Legal fees to fight a traffic ticket vary greatly. At OTR, our lawyers charge a low flat fee with no hidden costs.

— Smart Match —

This is our magic ingredient. We don’t just match you with any random attorney. Our proprietary Smart Match approach analyzes past data and trends to match you with the traffic attorney most likely to win your case.

— Experienced —

We work only with the most successful, highly rated traffic attorneys in each city.

Thinking of not fighting that ticket?

On average, after your first speeding ticket, insurance premiums increase by $300 per year, for the next three years. That's $900 over the next three years. Contesting your ticket is the financially responsible thing to do! And since OTR gives you a full refund if your case is lost, you have nothing to lose.

Don't let a simple mistake tarnish your driving record and cost you hundreds in increased insurance premiums. Always fight your ticket!

Not a huge fan! In a better mood since it is settled. They did do what the guaranteed but nothing more. The Citation was lowered as far as the charge but the amount was not. Pretty upset since I have a clean record and don’t care about the points but rather did not want to give a dime more to Poulan,Ga than I had to since they wanna set up speed traps in their poor little town. My speed was not dangerous and the officer even pointed out the speed change a mile down the road. But again OTR worked out the quick deal which is usually removing the points but not getting anything off the fine. Since that keeps everyone involved except the customer happy. Town still gets its money, lawyer gets its money, OTR gets its money, and if you are only concerned about the points then you are happy. But I’m not.

They got the point off my record if I go to traffic school and “reduced my fine” but it wasn’t even enough to cover the fee I paid them. So, I actually paid more than if I had just paid the original fine. They did take care of everything and I didn’t have to go to court, but I thought paying for this service would do more than it did. I still have to do traffic school and pay for that too. I think I could’ve done this much if I had I gone into court myself.

Not worth it. Had a minor traffic ticket supposedly with a 95% success rate that I’d win the case and nothing got resolved. Wasted money on a lawyer to have to pay the ticket anyways. Waste of money

Finding out that I had legal insurance through my company after paying for an Off The Record lawyer, I had requested a refund and was told basically it would be more work for the lawyer that accepted my case and I would not get my money back regardless. This was a huge statement for lack of customer support.

It was ok even though you guys felt like I won. I personally still feel like I lost. I had to accept a plea for something I did not do in order to keep my driver's license. That's the legal system for you that supports racist cops who hide behind a badge and gives them the power to do what ever they want to do and people of color like myself got to take a plea so yea I lost. Thank you for giving me the only option I had to begin with was to take a plea and pay for something I did not do.

I would definitely recommend but my issue is I recieved a response from th DA before off the record did, so I literally paid for them to do nothing!

I was gonna leave this alone, but they spammed me about leaving a review, so here you go. Bad experience. Although my ticket was eventually beaten, my attorney did not show up to court on the date of my original appearance, leading to me getting a notice in the mail that my license was being suspended. I did not need that stress after paying the man to represent me. Also, they don’t make it clear that you’ll be paying the attorney fee, and you’ll still be paying the cost of the ticket, or higher, depending on the offense. Not worth it when they hire such sloppy attorneys.

Unreasonably expensive. Definitely not worth it.

I think the service was not that great. Onyl benefit was reducing the points that i did not have any othe choice. I was hoping any lawyer would be better defend me. I could have gone to court and probably gotten the same deal. Lawyer cost me extra. I would have been ok with a little higher fine and no point -- a different violation.

Not really satisfied with the service. They boast about getting tickets dismissed and have loopholes about not getting money back when your ticket is lowered to a “non-moving violation”. I could have done that myself by showing up in court. It doesn’t seem they truly attempted to have the ticket dismissed.

My speeding ticket more than doubled when including the lawyer fees...but I guess it's now a parking ticket and won't be going on my record. Can't say I'll recommend this service again due to not being told something like this would happen.
