A fairly poor experience with a low quality frame

La qualité du produit m’a vraiment déçu par rapport à une commande que j’ai placé il y a environ 3 ans. L’impression était alors fait sur une toile alors que maintenant c’est sur un carton. J’aurais été en mesure de reproduire cela avec un imprimeur local.

Hi - I have been attempting to get a hold of someone since receiving my frame, but I have received no responses. I am unable to add a mat to the frame, so I need to return it. Please advise how I can make that happen. Thnaks

Something seems off with the frame, my picture doesn't sit flat even though it does in the other frame that's the same size. Customer support is really slow

I'm currently not super happy with my order because one of the frames that I ordered is broken. Also, I just received 3 separate "Share your experience with us" emails. I'm not at home right now (I'm at work) so I'm unable to provide a picture of the broken frame. Also, I reached out to customer service yesterday but have not heard back yet.

As a trade partner, I've been disappointed with Opposite Wall. Their wallpapers are beautiful but they do not always match online photos and samples. We ordered for a client and what we received was drastically different and duller, and there was no accountability from our trade rep. Their online calculator was also wrong, so not only did we have to pay for another roll, we also had to pay for our installer to come back a second date, all with no help or support from customer service. This is not what we are used to as interior designers working with trade partners.

Hello! We are so sorry that you had these issues. We recommend purchasing a sample of the same wallpaper material to avoid this from happening. Our two wallpaper material do not have the same white which do not absorb colors the same way. It is also important to count for overages, especially when not placing the wallpaper yourself. We tried to make our wallpaper as easy to use as possible so anyone can install it following our guide! Thank you for sharing your feedback. Belle toile ! Je suis très déçue de la qualité de la vitre qui vient avec les cadres. Le collant sur celle-ci est très difficile à enlever. J’ai même brisé deux des vitres en voulant enlever le collant très doucement.

I was really disappointed with the quality of the two prints I purchased. Both arrived creased in several places and now look rippled in the frames. The prints are on what appears to be simple poster paper I could have purchased and had printed at Staples. They did provide a partial refund and responded in a timely fashion, but I can’t really use the posters.

I am a bit disappointed with my order. The large mat board arrived with two creases as it was not shipped with any protection and the white metal frame arrived with black deep scuffs. Both items are useable, but I am disappointed with the quality and lack of care with packaging the shipment.

J’ai reçu une commande dans un cylindre de carton complètement trempé. Mon affiche était mouillée elle aussi et a séchée avec des ondulations. Bien déçue

Product arrived damaged/scratched. I asked them to please resend a replacement quickly because I was leaving town in 10 days. They took their time shipping it, and now of course I won’t be home to receive it. If they had just packaged the initial frame with enough protection (even just a single sheet of bubble wrap) this wouldn’t be a problem. Overall not worth the time and hassle for a cheap plexiglass frame.

I just received my order. I must say I’m surprised about the quality of the wood. I was expecting it to be much heavier and durable. I know on the product it says Solid oak frame but it appears very flimsy. Could you provide more information about the wood used in the frame? Not quite what I was expecting for the price paid.

I had ordered a beige wall paper that upon arrival was very blush pink. Unfortunately their return policy meant I was unable to exchange it for a different wall paper to better suit my space and I was left with a costly and unusable product.

I ordered two identical wooden frames. One came damaged. I sent a photo and requested a replacement. They requested another photo. I obliged. Then, rather than a replacement, they offered me a 40% refund. I refused and told them I expected a replacement. Finally, they agreed but said the item was out of stock and would be in stock the following week and would send the replacement then. I waited two weeks and still didn't receive a replacement. I sent them another email asking them for an update, and only then did they finally send me a replacement. Eventually, they made it right, but it took a lot of hassle to get them to do the right thing. I won't be shopping with them again.

I thought I was paying a premium to buy CDN but sadly this frame is made in China. Frame was nice but not the perfect dimensions - I measured when it arrived as it seemed slightly off, and it was. That was when I noticed “made in China”, which explained why the quality was no higher than a frame I bought on Amazon… despite being higher in price. Lastly, I am also now being sent DAILY marketing emails which I did not want! Very aggravating. Overall, I would not recommend for frames unless they are the only vendor available to you.

I love Opposite Wall. I purchase a lot of frames for my small photography and art business. I recently purchased the 24 x 36 frames for the first time. They are lovely looking, but quite delicate. And both (I ordered 2) arrived with damages along the outer edge of the wooden frame. I can fix it with a little hatching colour stain, so that’s not a problem for me. However, the integrity of the thin wood frame, that spans such a large size, is questionable. When I was putting in my prints, the frame couldn’t handle the slightest pressure without bending. And the corners are separating a little at the seams. I am not sure that they will hold up to the test of time. I love the thin look, but these may need to be made a little thicker or beefier, so they aren’t so delicate and/or break. Flimsy is probably the best description. But, they look beautiful.
