“I love Opposite Wall. I purchase a lot of frames for my small photography and art business. I recently purchased the 24 x 36 frames for the first time. They are lovely looking, but quite delicate. And both (I ordered 2) arrived with damages along the outer edge of the wooden frame. I can fix it with a little hatching colour stain, so that’s not a problem for me. However, the integrity of the thin wood frame, that spans such a large size, is questionable. When I was putting in my prints, the frame couldn’t handle the slightest pressure without bending. And the corners are separating a little at the seams. I am not sure that they will hold up to the test of time. I love the thin look, but these may need to be made a little thicker or beefier, so they aren’t so delicate and/or break. Flimsy is probably the best description. But, they look beautiful.”
“First time ordering from Opposite Wall! I got a variety of different size prints. I must say I am quite disappointed with the quality. The paper is very thin and the printing is very bad quality. I ordered similar prints from Society 6 and the quality is 10x better. This will be my last purchase at Opposite Wall. I would not recommend to anyone else.”
“The frames look great, however I wrote an email to the support just over a month ago for support on my order and I have yet to receive a reply. This makes me uncomfortable purchasing from this company in the future.”
“I ordered the Rose Gold Metal Frame, 24x36 in, and the frame was great but the plexiglass arrived with a crack that appeared to have happened during manufacturing. I notified them and they promptly sent a new one. The new one arrived damaged as well due to lack of packaging in the box so I repeated the process and the last one arrived with a scratch on the glass. I didn't want to continue to get new ones so they refunded my money. I will say the service was wonderful but the product quality was very poor.”
“L'encadrement que j'ai reçu n'était pas en parfait état. Il y a un éclat de bois qui s'est détaché et les coins n'étaient pas fixé puisqu'ils étaient ouverts, j'ai dû les resserer”
“I ordered the print with a frame thinking it would come framed. Instead, there was a cheap frame wrapped in plastic and the print itself was put between 2 pieces of cardboard that had been cut from another box and taped together which looked like added packing. The cardboard was slightly bent which made a slight crease in the print which was not even in a plastic sleeve to protect it. If I hadn’t thought to look between the cardboard, I might’ve thought they forgot to include the print.”
“The frame itself is beautiful, but unfortunately after only 3 weeks it seems to have broken without us doing anything. After we hung up the frame, one morning we noticed that it had come apart.”
“The description on the Walmart website of this particular product wasn’t the same item that I was expecting. once I receive the item I had to open it to double check and make sure that this was the item that I had initially intended to order unfortunately it’s not suitable it’s not what I’m looking for and it wasn’t the proper item. overall it was a waste of money and not the correct item that I was hoping for.”
“The quality of the wood and the quality of the paint job greatly carried from frame to frame. I needed to sand and paint 4 frames for additional consistency, as even the four sides of a frame greatly varied. I really wanted to love the product as I love supporting a company based in Canada and using FSC wood, but I would likely not order again.”
“I ordered 2 oak coloured frames to be placed side by side on a wall and they are two completely different colours. Not great. I did not receive an email from the company as stated in their original reply below.”
Hello Emily,
Thank you for your review.
We are sorry that your frames do not have the same colour. Our oak frames are made out of untreated oak wood and therefore the colour can sometimes slightly differ from one frame to another.
Thank you for your understanding.
Have a great day,
Opposite Wall Team
“2/3 picture frames came damaged. At first I thought it was just bad luck, but after opening the packaging, I realized that the picture frames are made cheaply. Quite disappointing as I paid over $200 for them.”

“The light oak frame is much darker in person, and it also splinters a bit with handling. On top of that, I had to purchase a photo mat from a separate supplier since the size was out of stock on Opposite Wall. Less than impressed...”
