customer service is really poor for their online dept. Their online chat suggests only a few minutes wait but I never did get a response. Left 2 voicemails with their online help number and sent an email. no response. Even called to talk to a manager. none available. what is going on? this is my first time needing advice on an order so cant compare although i have ordered online ever since covid without any product or delivery issues. Tough to buy local with this level of service :(

Customer service from some staff isn't great! Could see their annoying behaviors , especially Brenda at Oliver Square! Free gifts are given to who they like and prices are very expensive!

I profoundly resent that you want me to write a review instead of asking me directly for feedback. So... here you go. Everytime I come there, one staff member or another comes up to me and engages. Then I say barely word one about what I want. But the staff member trots out a canned five minute speech. Once I came in to buy tea tree oil for cleaning and the staff member, utterly incurious about me or what I need, launched into a long speech about one particular tea tree being so much better (and incidently more expensive). Then when I am not receptive to being talked down to, they get disappointed. Here are the proper steps: discover collaborate validate initiate. First discover what I want. Then collaborate to flesh out my context and what I am thinking. Then check in. Paraphrase and restate to me what I just said without weaving in anything about your products. THEN initiate a conversation about how to address my needs. Otherwise you are just wasting payroll. From what I can tell, you waste A LOT of payroll on these canned five minute speeches that don't apply.

did not help my gut issues at all, was a huge waste of money and time trying to get them to ship it to me. Would not recommend buying this product.

I live in Ontario. I purchased an item while visiting in Edmonton April 25. Eucalyptus Steam pucks a cleansing vapour for the shower. When I opened the jar in the store the smell was awesome. A pricy item. By the time I got home unpacked and finally used the product I purchased…I was NOT satisfied with the results.No eucalyptus scent. When I contacted the Koyla store ..to make a long story short I was told “SORRY “they have a 15 day policy for returns. It was a pricy item with absolutely no vapour results in the shower or sauna. I got hosed. Just a money grab I will never shop there again

After the passing of my wife Optimum Health was of zero help getting a listing of supliments that my wife had purchsed over the past year for her Health Spending account. WORST customer service I have experienced in dealing with things at the worst time of my life!

Your staff, especially Carmen and a few of them were teasing and making funny faces behind customers. They were always chatting away and showed frustration when customers approached. They don't even check items expired before handing to customers. Your staffs can ruin your business. The only few good staff were Mirian and your Alesse. You CEO should reevaluate and screen the other staffs. Located downtown Edmonton!

Went there yesterday afternoon (a Saturday). The store was empty but for the clerk chatting with two customers. I had to pick up an order that was in. I went to the counter and stood there. The clerk continued to chat, ignoring me. I stood there waiting for what felt like 10 minutes until someone came from the back to help me. To add insult to injury, when I looked at my receipt in the car, she over charged me by a dollar. I absolutely did not bother to go back in. I really didn't feel the wait would be worth it.

I would have been a brand new customer to them, looking for a sugar waxing Brazilian done in April and I advised when booking I would be 7.5 months pregnant at that time. When I called this morning, I spoke to a gentleman, who booked me an appt for mid April. Then I received a call from a lady with a few hours advising that the day that was booked for me was wrong and there was no aesthetician available that day and advised there was someone there the day before the original booking and the following Monday that could help me. I advised her that I would call back to rebook. I decided to rebook online for the day before the original appointment. I got another call back from the same lady advising that that day I booked, the aesthetician working that day didn’t know how to do the sugar waxing on pregnant women. I was so disappointed with this as I rearranged my day around this second appointment I booked. I then decided to go back to the spa I normally get these types of services done through.

I was given the wrong product and didn't realize it until I was home and used very little of it. The next day I tried to exchange it for the correct colour. I was told I would have to come back on Monday when the boss was in. I am the caregiver for my Alzheimer husband so this is not so easily done. It was your companies mistake putting the wrong colour in the package and now you are punishing me for it. I have been a customer of yours for many years and have really been given the shaft.

I purchased a lot of products with their point system. I have yet to be able to use the points,. No-one picks up the phone online. I trusted this store and like their products. But I earned many points and they will not redeem. Whenever I ask in store I am told that I must call online. And that during Pandemic no-one was working here? Just not something I wish to be a part of! They consistently make promises they cannot/will not keep. I will spend my money in a health store that actually cares about their customers!

My review is focusing solely on the inability to get a phone response from the South Side location. In fact, I tested it out and even on a Saturday, someone answers the phone at both the 104 Ave and Sherwood Park locations. Yet, on any day of the week, no one answers the phone at South Side and the pleasant suggestion to leave a message because the staff is busy with customers - well, it just doesn't mean anything to me at this point. Because...... I left a msg about 6 months ago, and I am still waiting for that return call. Furthermore, I left a message on November 4th -- still waiting for a return call. Now - I'll give the benefit of the doubt to the fact - you may have a problem with your phone or your message system. Please check into those matters. If you think that responding with -- "South location is the busiest" -- get more staff! Otherwise, please change your policy at South Side -- answer your phone! Or at least, have the courtesy to respond to phone messages. You know -- there are other Health Stores in Edmonton!

I had been shopping here for the past 2 years. Never had an issue until I brought two dear friends to help me. One friend an been older and of Indigenous ethnicities, who is a very successful social worker just fyi. The manager herself had accused the older friend of stealing a small steel tea strainer. It had not come to my attention until after I made a very large purchase. There was a conversation going on to which I stepped in to listen an hear the manager become very defensive and dismissive; when the other friend asked why she had been assumed to have stolen the strainer. The managers staff had all ran away an said they did not want to be involved in the situation. The manager had been asked if the womans ethnicity had been the reason for accusations to which she squeaked out a no. I myself spoke and said that I did not agree with how the manager spoke to and treated the friends I had brought into the store. No apology came from the manager as to her poor choice in words and treatment of human beings especially when I had been a loyal customer for the last 2 years. Therefore I had said I would not be coming back and will take my business elsewhere. To which I went to Simply Health and was met with an incredibly friendly and helpful woman who went out of her way to help me find what was needed on my to get list. Optimum Health was my first and favorite place to go until the day the manager had shown her true colors which are not very pretty. If there was a choice for no stars I would give absolutely none for the poor treatment of what WAS one of your best customers.

I did not receive my parcel and was asked to send proof of mail box break in. The post office won’t give me what was asked for. At this point I don’t know if I will receive my parcel?

My recent visit was disappointing. The individual who was trying to help me left without communicating and did not return. While I understand masking is not mandatory anymore, I was wearing a mask and the clerk wasn’t. She was not respecting distance and I found myself having to step back a few times. I think this may have contributed to her walking away from me.
