I was at the Oliver Square location this past Friday, December 9th buying a lotion and two essential oils to mix with it. I opened both essential oils Saturday night December 10 only to find the Myrrh essential bottle completely empty. I will be returning it for a replacement on Monday December 12 or whenever my sample of another product arrives at your store.

There is one of the staff member at the Oliver Square Location that was in the WORST mood ever. She is a black Canadian with long violet/pink braids. She honestly needs to get out of the customer service ( or at least out of the cashier area) because she seems she hates her life working there. No a single word during the interaction while paying our staff. It is the first time that something like that happens to us in that place, we are regular clients. Our visit on Saturday the 3rd 2022 was amazing with the help of a lady named Miriam, but then when going to the process of paying was awkward and weird and totally ignored. Was it because we were immigrants? Idk, but the reality is that this staff member needs to get a reality check and have some compassion and patience with people that do not have a fluency in English.

I like the selection found here. However, I've spent a lot of money in this place and still feel like I'm being followed to make sure I'm not stealing. I go straight to skincare and understand that these are the things people steal the most, but I'm over feeling like I'm being watched, especially after spending loads of money. I don't think I'll be back and would prefer to order online from now on.

Disappointed with the lack of willingness to accept my request on allowing the double points on the purchase. I would've not requested it, but it was a big purchase for me and doubling the points would have helped a lot. The salesperson needed to ask the manager and the manager declined my request. The fact that the sale discount offer was changed to points it is stopping me from shopping at Optimum as I was before the change.

I came to your store on Saturday for two things. 1) I picked up a bottle fish oil 2) to get an new dropper for my Oil of oregano bottle. The lady asked when I bought it and yes the Rubber tends to break. No replacement. She did bring me an empty bottle for 2.95 which I declined.

While I like having the Rewards Program, it is currently run in an unfair manner - you only get 1 point bonus per transaction. For example, if you buy one item, say $20, you get an email, and you fill out the review, add a photo, and you earn 25 points. However, if you buy four items, say $100, and you fill out all the reviews for each item, and add photos, you still earn 25 points. I can't even believe I am having to say that this is unfair. And it makes me wonder why I am spending a premium price to buy local.

I bought the Natural Factors D3 1000iu along with the Daily Complete which was brought in from another store. I discovered The Daily complete also had D3 at 1000iu. I Went to return the Nature Factors and they said no because it was opened. This is the way I received the bottle. Inside seal was in tacked. I explained this is the way I received it but no customer service.

The store has a great selection and helpful and knowledgeable staff, but your reward/point system is terrible and does not compare to the other stores that give 20-25% off monthly for the same items with the same or lower prices. Also your new system is unfair as you never know whether you received points and what your total is.

I love Optimum Health. The reason for 2 stars is a recent visit to Koyla for a facial. The staff member was pleasant but seemed rushed and unskilled. I felt she was unfamiliar with "how" to make proper application. Not sure I will be back as you are paying for a luxury and not having the service behind it.

Optimum Health Oliver is a better store for customer service, as compared to the less helpful South side Edmonton store. The staff at Oliver store is much more helpful and friendly than the staff at Edmonton South store. This 2 star rating is for the South Edmonton store. To summarize, I have shopped many times at South store for convenience sake, but will no longer shop there, mainly reasons due to some of the staff being less than helpful and less than friendly. Not all staff, but the customer service from one of the staff there (not all staff) in my experience over time, has caused me to make this decision to no longer shop at that store. I will therefore shop at the Oliver store from now on.

I've shopped at your store for many, many years, spent thousands of dollars each year for myself, my family and others. Now I find your supplements to be outrageously expensive and I can get most or all online. Also the current staff is not knowledgeable about supplements and their effective applications. Knowledge and service was the main reason I shopped there and the main reason a physical store should exist these days. The owner is super knowledgeable and super helpful, but for many years mostly unavailable. At least I don't know when he's available to speak with, and when I stop in, he doesn't appear to be around. Last time I was there at the south side store I was pleasantly surprised he greeted me and answered my questions. If I knew when he was going to be there, even if it would be once or twice a month, I'd likely stop in then, in order to understand the products better and taken together. Over the years, MDs and specialist doctors haven't been able to help my family much with some serious medical issues. So I feel I've been on my own to try to understand how some supplements and protocols might help or not. Now we just don't have the financial luxury to try these without some credible research backing them up. Thanks.

I come in and usually buy one specific item. There is always two sizes have been doing this for 2 years at least. This time there was only a smaller bottle I asked the clerk about getting the bigger one . She said that is all we carry. I said no there is another bigger one that I buy. Well, this is it and no we do not have it ever. Just felt very dismissive

This rose hydrosol used to be great and it was in a glass bottle. Now it stinks badly and is in a plastic bottle. The plastic is leaching inside the hydrosol. I care about what is in products that go on my face and I am not comfortable anymore using this product. :( even the tea I got seems to be lower quality and it did not have the same taste. Very unfortunate.
