Delivery very slow. Ordered on 6th Oct. Received 24th Oct. Incorrect item received. Still waiting to be sorted out.

I’m a disappointed by the service Otto’s provided. I ordered a rod and reel online over 3 weeks ago. After a couple of weeks they didn’t arrive to I followed up and apparently someone had forgotten to send out the order. Last week the rod arrived but no reel. No one seems to know what is going and I am leaving on a fishing trip tomorrow. I will now have to buy another reel.

I am an international buyer. I asked for a specific shipping method that was available and they did not ship the parcel with the method I asked. They never communicate with me before to ask me or to discuss. I also send a msg afterwards to ask them and they never answered.

Very slow. I placed an order online Friday 12th August and did not receive notification that my order had been shipped until Friday 19th August. It is now the 29th August and I still have not received my order. For comparison, I placed a bigger order with a rival online store, being Anglers warehouse on the same day (half an hour later than Otto's tackle world). I received that order On Tuesday 16th August.

Not a great shopping experience. Didn’t receive most of my order and one of the 3 rods delivered was damaged. Sent through a dispute through their website on the order and have sent a photo of the crushed rod butt though no contact has been made to resolve or advise why most of my order was missing.

I ordered a fishing rod and the Butt configuration wasn’t the same as in the photo and the runners were twisted around the rod. I phoned and they arranged to have the rod pickup and returned to them. After this it went bad. I contacted them by phone and email asking for the refund for no replies. I had to use my PayPal protection to finally get a refund from Paypal. I think this is extremely poor on their part, I had to chase the refund and they did not reply in anyway. I was a repeat customer but never again. I have read the many good reviews but I would have to say be aware and be sure of what you think you are buying because in my instance, the follow up service from them is disgusting.

I bought a Samaki Toxic Rod last month. Used it once the bearings in the reel are ceased. Tried contacting Ottos sent emails etc and no reply. Pretty shit service will NOT be going back. 👍

To be honest I'm not very happy. I ordered two rods online. The payment went through for the two. They then subsequently phoned me to tell me they didn't have one of the rods. He asked if it was fine if they refunded the money for the rod that they didn't have. I said yes that would be fine. I'm now still waiting for the $89 refund almost two weeks later.

I get that the price was the same but I was really after the Spectra and you were one of the on-line stores who had it. rung prior to doing an online order to confirm stock availability,was told item was in stock . placed order,and added more items to make it worth while for postage.only to have an email,a week later telling me, said item was not available afterall and if id like another product colour in its place.Bit disappointed ,it took a week to discover order could not be filled.Cancelled complete order, not a great outcome for a first time buyer,will look elsewhere in future.

Order placed for soft plastics listed as in stock. 2 days later told some out of stock. 1 week later told most of new order not available so reordered again, what was now listed as available. 1 week later order listed as sent. Why so long ? 8 days later STILL WAITING ! Total of 4 weeks no show. Other on line tackle suppliers - 1 week total wait over the same period. Parts from Germany - 6 days from ordering to delivery on my doorstep. COVID can’t be blamed for everything.

Bought a shimano environet online advertised free shipping got a phone call the next day to say the shipping would be $40 but we could go halves shame on you Otto you just lost a customer. Found the same net on Freddys fishing online $10 cheaper and free shipping
