I bought a reel 15 days ago you happily took my money, promised me 2 - 5 days delivery and 15 days later it still isn’t here and no idea when it will arrive! That’s despite me regularly contacting u about it. Put the crappy reviews up on your website as well as the one that say it arrived 15 minutes after I ordered it.

Purchased a reel and rod from these guys. Only received the reel (no rod). I was initially impressed with the online chat facility on their site BUT soon found out it's just an automated response system. Tried to contact them - no luck. I've requested to return the reel - not much I can do with it without the rod. Wouldn't buy from them again. Order #N175202

i bought a daiwa saltist reel had no book and spare washers i rang ottos they told me daiwa havent got any spare books and the spare washers dont come with daiwa reels anymore . i rang daiwa australia and the spare washers do still come with the reels and daiwa are posting me book and spare washers for free. ottos tackle world lied to me i will never buy anything again from them

Normally good service but they dropped the ball on this one big time. Ordered 6 Sept, recieved over 6 weeks later. I called them 4 times and each time they promised to call back with information about my order but never did.

Went to exchange my Tcurve Premium after spotting an obvious defect with one of the rod guides, exposing the base of the guide to the elements through a burst bubble in the guide wrapping, only to be told by one of the elderly shop attendant that this was not a manufacturing defect and that most custom rods encounter those issues on a regular basis. The rest of the staff were as surprised as I was by the stupidity of this statement which I was told to ignore before they proceeded to replace the rod with another model. Needless to say that I will think twice before purchasing another high end item from a shop which tolerates this type of behaviour from one of its representatives. The man’s behaviour was agressive and left with me a negative impression having purchased an expensive rod without the level of customer service expected from this establishment.

This has been the worst on line tackle purchasing experience I have ever had. I will never use Ottos again. Still waiting on my braid. Happy to go in to more detail, if you are interested. Gary Hunter

Save your money and don't pay for express delivery. 1-3 days turned into 8 days for me. Very disappointed with service.

I’m a disappointed by the service Otto’s provided. I ordered a rod and reel online over 3 weeks ago. After a couple of weeks they didn’t arrive to I followed up and apparently someone had forgotten to send out the order. Last week the rod arrived but no reel. No one seems to know what is going and I am leaving on a fishing trip tomorrow. I will now have to buy another reel.

I am an international buyer. I asked for a specific shipping method that was available and they did not ship the parcel with the method I asked. They never communicate with me before to ask me or to discuss. I also send a msg afterwards to ask them and they never answered.
