About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“We purchased a new water tank for our caravan, the tank itself arrived quickly, but the brackets that were supposed to be with, took another two weeks. Happy with the products and the service, would recommend them.”

“Need a better draining option on the n80 airbox as the bolt is to hard to undo due to not much room. My airbox had a heap of water in it due to overnight rain, I found it easier to just take the cover off & soak it up with rags. Other than that I’m happy with the product”

“The snorkel kit and filter were delivered quickly and well packed, the engineer who designed the cut-out to fit the snorkel should be tied up and flogged for being an incompetent idiot!! the hole centers for the two 89mm holes line up perfectly with the OD of each other meaning once the first hole is cut the hole center for the second hole is removed ?????? I have a picture of the issue let me know if you would like me to send it to you, other than that good value for money”

“i rang first to discuss what i needed, the service team were great and my questions were answered. the postage time was fast and the product as per the pictures. Installed with an absolute minimum of fuss and to date is working as we hoped. only 2 weeks and a few thousand kms in so another review later would be needed to detail the reliability of this product”

“ordering was easy delivery service terrible tracking showed that it has arrived at the depot.my name and address had worn off during transit. i rang local depot and it had been sitting in there yard for 2 weeks the pallet was damaged.not happy at all !”

“Took longer than expected to arrive. I had to ring company to trace package after a couple of weeks. Company provided an explanation & finally sent product. When package arrived it was exactly what I ordered & paid for.”

“Received the towing mirrors within a few days of ordering. Very happy with them at present. Easy to fit to vehicle, basically plug and play if you are hand with tools. Haven’t had a chance to see what they are like with the caravan on. They extend farther out than the strap on ones, so should do the job great.”

“Anti flap kit arrived without 2 mounting brackets. These were sent as soon as they had them in stock and arrived 4 hours before leaving on my next trip so i will fit them on the way. Thanks to the staff at Outback Equipment”
