About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“The disappointment began with your 7% offer in the Afterpay email I was ready to purchase only to find my direct payment did not receive a discount So I went to a local store down didn’t pay freight and saw exactly what I wanted without bait promotions May now block all of your marketing Poor wording by your team”

“I had to chase up why product wasn’t delivered 3 weeks after order only to be told no stock. Was offered 1 black and 1 silver item. Asked for a refund and the refund took 3 weeks to reach my account. Very poor service!!”

“My experience with this business is nothing but positive. Obviously I have purchased from them because they offer quality genuine brands and secondly pricing is competitive if not better and along with that the shipping is prompt. I have purchased a lot of products from them and if I have needed to query anything they have been more than helpful whether it be product information or availability. For me price isn’t necessarily always first.”

“Hi, good to see you are back atd work. I was looking for a Sphere tv, but I see you do not carry them. I tried to ring last week or so, hard to get through and when I did, just got the answering service with no option to leavae a message. I got onto your chat system online, and was told you were offline. You never got back to me, so I bought a Furrion air conditioner from Jasco instead, and a Majestic tv direct from them in Southport. Coulda spent $2,000 with you, but you were unresponsive”

“I am so impressed with Outback Equipment. I bought the Survival First Aid kit for vehicles. This is probably the best first aid kit I have ever seen. It is incredibly well designed with almost everything we could need (I just added some of our own medications to top it off). We are regional, so sometimes purchases take a while to arrive, however this order arrived within days - so fast! It was sent within hours of our order being placed.”

“If Outback Equipment had actually stocked the winch I would have been able to rate it but they took the money without having stock. After 2 weeks I called to find out where it was and found out they didn’t have one and the supplier didn’t have them either…. After another 2 weeks Outback Equipment finally refunded me the purchase price.”
