This has to be one of the most incompetent holiday companies I've ever had the miss fortune to deal with. We went on a holiday with them to Morecombe which was a farce staff was less then useless couldn't use the pool as it was fully booked before we got there they kept closing the kitchen early and the entertainment was on a dirty screen you could hardly see. Unfortunately we had already had another holiday booked and paid for to Wales for my birthday in October. now 2 weeks before we was ment to go Wales announced anyone from tier 2 and above could not enter the country so I phoned parkdean they said the park was closed but wouldn't refund until the government made a announcement even though we couldn't go and it was shut. Two days before we was ment to go Wales made the announcement they were in lockdown so rang again no we can't process your refund until your ment to go. Well we are at week 3 after we were ment to go we have had no communication from them what so ever and still no refund. Please please please do not use this company they are less the useless.

Arrived at resort with 4 children to a caravan with only gas fire. children 8, 5, 2 and a 4 year old with autism. Had to pay extra money for another caravan, had to pay for activities that were advertised free and they put the entertainment on different times to what is on their time table. Staff weren't very helpful, manager never said a word Even though she was there at discussions, left other staff to deal with things and I even rang 3 days before going to see what would happen because of the covid and was left on the phone over an hour and the member of staff didn't come back so I put the phone down. I would not recommend Parkdean resorts, I'd even looked at buying a caravan there so pleased I didn't commit to anything.

Parkdean refused our request for refund due to lockdown in our area. We can't go on holiday. Very poor customer service as offered voucher instead. We are over 70 and not sure what will happen in the future so do not wish to rebook. Don't book with this dreadful company.

Dont ever stay at a Parkdean Resort. I booked a holiday at lizard point resort, cornwall. Caravan i stayed in was filthy and certainly hadnt been cleaned to covid compliant standards. The cooker was thick with grease, mattresses filthy and duvets used for dogs to sleep on as covered in dog hairs. Kitchen tap falling off, rusty radiators, trims falling off. Lights faulty also. I tried to ring to report but went to ansaphone so left message no one rung me back. So i cleaned caravan myself before i could let my elderly mother in. I went upto reception to report next day they didnt seem that bothered that the caravan hadnt been cleaned but they did write down all faults to be fixed. They done some of them but not the electric light but said they would get it done. It was never done whilst we were there. I will never stay at a parkdean resort again.

Paid for cancellation insurance and due to recent COVID lock down in Caerphilly we are unable to leave the area to attend our holiday with Parkdene Ruda. Was adviy2 weeks ago a partial refund would be issued but have just had a call from Parkdean today’s advising I was misinformed and I would receive no refund even though cancellation insurance was paid for. DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY

Stayed at southmere (skegness) 4 nights Not the best of experiences. I will not be coming back here again. First day the gas cooker was not working. The central heating was not working. The screws were loose on the themo stat dangerous my little one was touching it thought it was a toy thank God she didn't get electrocuted or even worse. Needles were laying outside on the floor very dangerous other kids were playing near by lucky they didn't pick them up. I informed the adult to that caravan that do not let your child out because of needle on the floor. Toilet was leaking. Hedges tremendsey over grown when driving into my road where my caravan is situated. Not sure but most likely my car has got some scratches on that side. Less lighting can't see anywhere in the dark. It's like a haunted park. People going into you when turning around corners no foot paths. The whole park needs to be redesiged and make it inevitable. Swimming pool was freezing.the bridge in the swimming pool is full of rust it looks disgusting. Told me and my daughter to get changed in the carpark which was disgusting. Instead I went into the bar next door to use there disabled toilets. It was very I embarrassing. No social distance going on what so ever. No showers available. By law showers should be taken before getting into the pool and after but not one person did. People had a terrible smell coming from them. You got a more of a chance of getting an infection from the smelly people in the swimming pool than covid19. It was horrible.  Worse place that I have been to. It will be butlins for next year. You should be giving me some sort of refund. It took me a long time to save my money for this holiday but it went to waste. Regret coming here. Worse of the worst. Was not given or asked if you require any additional items such as baby basket. High chair etc. She had banged her head a few times due to this.

Booked a holiday for October for £124. I thought that wasn't a half bad price until I noticed that they had charged me twice for the same holiday but only 1 policy number. I spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to figure out why I was double charge and eventually I got though to a manager who said I would receive a refund. It's been 3 weeks and no refund and when I called them back, they basically said it's my issue. DO NOT BOOK WITH PARK DEAN'S

Worst Campsite we have ever stayed at. Visited on 17th August 2020. No one at main reception to take us to our pitch do had to choose our own. Camp sure was over crowded, loud and noisy with music all day and way past the stated 11.30pm shut off. People were brawling and fighting at 3am but no wardon in site to call. Site was littered with rubbish and the facilities were horrendous. One shower block consisting of 6 toilets and 6 showers fir the entire Campsite and caravans etc! No covid posters about social distancing up in ghr toilets, they were constantly flooded in inches of water and filthy!! No sinks were marked off to allow 2m distance, no soap, no alcohol gel available.. Staff had put down signs to alert to water on surface but neglected to mop it up!! Toilets were closed off for longer periods to be apparently cleaned by 2 bins and were closed for longer then stated meaning no toilets were available and it led to us seeing other campers weeing around on the grass as they had to go. Nisa store was poorly stocked and expensive,food in freezer had defrosted and was wet and doggy, no one being stopped who entered without a mask! We left after a horrendous 24hours and reception weren't bothered with my complaints.

Parkdean Customers services are unhelpful and rude. Having booked a sun holiday deal and paid for upgraded accomodation I recieved an email saying my holiday was cancelles as I had not paid the balance. I thought I had as I had used the manage my booking option and removed the entertainmemt passes (as there is no entertainmemt ) i thought I had then paid the remainder but it appears it had not went through. Despite 3 hours of phone calls withim minutes of recieving the cancellation email they refused to help in any way at all except asking me to rebook. No politeness,No understanding and despite the cancellation email saying they had tried to contact us several times they admited on the phone that they hadnt tried at all but still no chance you can have the holiday at the price you booked it at you need to rebook. customer service shocking. I will never give them another penny again. One extremely raging mum who is out of pocket by over £130 over a bill of £43 ... EditDelete Share

We have been at your birth site since Saturday, firstly the site had booked someone on a caravan we had paid for. So the manager (or at least I think that’s who it was) said that it wasn’t his problem and that as a ‘favour’ he would put us up in a caravan for the weekend, the caravan was not fit for a dog! Filthy, dated it was a real let down!! The lady who we were supposed to rent odd refunded us and was courteous. The camp staff couldn’t be bothered to deal with it!! I gave this a one rating as there was no option for zero! Would never stay here again.. total let down! When we were leaving a lady that worked there had the cheek to tell us the ‘cleaners’ were going in so we’d have to be out by ten?!!! Gobsmacked as it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months!!! It was a sales caravan so we had to endure people’s faces peering in also! So a one rating is apt enough ... by the way I left a bottle of antibacterial spray - please get the ‘cleaners’ to use it!!!

Absolutely shocking, terrible response from the manager emily hunt at hayling island. Accommodation was disgusting, I wish i had read reviews bevore going, I wont be going again. Parkdean let me and my family down and I won't waste another penny there

We booked for the touring site at Sandy Bay, we were given a pitch number the day before. When we arrived our pitch was occupied by travellers, who had paid for a couple of nights, and then refused to move, most of the site was travellers doing the same thing there was 3 vans,we were told that was going to be moved later by the police. the whole camp was a nightmare, vans parked close together, no distancing, which we was promised in this pandemic. How the showers and toilets were going to cope, I didn’t stay to find out. There was a lad on a motor bike riding round just total chaos. We are in our 70s, and travelled 5 hours to get to the camp, and the same going back, plus £90 in petrol, to say we were shattered when we got home is an understatement. We asked for a refund, which they agreed, but reading other reviews I fear we will be lucky to get that. I would never go with Parkdean Resort again they are the worst company ever. Roll on September, Haven here we come.

We went last year and had the best time, rebooked for this year and then COVID 19 hit. We understand that a lot of what is happening is out of Parkdeans control but remember this Parkdean. You are being judged on what you do now and not on anything you have done before. So far you have failed and just read your reviews. Blocking off your phones and not accepting that no swimming pools, lack of entertainment and dining packages with no partial refund is acceptable to hard working families, they will punish you with lack of support to you when this is all over. Judge yourselves and treat us well and maybe we will remember you as the company that did not rip us off, its up to you.

Second day now I’ve tried to ring only to be told staff are training, with no one to man the phones. Still waiting for my refund after 3 weeks after the 28 days that you you said you aim to refund. I had booked a very large party of 53 vans all waiting for their refund, why now would you put your team, when people need them the most on staff training?? This is disgraceful

Afraid 0 star rating is not available Keep being lied to by Parkdean.Due to covid 19,the holiday parks had to close.They have still not issued a refund,keep phoning and emailing them.Lie after lie,keep making promises they can't keep,one excuse after another.The employees on the phone taking the calls are getting the brunt of everybody's anger,it is not their fault,even they themselves are fed up with it.They are being told to tell the customers lies.They have not even had the decency to contact me once we were due to go to Looe Bay on 30th March,2nd May now still no refund.Another unhappy customer of Parkdean after so many years of going on family holidays there we will never go to a Parkdean site again.

Why have you still not issued our refund. We will never ever book with you again. You went against government advice on when to fully close your park, thinking you could use a loophole, they closed the swimming pool, club house, play park, but you can still walk on the beach or sit in your caravan. When told you have to close you assume we would take voucher. After we declined that offer and asked for a REFUND you stopped contacting us, we have spent hours trying to contact you, our last phone call to you we were informed by your customer service that our money would be returned on 27 May. STILL NO REFUND. PARKDEAN YOU ARE A NATIONAL DISSGRACE.

They have closed all facilities. No refunds because they are still open, making all sort of excuses. If you change date have to pay any extras, yet if holiday costs less no refunds. Other holiday parks are closing or if you choose to rebook and the holiday costs less will refund the difference. Disgusting behaviour Parkdean. They state the health and safety our our customers is ALWAYS our absolute priority. Government has advised against all unnecessary travel and as far as possible to stay at home. Next weekend have a holiday booked, 2in group high risk, 1 asthmatic, I pregnant. Can’t avoid social contact as sharing with others.

Disgusting, through this time of this pandemic, they close all pools, bars and restaurants, but keep the accommodation open so they don’t have to refund the holiday, absolute joke and money grabbers, the CEO wants to be ashamed !!!!!

Not only has my husbands wedding ring been stolen , The Guy that runs the cleaning company that park dean contract out , all the staff know is his name is Damian , no surname ?? And the man is that helpful that he will not even come back down to reception to speak to myself or my husband , we have not been allowed any details of the cleaning staff , and accommodation manager on check in desk , Glenda is not even aware of procedure in this situation ???? it beggars belief .
