“Patchwork is gorgeous, fun and easy and gave me some great ideas around 1) things to do on my honeymoon! 2) creative writing ideas for the patchworks. Only downside I can see is the large commission when combining the finance partner’s fees too. Loved the website though! Like a Pinterest board with benefits. 😊”

Thanks for your very kind feedback. We're so glad you love the free service we offer and we hope you feel our own 3% commission on any cash collected via the site is fair. You can see why we’ve chosen this model here: https://patchworkit.com/our_fees rather than an upfront fee or generating revenue through advertising on gift pages as other registries do. We’ve just introduced Stripe who only charge 1.4% as compared to PayPal’s 3.4% on transfers so hope this helps.

“I think it’s a great idea, and such a creative way to send a useful gift! My only criticism is that, since this site only takes credit card payments via PayPal, and I have only my bank account on my PayPal account, I had to transfer money from the bank to PayPal so that I could complete the payment process. Which delayed the whole process for me and meant extra steps. Other than that, it’s all good!”
