“Outstanding service and products. This was my second purchase of shoes for delivery in the USA - professional correspondence and follow-through until I received my shoes. I emailed a question and received a rapid response. Would not hesitate to shop with Pediwear again. Highly recommended - first rate service that you definitely don't see these days. “Wonderful company. Brilliant range of shoes and accessories. In addition to my Alfred Sargent shoes, I received a free pair of Alfred Sargent lasted shoe trees (RRP £79- what a great deal!), a free tin of Grenson shoe polish and a shoe horn. The order arrived very quickly. The box was only wrapped in brown paper, and I think this should have had bubblewrap or some form of extra protection. However, there was no damage to the box or to the shoes, so this is simply an observation rather than a criticism- you never know how careful the people handling your package en route will be. In addition to the free gifts, I now qualify for a discount on future purchases of Alfred Sargent shoes and on luggage. You'll be hard pushed to find service this good on other websites, but that doesn't matter as Pediwear are already doing it. Will certainly use Pediwear again in future. Five stars all the way!”

We do actually place packages sent abroad in additional cardboard layers but tend not to with UK packages, and haven't had any real problems so far (though, as always, we would amend our policies if necessary). “Can you talk to Loake that to continue to supply their shoes to Hong Kong? Actually we can't buy Loake with larger size here, that's why I need to buy online. Thanks Keith Lau”

“The service, communication and delivery from Pediwear was excellent, nothing short of amazing customer service. The Loake 1880s that I purchased are also great quality and come in box with two shoe bags. The only disappointment is that the 'Mahogany' colour is quite a bit lighter than I thought it would be. To be fair, the Aldwych mahogany is not pictured on the website, so I used the pictures of the mahogany Strand and Cadogan from the 1880 line to make my colour decision. The mahogany on my Aldwych is closer to tan than brown, so I will be purchasing some Saphir Pommadier cream in a brown colour to try to darken them.”

Dear Customer I am very happy to hear of your positive experience with our services. I am sorry that the shade of the mahogany isn't quite as you expected. We are having the mahogany version of the Aldwych photographed - the shoe is with the photographers now. Unfortunately sometimes even though the images are precise, the shade can vary a little from batch to batch depending on the leather so it is difficult guarantee a particular shade. However, you seem to have the right idea with the pommadier cream - that should darken the colour a tone or two - and hopefully they will then be more to your liking! Dear Customer I am sorry to hear of these problems. Assuming that you are unhappy about being charged shipping at full rate for the three items, I can only apologise - we usually adjust these shipping charges when processing the order. Your shipping charges should have been reduced to £3.49 - which reflects the cost to us of shipping these items. We are charged by weight so the more items, the more it costs - but certainly not £6! As a good will gesture I will refund all of your shipping for this order - I hope this will improve your opinion of our service - we do not like our customers to be unhappy with any aspect of their order. “Very happy with the Mephisto shoes. Delivery was a bit slow due to some mistake as to whether they in fact had it in stock. I had to chase it up before they realised this. But dealing with a small personal operation meant that it was easy to sort this out and I wasn't in a desperate hurry. This is the second time I have bought Mephisto shoes from Pediwear. On both occasions the prices have been rather cheaper than elsewhere.”

“I have owned the Mephisto Scott shoes (chestnut color) nearly three months now, wearing them about twice a week both for work (professional office) and pleasure (they look great with Levi jeans). The following review also applies to the Mephisto Sandro and Sergio shoes, since those shoes, along with the Scott shoes, are basically the same shoe. As noted, the Scott shoes are great looking and very classy. For the first two or three weeks, the shoes were hard and stiff, but after about three months, they are no longer stiff. The shoes offer tons of arch support, similar in feeling to the Mephisto Match walking shoes. The shoes are now very comfortable, but it should be noted, they do not match the comfort level of the Mephisto Gaetan or Melchior shoes. This is my overall assessment on a 5-point scale: for looks (6 points), for support (6 pointser), for comfort (4.5 points). Overall Score (5.5 points).”
