“It's a great harness, but.....there is a big jump from the largest 2cm fitting to the smallest 4cm fitting. I, and many clients struggle to get something in the middle of these which is frustrating - as I say it's a good harness but have had to use an alternative. Also, I have noticed - as have many clients that the adjustability of the front piece has been removed, again making the sizes restrictive. Is there a possibility of extending the range to fill this game and returning to the adjustable front?”

Thank you for your useful feedback, Shanta. The front section on the 40mm range has not had adjustment, historically so I have passed your thoughts on to the development team as any suggestions are most welcome :)

“For the Harness very pleased with it,fits well allows full movement of shoulders with no restrictions.But the double ended lead has come unclipped on twice now so is a safety issue.would like replacement please.”

“Harness fits ok but rides up to Millie's ears. She's a small dog, I will persevere. Ps my surname is BROOKS, NO "E" !”

Thank you for your feedback, Rodger, it's much appreciated. It does sound as if the fit isn't quite right for your girl, as the harness shouldn't be riding up behind her ears. We have contacted you privately to see if we can rectify this :)

“Ordered a second lead. Definitely not as good quality as the last one. D rings smaller and lead not as wide. Still good but it was very good before.”

Thank you for taking the time to review us, Lesley. We're sorry to hear that you didn't feel that the harenss was substantial enough for you. We do have different size ranges with varying strap widths and clip sizes. It is possible that your pup will fit in to one of the larger ranges. Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. The PerfectFit Harness is not an anti-pull harness as such. The feeling of security when wearing a soft, comfortable and well-fitted harness is often sufficient to encourage a pup not to pull and the front piece of the harness comes with an extra D-ring for more steering control which is a helpful tool to use alongside positive reinforcement training. It is often best to think of the harness as the first step in your loose-lead training journey. “Two problems:- firstly, difficulty in finding fitting information and the one item we did find ( woman with the toy dogs ) was not helpful. She had some black clothing on which conflicted with the black harness - difficult to distinguish one from the other. Also, our difficult dog now refuses to allow us to put the harness on him with avoidance and aggression .So, we are not happy!”

“The harness looked smart and I liked the fleece padding, but I think it was unsuitable for a very small dog. There is just too much fabric between the front legs because of the attachments for the separate components. The idea of being able to make it grow with the dog is attractive, but actually just buying one that fits and then a bigger one if necessary will be more comfortable, so I have returned it.”
