“It arrived within a few days and we've been using the harness ever since. We changed over to this harness after getting some advice from our vet about the harness that we previously used and the impact that it could have on our dogs biceps tendon. Since changing over we've also noticed that our dog is alot earier to control due to the harness, where before they cluld pull easily with this harness not much effort is needed to regain any control on them”

“These Harnesses are the best, there is no doubt about it. I would only suggest to update your website, it is clunky (not very user friendly) and feels 90s.”

“Good product. Fits well and comfortable with the fleece lining. The D rings slip around a little too easily - which I find aesthetically annoying but overall I'd recommend this to others. The help line was also answered quickly and the people are knowledgeable. Being able to swap out parts that aren't quite rigth offers a great customer experience and as my dog grows I can change up parts without having the expense of buying a whole new harness.”

“Customer service is great and very quick to respond to emails. I brought a harness for my cocker spaniel cross and my large German shepherd. I returned the one for my German shepherd because I just didn't feel it was strong enough to hold his pulling. The smaller one however, seems to fit great, and seems comfortable for my boy. Thank you”

“We got this harness for our English Cocker Spaniel. Although we did go by the measuring guidelines, it does seem to twist round when he's on the lead - he does pull so sadly, although it fits I wouldn't say it was a 'perfect fit'.”

“Girth fit excellent, not as nice a fit on the chest but he is only a puppy. Fits well when he is walking forwards but a little loose when he decides to move backwards.”

Thank you for your useful feedback, Bryn. We may be able to improve the fit for you with some different sized sections. Keep everything that you have for the moment. I can send you out some alternative pieces to try, free of charge. We just ask that you send us back any unwanted items once you are happy with the fit. In the meantime, please do not use the harness as the pieces need to be in resalable condition to be exchanged. We will contact you directly to arrange this for you.

“The harness is well made and comfortable for my dog. Great to be able to replace parts of it, which we did after he managed to chew through one of the clips! Easily and efficiently replaced by PerfectFit if a little pricey. The one drawback seems to be he is able to slip out of it too easily when he decides he doesn't want to go the way I want to and pulls back.”

Thank you for your useful feedback, Lynda. It is good to hear that you are happy with the quality and comfort of your PerfectFit Harness. The harness is usually very difficult to get out of, but we never say that the harness is 100% escape-proof. We may, however be able to improve the fit to prevent your dog getting out of it. We will contact you directly to explore this option. Some other preventative measures for dogs who are prone to escaping include: • Avoid putting tension on the lead if it feels like your dog is about to back out of the harness. Try to go with them instead, keeping the lead slack. This avoids them having anything to pull against and will prevent them from wriggling out of the harness. • A double ended lead attached to both the front and rear D-ring also provides extra security as you have 2 points of contact with the harness.

“Very happy with my new harness for my dachshund who is an awkward shape. Took a while to work out how to put it together perhaps a bit more information would be helpful.. would recommend it though the service was fast and helpful and very pleasant”

“It was good to talk to someone on the phone about my dog and the 'perfect fit'. Ive bought several harnesses, none of which have been any good in the end. I received the harness abnd it was indeed the perfect fit.”

“Great product. Took 2 attempts to get a good fit. Customer services were very helpful in supplying extra parts to achieve the correct fitting. Problem with postage on second parcel, silly mistake on someone's part.”

“Delighted with my Rainbow harness. Purchased a Perfectfit harness 15yrs ago for previous dog, and it's still going, although a bit'threadbare'. Shame I couldn't get it from a local outlet, I recommend it to all my Dog Training classes. We have an excellent local pet shop(PK Pets Church Crookham Fleet Hants.) who are very experienced and knowledgeable, it would be great to have hands on service.”

“Fantastic quality and the only brand of harness that fits my boxer who has an incredibly deep chest but is petite elsewhere. I would give 5 stars if they fitted a handle at the back, like the Julius harnesses.”
