“This is a lovely harness. It fits perfectly round her back and tummy but a little bit loose around the neck and front of the chest but ok”

Thank you for leaving us a review, Carol. I’m sorry to hear that the fit isn’t quite right. Keep everything that you have for the moment. We can send you out some alternative pieces to try, free of charge. We just ask that you send us back any unwanted items once you are happy with the fit. In the meantime, please do not use the harness as the pieces need to be in resalable condition to be exchanged. We will contact you directly to arrange this with you.

“The harness is of a good quality material soft and flexible however the adjustment bucked tend to allow the unit to become loose after only a few outings. I would highly recommend this harness to anyone. I will have to ask for a smaller front section for my girl as the one sent is loose and at its fullest adjustment”

Thank you for your feedback, Carol. We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the quality of your harness but it sounds as if the fit you have isn't quite right as the adjusters should not loosen throughout a walk. We will contact you directly to check the fit and organise an exchange.

“Very quick despatch of my order, and the alternatives that I had to try. The original harness parts were all too big, despite having sent the measurements and a photo, but we got there in the end because they sent me six new pieces to try. Would recommend them.”

“The harness itself looks to be good quality and well made however it seems too loose on the front piece and there is no more adjustment (ccs). It’s a good fit around the chest and back. I phoned shortly after it arrived to ask if there was a smaller front piece and was told someone would phone me or email me however I didn’t hear anything. Apart from being a bit loose it’s a good harness. Edit: Gilly from perfect fit emailed me and offered to send me a smaller piece if I wanted to try it, which I did. A few days later a new front and girth piece in one arrived and it fits Bruiser perfectly. I’ve never had such good customer service from a company. Not only is the harness now perfect, the company is perfect too. 😊”

Thank you for your feedback Mark. I'm sorry to hear that you have not heard back from us, this is most unusual! There are certainly some other options that we can to get a snugger fit around the front. We will contact you directly to arrange this for you.

“Good product and delivery. Customer service good too. My dog is s crossbreed and so I messaged the company as instructed. I sent 2 lots of photos and was contacted and told they will send out the new parts for is to try. I did a video and email it to them wearing a new combo and they suggested how to make it a better fit. I tried it and think it fits OK, but am still waiting for a response from my second video - it was only sent 2 days ago though. I don't really like having to pay the cost of postage to return the spare parts to them, especially when I did give measurements initially, as requested.”

“I love the harnesses and leads I have. One very small quibble is that the lead I bought doesn't quite match the harness which is much older and closer to burgundy. No doubt shades change and it is close enough. Order came very quickly.”

“Supplied dogs measurements and was advised which size to get.Harness arrived too big and after posting parts back at my own expense,now have a harness that fits.A reasonable harness.”

“I had high expectations after my dog trainer had recommended perfect fit. The measurement was straight forward. The harness is definitely an improvement on the current one which she can walk backwards and get out of. This one is more snug. My only complaint is the strap is immediately behind her with no space. I am concerned it will rub against her leg. I feel that the harness should be longer on the top piece between the shoulder blades.”

Thank you for your feedback, Susan. It sounds to us that the fit of your harness isn't quite right as it should not be sitting too close in to the front leg/armpit area. Firstly, we advise lengthening the bottom of the front (Y) section (the bit that goes between the front legs). This will move the harness back on her body and away front he front leg. If this is already at it longest, it may be that you could do with some different pieces. “Nice fit, easy to adjust & put on our pup. The neck is a little loose at the moment but doesn't seem to be a problem & wouldn't want to go down to an XS (room for growth) Our pup seems to find it comfy to wear & its easy on her neck. She moves really well on her walks. Delivery was very quick.”

“Georgie seems to find the harness comfortable,although it looks a little baggy around her neck to me. So easy to put on and take off,certainly the best one she has ever had!”

“Harness is great (is a repeat purchase) however they did send the incorrect size first time and then requested I return the first set at my expense (when it was their error). Would just have let it pass but have been chased incessantly for a review!”

“Plenty of help to get the perfect fit, lovely and soft and padded, washes well, very clever system of different bits that fit together. Under pressure I find it difficult to remember how to do it up....I have had one of the dog's legs on the wrong side somehow and only found out when she popped out of it. However, that is my fault, it is a good system and doesn't annoy the dog as it doesn't go over her head”

“I wanted to see a size guide on the website but couldn't find one and had to get in touch instead. Would be great if you would offer a service to have a phone number stitched into the top of the harness.”

Thank you for your review :) We have a sizing calculator on the website where you can enter your dog's details to get a size recommendation but I'm pleased to hear that we were able to help you over the phone instead. “It’s the best fitting harness for my dog. Because it is sectional, you can interchange parts to make sure you get the “Perfect Fit”. My only slight niggle is with the girth piece. It could do with some extra stitching at the ends to keep the strap from riding up under my dogs shoulders as he is a very active chap.”

Thank you for your review, Rodger, it is much appreciated :) We are pleased to hear that you are a fan of the harness's modular design and the fit it has on your lovely, active boy. We think that we can see from the photos that you have room to lengthen the bottom of the front (Y) piece that goes between his front legs. Adjusting this out will move the harness back on his body and away from his front leg. You may need to tighten up the shoulder straps if you do this, too.
