Bought as Christmas present for my daughter's dog, so not able to fit it yet. Just hope if it not the right fit at Christmas that I will still be able to exchange? Couldn't give proper star rating, but field was required to submit comment so went down the middle.

Not quite the perfect fit, big difference between small and medium. My awkward dog needs shorter bottom adjustment than medium provides but small is too small on the neck. The worse about this is you have to pay postage both ways so money wasted. I'll have to adapt the harness myself. However, well built harness and lead, very good quality.

It’s too big on my pup. And I don’t know what to do. It’s just the bottom part what is big. But other a that amazing he doesn’t pull.

Perfect fit is exactly what it says, this is the fourth one I've bought. However struggled with the website this time, had to keep logging out to update each item. Also tried to place order by phone but was told no one was available and that they would call me back. No one did. So in summary the product is 5star but customer service not what I've come to expect over the last nine years.

I actually phoned for advice and i was told someone would get back to me. They never returned my call. I think it is fitted alright but it seems a little loose.

Great adjustable harness and comfortable for my dog. Love that it doesn’t have to go over his head as he doesn’t like that! Customer service was excellent. Knocking off 2 stars as paid £25 for the Paco pouch and after just 6 or so months of use, the faux leather is cracked and peeling, plus the back loops for the strap are coming off.

Harness was quick to arrive and good quality. Unfortunately bottom strap was too long on the Medium front piece. Perfect fit were quick to send out alternative pieces to try, but none of the combinations worked so it will all have to go back. Disappointed because the harness was otherwise lovely, just couldn’t understand why the link strap was quite so long on the medium.

If you’d have asked me last year it would have been 5 stars. My dog finds these harnesses very comfortable, they don’t rub and with her bro g a sighthound, being able to get separate pieces means you really can get a perfect fit. We replaced for larger sizes of all three when she outgrew the first one (we purchased when she was a puppy). However the second one has not lasted well (baring in mind she’s not even two yet, so we have not had it very long!) and two out of the three pieces are broken. Only the back piece is still intact. Dissapointing, and not good value for money if these are breaking so fast. It is the plastic buckle areas that are breaking. She doesn’t swim with it on and it’s under her raincoat when she’s walked in the rain and we have generally taken very good care of it! So, sadly, we won’t be purchasing again

Thank you for your useful feedback, Michelle. This is most unusual to see and certainly not what we would usually expect from our harness. We would like to replace these pieces for you, free of charge and will contact you directly to arrange this with you. With the intension of preventing this happening again, we may need to do a little investigating. It is most unusual for the webbing to fray and the clips to snap without some sort of external trauma. Whilst the harness is very durable, it is not indestructible and the scratches on the clip suggest that something might be rubbing on that area either whilst it is being worn or in storage, so it might be worth keeping an eye out in the coming weeks. Some other preventative tips that we suggest include: - Ensuring that your dog is supervised at all times whilst wearing the harness - Keeping an eye out for anything that could be rubbing on that area whilst your dog is wearing the harness (for example, we have had dogs who like to rub up against walls) or in storage. - Brushing off any dirt or grit from the harness after every use - Placing the harness in a wash bag in the washing machine and washing on a cool wash

Love the range but the recent leads purchased have much smaller D rings on them and I used to put a gencon lead/collar through the original ones and it worked great for my strong pulling Golden Retriever and Labrador, cant do it with these ones so a little dissappointed as ordered to replace the worn ones.

I am not sure that the harness I ordered fit’s correctly,,, as perfect fit was recommend by my trainer I am taking the harness to. Our training lesson tomorrow and will be guided by what she says and hopefully she will adjust accordingly if needed

Received harness quickly. Fit was fine first week than she managed to escape. Readjusted straps but she still wiggles out of it. Was disappointed but I could be doing something wrong. Would like your advice.

The quality of the product is good, unfortunately it didn’t fit either of our dogs, so we had to return both harnesses.

We do offer an exchange service where we ask you to contact us before sending your harness back. We can then send you out alternative pieces to try, free of charge until you are happy with the fit. The plastic clips rubs his legs as the padding doesn’t stay in place as he walks. It fits ok apart from this problem.

This certainly shouldn't happen as the harness is designed with the dog's upmost comfort and safety in mind. It is possible that this is an issue with the fit. Thank you for your feedback, Susan. We are so sorry to hear that stitching has come away from the front D-ring of your harness. This is most unusual, and we can certainly replace this for you, free of charge. We will contact you directly to arrange this with you. Some preventative recommendations include: - Not using the front D-ring on its own with a single lead - If using a double ended lead attached to both the front and rear D-rings together, we recommend putting the majority of tension on the D-ring and using the front for gentle steering - Brush off any dirt or grit after every use - Wash on a cool wash and place in a wash bag or pillowcase - Leave to dry naturally and do not put in a tumble dryer.

Harness is very good we had the very small size and are happy with the fit however the release clips are very fiddly and hard to undo, so much so that my wife is looking for slightly larger better quality clips to try and replace the clips to make it useable

Thank you for the feedback, Clive. I can see that your harness is in our smallest range. There is some cross over between size ranges and it is possible that your pup would fit in to our larger 15mm range, which had slightly wider straps and bigger clips. This is the third set of dog leads I’ve bought from Perfect Fit. I thought this last one was the same as previous orders but it doesn’t include a loop to put your hand through. So you have to clip one end over to the lead to make a handle. Unfortunately this clip and the fluorescent tape make it very uncomfortable to use.

Well, since you asked. I have done more cussing over my two harnesses than over most things. The online videos are not great, and some of the crucial moves are black against black. It would help (of course this would be a manufacturing modication) if each part was carefully labeled. Other than that they do work well, and the dogs don't get their leashes tangled up as much.

Received a different colour to that ordered black instead of black reflective and didn't receive first time order discount I was hoping for. The fit however was good so didn't give for expense of having to return.
