“We bought a 4x4 from you in October 2015 and the customer service we received was shocking!!
We were contacted by the same salesman, John McIntyre, who we have no issues with. Initially we were going to leave it and take our custom elsewhere but after chatting with John, decided to give you's another go. That's proven to be a huge mistake. We seen a car that we really liked and arranged to take it for a test drive. During this, we heard a noise coming from the offside rear, which John had heard as well and agreed to book it into the garage to get repaired before we were to pick it up. This was fine and we instructed John to go ahead and arrange finance. There was very little contact with us during this time, my partner had to call constantly to get information such as the registration so we could arrange insurance.
Everything went through and we were to pick the car up on Thursday so we headed in for 4pm. My partner asked to take the car for another drive as John McI and Kelly had advised that the car had been driven 6 times by the technician (apparently trained) who put it down to road noise! The minute my partner went out in the car, he could still here it, eventually the technician went out with him and the noise was pointed out as soon as the car left the forecourt.
We now have to bring the car back during our day off for your trained technicians to do a job they should have done in the first place.
Also, i would look at the company you use for valets as the car was clearly not cleaned properly. There is spilled coffee all over the centre console, marks in the seat etc.
We also paid for Peter Vardy mats for the car but they are seriously going to cause an accident as they do not fit properly and every time you change gear, the mat catches on the pedal. I've actually removed the drivers mat and its in the boot.
I thought I would give you's the benefit of the doubt and that the customer service I would receive would be better this time, but no! I'm yet again paying for Peter Vardy's incompetence and I am seriously considering cancelling the finance and handing back the car.”
“I saw my car on Autotrader and got a pop-up for an online chat. The response was quick and promised to get someone to send photos (non on Autotrader or Peter Vardy sites as just in) and more information, none was forthcoming. However, when I arrived at the dealership, the salesman Ryan Fitzpatrick was very friendly and helpful, explaining that the car had not long arrived and still needed prepping. He worked hard to get me the best deal, and after I picked up the car, and needed a service light reset, he accommodated me, despite me just turning up out of the blue a few days later. Thanks Ryan.”

“Sale was fine, handover of car was very rushed resulting in long wait for personal number plates. Made various phone calls and was ignored eventually had to email to get personal number plates sent. Really not a good after care service. Won't buy or recommend Peter vardy.”

“Went to view it and test drive at Peter vardy dalgety bay. Obviously was looking for the best deal possible. £3600 was the window price. After Negotiations was told £3600 was the best they could do, they'd put in half a tank of petrol, give it a protection polish and tax and mot for a year. I was happy enough with that and bought it. When I went home my husband looked it up to have a look at photos and saw it was actually advertised by Peter vardy on auto trader for £3500. I felt conned to be honest. I went back and they said it was an honest mistake and could I meet them in the middle. I didn't really feel I had any other choice. So all in all didn't feel great about the whole thing to be honest.”
“It was arranged that I would collect the car at 2pm on Friday 29th April. On arrival I had to wait 30 minutes for the salesman I had been dealing with to come free. While I appreciate the situation with commission on sales etc, a 30 minute wait is not acceptable. I was told the car would have at least 11 months MOT. it has 6. I was told that if I contact you in November you will do the MOT free. Can I have this confirmed in writing. There was also an issue with the price. When we had previously agreed to purchase the car, the price on the car was £3,999.00. The Invoice that the salesman produced was for £4,499.00. We did eventually resolve this issue, but again not very professional.
