. The call centres shouldnt be making appointment for customers to go and view cars that arent in the branches.
. i told the sales rep my budget and he
completely dismissed this
. I bought the car cash when i came to pay it i was told they can only accept £9k cash this caused hassel for me having to borrow money in put what i had already taken out back in the account , the sales rep knew i was paying cash i should have been told this before hand.
Apart from these three things i had a pleasant experience with yourself.

“Gavin Woo was the salesman I dealt with and he was fantastic. Really helpful and considerate without being pushy or too 'salesman-ish'.
The car I purchased was at a fair price and was in great condition - I did feel it a cheek to add £50 as an admin fee, £30 for half a tank of petrol, £25 for new mats etc to the price of the car as I would expect this to be included in the price of the vehicle. Also, my car was traded in with half a tank of petrol, mats and my time preparing admin (V5, parking permits, insurance etc) which I wasn't able to add to my part exchange price, so to charge this as a separate fee I felt was a bit rich.
Nevertheless, I would definitely return to Peter Vardy in the future. My previous car was purchased at Arnold Clark and their after sales service was so shocking, I vowed I would never return to them again.”
“The overall customer service was good, although sometimes a bit lacking in product knowledge. We were a bit a bit disappointed in the fact our vehicle was promised for delivery in March and we did not Receive our Defender until June. On a positive we were supported with a courtesy vehicle for three months to cover the period we were without a car so this made up for the lateness of our delivery.
The service on the day of collection was excellent, where we were made to feel welcome and the unveiling of our car in the showroom was special.”

Kevin Mc crum was the sales guy who dealt with us, and we were pleased with how he dealt with us.

“nice smooth transaction, vehicle well presented, sales were very helpfull, some minor glitches in that not all paperwork was handed over with the vehicle (had to request the MOT certificate after I got home and checked all the docs), also I dont believe the vehicle was thoroughly checked over, whilst I appreciate that it wasnt due a service, I would have thought that all the basics, fluid levels etc would have been checked? the Power steering fluid was just above minimum, I would have expected that to be on Maximum?”

“The people as you would expect are very helpful after all they want you to spend money in their showroom.
The only negative is that they had a week from me saying yes till we picked up the car but we still had to wait as things that I had noted still had not been done....nothing major but it was yet more wasted time waiting.”

“Popped into Peter Vardy for a look at some cars. Mike Ryan, sales, spoke to me and advised what was possible. I test drove a car on that same day and liked it, thereafter negotiated a deal to suit both parties.
Mike informed me that he was on the Rookie programme, which meant that he was still learning his job. He was very polite, courteous and proffesional throughout my dealings with Peter Vardy.
I would recommend Mike Ryan to anybody, as he has a friendly manner and seemed genuinely interested in my thoughts about my new car purchase and getting what was right for me.
After Mike went on holiday, I did however feel a bit let down in the apparent lack of interest in my telephone calls to the garage. After having phoned twice and getting told somebody would call me back and nobody did!! I felt that possibly other staff were not interested in my call as 'it was not their sale' type of attitude. Only they can answer that....
After having mentioned my disappointment, I would rate Mike 10/10 for his efforts and if it were not for the fact that he was so good at his job, I might have gone to Arnold Clark or sold my car privately after having felt the way I did in the lack of interest in my telephone calls.
I have never met Mr Ryan prior to my visit to the garage but think Peter Vardy have a great asset in him.
I hope that my feedback helps and maybe staff begin to take 'ownership' of other sales members customers in an effective manner in their absence.

“We started off on a bad note as the salesman gave us the wrong collection date for the car when I arrived he was on holiday or a course so the other manager stepped in to find out what had happened. The new date was 4 days later a total of 6 days after the full payment had been made. This saying, this is a training and admin follow up by your training manager. I cannot fault the Asian (Sorry forgot his name) manager who put everything right and has to be commended for his actions. I am still looking for a new car for myself as this one was for my daughter and is the second car we have bought from Peter Vardy so you must be doing something right !”
“Service with the sales team was good but could be improved if they had more room for negotiating as the prices seem fixed and when I tried to purchase a second vehicle was told that they could not budge on the price so I had to go else ware to find a second car to purchase.”
