“Sent my phone off and they received it week ago. No update at all and no response to emails. Their phone number is also disconnected. Have reported to trading standards.”

“I have never been more disappointed in a company. I sent my phone of nearly a month ago finally got an offer then an email to say a bank transfer had been made but still no payment recieved 2 weeks later. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before using this company only looked after sending my phone because of how long I was waiting to hear from them to say they had recieved my phone. I have reported this company to the police and action fraud, just waiting on a reply to see what steps I can take to getting my phone back. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, MOST DEFINITELY A FRADUALNT COMPANY”

“Avoid !!!!! Take notice of the high number of negative reviews and use a different company. They offered me £210 for my year-old Huawei P10 Mate Pro on the 22 Feb which I accepted and sent them my phone by return. (Trade in id 360123) They confirmed receipt on the 1st March and since then nothing. No communication no payment no phone. Forget their claims that they endeavour to answer emails within 3 hours. I have sent them numerous emails asking for an update (or for them to return my phone) which have gone unanswered. When I have managed to get a reply, it’s been sent late at night with some general comment like I will look into it or we have sent a cheque (which never comes). If you read the other reviews you will see this is a regular tactic. I am now in the process of reporting them to Action Fraud and taking legal action. Don’t be their next victim use someone else. You may not be offered the same amount but you have a better chance of getting your money.”

“Order number #36251 First negative review in my whole life. Received pre paid bag within a couple of days, sent phone recorded delivery. Have receipt from Hermes (which clearly says phone has been delivered on 22/03/2019 at 14.49- left securely in porch). I have emailed them on Tuesday (26/03) and Wednesday (27/03) but had no response (I have checked spam too). They say that they will respond within 3 hours on their site but that has not happened. Have tried ringing but no response, sent fb message- no response. Still awaiting confirmation and payment. Very poor communication. Impossible to get hold of anyone on the telephone, fb and emails. No response from company..no cash in bank as promised. They have had my iPhone for 6 days now and I've not heard anything. Genuinely concerned. If I won’t receive any response till end of this week will be reporting this company to the Trading Standards and the Police. Very disappointed....”

“1 week later still not been paid for my phone they have not replied to any messages since Monday, my device sat in the post office from Friday 15th March 19 then it was finally collected on the 20th March 19 by Mulready. Seeing it had been collected I sent another message today saying you have my phone now will you test and pay, but they have not updated on the trade ticket on their website and continue to Ignore all messages and now I'm growing concerned they will not pay me for my device, does this company have cashflow to pay or are they going to break a new phone and offer less what is the game here. I told them my personal situation that I need the money quickly they just didn't respond this is the slowest process I have ever witnessed I'm at my wits end as it is a lot money. I want the money as agreed by Friday evening or I will take matters a lot further with the relevant establishments. Order No. 362317”

“Sent 2 Iphone 6S Plus's in. Been emailing to see if they've returned them due to the man claiming one was faulty yet they both worked before sent them in. They have blocked my email so I dont know if they have been returned! Please avoid as see like scammers!! Received no payment & no update on whether my phones have been returned!!”

Dear Nikki, We have communicated with you the whole time and sent you photos of the activation lock and returned the handsets free of charge. We cannot pay for a device that is locked to you account as we cannot use the device or reset it. This is explained in the letter. We have not blocked your email we just had a server issue this morning which is now fixed. Regards, Phone Convert

“Still awaiting payment for my fathers phone sent in over 6 weeks ago, having been promised over and over again it’s being sent they are now not replying to emails or messages, please do not use this company unless you want to be out of pocket!”

Hi, As we have stated on a number of occasions a new quote was supplied to the email that is provided with order 358259. We cannot change this without the account holders 358259 permission and this needs to be accepted or rejected. We have also offered to return the device but have not had confirmation of the return address. We have not received an email from the one related to the this review but we have to the ones sent with the order number attached.
