“I sent a my iphone XS in expectation to change it to an 11 after its sold off, but they reduced the price by £100 after they claimed to have gotten it. I requested for pay and they weren't responding. But all thanks to Edward's, I thought it was impossible to recover my money. He assured me he was gonna recover every penny and he did successfully. I recommend edwardstones00 @ gmail. com if you wanna recover your money.”

“Agree with all below comments, send you documents and then do not pay you and ignore all emails. Company and website needs to be shut down and terrible this has not happened yet. People willing to recycle old items and they steal them”

“Everything went wrong. So rude in taking ages to reply to emails. Keep promising the money but it never gets paid and they also keep promising to post it but it never arrives. AVOID AT ALL COSTS they have stolen my phone 😡”

“The phone was sent for a price - the price was revised after receiving by the company which was also accepted - but I am still waiting for the funds to be transferred to the account. there is no communication and no one is responding to the mails. wish i had read the reviews before sending my device.”

“Don’t use this company. Agreed a price for my phone which I sent to them. On receipt of my phone they contacted me to say the battery was faulty, so the price would be reduced, if the price wasn’t acceptable they could return the phone. I decided to have the phone returned and they agreed send the phone back. Four weeks on and I’m still waiting for my phone, they told me that they posted it. I asked for a tracking number for the parcel so I could trace it. After the initial e-mail stating they would send me that information, I’ve heard nothing. This ‘Family run business’ ignore all phone calls or e-mails so I’m assuming they’ve stolen my phone. I have now reported to action fraud and the police force in Devon and Cornwall and about to start a small claims case against them. Damon Luke Mulready is the owner and Director of this company if anyone’s interested.”

“Sent phone in November and got a email saying there’s a problem and they offered a reduced price. After a bit of back and forth I accepted and didn’t receive anything. So I emailed and emailed and eventually got a reply saying they were having problems. I asked for my phone back twice nothing. Do not use 🤬🤬🤬”

“If I could have given no stars I would have. Sent phone off then the usual story "oh there's a fault - revised offer" Which I declined and asked for the phone back. Nothing yet - DO NOT REPLY TO EMAILS - NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT - COMPLETE FRAUDSTERS -DO NOT USE”

“I am shocked at the poor service. I sent 3 phones withthe courier 1. First phone - Received and said paying £25 - 8 days later nothing 2. Second phone - Email saying got it, but need me to email my apple ID and password to clear, even though it was wioped prior to sending. Also the request for ID and password to my apple account? Surely fraud? Asked for phone to be returned nothing 3. Third phone - they say not received on account, but i have an email sayiing they have it and again want ID and password In summary it was a mistake to send the phones and I expect I will not get my money back”

“I sent a device last year and after no response to my email regarding payment, I was sent a correspondence saying that I had been sent the payment. I have since contacted my bank and there is no payment pending for my phone which I sold to you. This is beyond a joke. I have already reported you to Trading Standards, but I will now be filing a report with your local police station. Furthermore, I will continue to publish negative reviews about my experience with this company when I’ve done everything promptly on my end as a customer. I will ensure that other people do not fall victim to your fraudulent activities by promising individuals money and then not giving it, or providing ridiculous excuses for not sending the payment. I am prepared to take this much further, not just for the matter of the money that I haven’t received, but for the complete lack of morals. I am sure that I will not receive a response, so if I do not receive a response by the end of the next week, this will be taken much further. It is completely ridiculous that I have to chase payment when it has apparently been sent already. Complete ********!!!!!!!”

“Sent my phone in the bag and address that Phone convert supplied after a price they offered was accepted by me. After a few weeks I hadn't heard anything so I email them asking where was my money, they emailed back telling me that they haven't received it I replied by telling them that it was tracked I had a date and time when Phone convert actually received it..I was then told that Damon was going to collect it from the delivery company. A few weeks passed not heard a thing so I emailed them asking where was my money! I got a reply telling me that the phone was damaged so they offered my a lower price,the phone was fine nothing wrong with it but I thought any money is better than none,so I accepted this lower offer..they then told me that the money was in the post..time went rolling by but no cheque arrived. I then email them again telling them that I would put my experience on social media on how I was ripped off as well as many other people that was wripped off by this so called company. They offered to pay straight away if I could give them my bank details not on your nelly I thought so I gave them my PayPal address to make the payment didn't really trust them. Anyway this has been going on from October last year up to February 3rd. Still not received a penny from Phoneconvert so I will put as much on social media to tell as many people not to use this RIP off company of my experience.”

“My phone was sold to them 3 weeks ago, they “never received my phone” Hermes was the courier, it’s been confirmed by Hermes that my phone has intact been stolen somewhere, the phone phone offered was £330, phone convert have only offered me £50 as they “never received it”. 2 weeks later still not replying to my emails!! Absolutely disgusting, I have a meeting at the police station today so I will be taking this further!”

“I was quoted a specific amount, however due to a screen replacement whilst I had the phone in my possession they offered a revised price that decreased by £15. Just for a screen!! It is basic knowledge that good customer service is a pretty significant requirement for the success of a business. Apparently replying to emails promptly as they had advertised on their website is too much to ask. They stated on their website that they reply within 3 hours during business hours. It has now been 4 days, which may not sound like much but it is misleading that you quote 3 hours and yet I do not not receive a response regarding payment. Secondly, I do not understand that after accepting the revised price why payment is not given immediately, especially when I have provided the method of payment prior to sending my phone on the basis that I assumed that I would receive a prompt payment. Furthermore, when I have viewed negative reviews regarding lack of payment after receiving the phone, I sent an email about timescales and I do not receive a reply! It’s honestly a joke! I don’t understand how you think you can advertise a prompt and courteous service when it has been anything but. There are several positive reviews left on the website but I don’t believe the authenticity of them, or if they are, you cannot just pick and choose when it comes to customer service. It’s not rocket science to provide all customers with the same type of service as described in the positive reviews. There are also several different methods of contact, including a telephone number, however it’s convenient that a digit is missing. I’m sure I won’t have been the first customer to have mentioned this, but yet this hasn’t been corrected. If I do not receive a reply by the end of next week, I shall report you to Trading Standards as well as filing a report with your local police station. I would not recommend them at all!!”

“They quoted £50 and once they received the iPad they re-quoted £5!!!! They said it had a smashed screen but it was in excellent condition before I sent it. They send you a plastic bag to put it in so no wonder things get damaged. Fuming, such a con!”
