“I’ve used Pimlico Plumbers for years and have always received a great service from booking to completion of the work. The administration staff are well trained, efficient, helpful and friendly. The engineers are Professional, polite, clean, well dressed in uniforms and I’ve never had to call them back to correct faulty work.
Today I was pleasantly surprised by Stevie Johnson an engineer from Pimlico who attended my property, his customer service skills were excellent! Nothing beats seeing a friendly, happy smile from someone who is happy with their work.

“£1800 to change just 6 metres of guttering! Yes that’s right but luckily I pulled out before I went ahead with the work following this exorbitant estimate from Pimlico Plumbers. However, I had to pay them £120 for an assessment. Pimlico Plumbers charge £100 by the hour plus VAT for any job they turn up for, whether or not any work is carried out. One man arrived and he said he needed scaffolding and it would take him a day and this is how Pimlico Plumbers arrived at the astounding figure of £1800. Another firm quoted me £220 including VAT for the work. I expected two people to turn up to change the guttering and because it was just him I had to hold his ladder. Pimlico Plumbers later said that on reflection it would have been better if two workers had been there but by me helping I made things more safe. I take this to mean that Pimlico Plumbers find it acceptable to ask customers to take responsibility for the safety of their employees.”
“TERRIBLE SERVICE. Do not use Pimlico Plumbers. Unprofessional service. Extremely poor customer service. Massively over priced. Failed to carry out repair properly and left toilet completely broken. Requested urgent fixing of the problem. No apology just tried to charge even more money then didn’t even bother to turn up to fix it. Phone service was rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. No explanation for failures just made excuses. I would never use Pimlico Plumbers again. Not professional. Not recommended.”

“I am delighted with the unvented cylinder that David and Nick installed on Thursday. No more rattling from an old upstairs water tank. Site was viewed on Tuesday - bottom of old boiler - 18 years old, was sporadically leaking water on floor. A reasonable quote was given, then job professionally delivered without fuss. Thank you Pimlico.”
“Had a plumber from Pimlico come and service the boiler. Although the boiler was fine we were missing an authentic part for the flue. what was disappointing due to our location and the time he completed the job. He could have gone quite easily and got the spare parts as we have a number of local merchants to hand. But this was not the case. boiler switched off and a recall placed for the next day. Not the type of service we would expect from pimlico. As every other tradesman we have had here have been very good and we are paying for the prompt service. Also the quote provided was huge. clearly either taking the mickey or not clued up on what the job would cost. We had no option but to get the plumber in the next day. AS we had no hot water.”
“Beware! Very smooth customer service when you phone to book. The pattern is then a catastrophe scenario where attending plumber blasts you with a list of things wrong with the boiler, quotes some exhorbitant fee to fix , but “ can’t guarantee “ it will solve the issues, and the punchline is, the only guarantee to solve is to replace the whole boiler at an even more exhorbitant fee. It’s a well rehearsed patter. AVOID at all costs!”
“I would not recommend this company to anyone, behind their attractive front is a cleverly designed rip-off scheme. They would quote low (don't forget to calculate VAT). Next, you will be convinced to pay a booking fee and then their engineer would ambush you with an exorbitant bill on arrival. Beware. Avoid this one. There are better options in the market. Be always clear about the final price you will have to pay.”
“Darren Mannering came at a moments notice to fix my leaking toilet. It was a very tricky job as it is a old toilet and difficult to get tools behind. He nipped out and got the spare parts and did an excellent job, cleanly and efficiently. Superb service.”

“Excellent service. We had a blocked drain in early evening with backed up water dripping through the floor into the room below. A local company told me they could get someone out within 90 minutes but rang me over an hour later to say they had no one on call. Your office took the call and guaranteed someone would be here by 1100 pm. I got a call at 930 pm to say he was on the way. He arrived 15 minutes later. Cherry, polite and, most importantly competent he solved the problem within 40 minutes. Just what we want by way of service.”
“Your plumber (Michael Hall) spotted a problem with damaged stopcocks on a previous visit. It was easy to arrange a return appointment at short notice, to fit in with other commitments, and the issue was resolved promptly. He worked very quickly and tidily, with minimal disruption, and I am, as always, delighted with Pimlico Plumbers service. As a bonus, it also cost considerably less than I had expected.”
