Prompt delivery the recipient was very happy but did not know who had sent because the card or our names were not included

Hi Nita, thank you for giving us a review. I am sorry there wasn't a card included with your names on. We only include details of senders if you choose to add this to a gift note on your shopping cart page and one wasn't added with your order. Bought an item as a birthday gift for a friend but the note was not included in the package so she didn’t know who it was from. This was not ideal since there was a section on the website that I filled out in order for a message to be included

Items were well received but they arrived five days after the selected delivery date. Why allow you to select when they are delivered if it doesn’t happen?

Thank you for your review and i am sorry your gift was so late. We do let dates be selected as the majority of gifts are arriving the day after we send them. A warning is given when you select the date as follows: 'Given the current situation, we recommend sending your gift out as soon as possible. If you don't want your order delivered right away, choose a date below and we will ship the item one working day before.'. I am sorry if you didn't see this warning. I hope the recipient liked the gift even though it was late. Best wishes, Liza

Contents were risky and what I’d call acquired taste. Dark chocolate which not many people like and my partner did not eat. The idea behind the brand was great and had lovely wrap I will add but I feel a milk chocolate would be less risky. Picasso magnets- very specific taste I feel and they also didn’t appeal to my partner. The meteorite chip was a hit though. Contents priced up online at £16. I feel £23.95 Including postage was steep for what you actually receive. The paper wrap inside was pretty but feminine.

Hi Louise, Thank you for your review. I am sorry you were disappointed with the mystery box. We try hard to make the contents appeal to everyone that buys them and that is difficult. The idea of using milk chocolate rather than dark is a good idea, thank you! I think you must have made a mistake when adding the prices of the contents. The individual contents were priced online at £27.44 together and with postage that comes to £31.39 for a £20 mystery gift box (plus postage). I hope that at least the surprise was worth it! If you have any preferences if you order a mystery box next time just let us know in the notes section and we will try to accommodate them as much as we can. best wishes, Liza

Would have given it 5 stars but friend I sent it didn’t know who it was from despite me writing a get well message when I ordered!!! She did love it. After a week I asked if she had received it?

I sent this gift to an old friend and was surprised not to hear from her to say thankyou. It was so out of character that yesterday I asked if she had received anything. She had received the present but there was nothing to indicate where it had come from. Very disappointing. Wendy Jackson

Dear Wendy, Thank you for your review! There was no gift note added to your order so we didn't add anything to say who the gift was from. We do not add gift notes automatically as some people are sending items anonymously and some are not sending them directly to recipients. best wishes, Liza

The gifts were apparently lovely but they arrived without the message I supplied which was really disappointing so my friends didn’t know who they were from. It’s a shame I prob won’t use them again for this reason

The gift arrived and was great - but the gift card and message were not enclosed. So my friend had no idea who the gift was from and I had no idea whether she had received it or not!

Unfortunately the gift I ordered arrived a week late. The company were very prompt in responding to enquiries about this, but were in the hands of the Royal Mail so could do nothing about it. If you are ordering, I'd make sure you add an extra 5-6 working days to your chosen delivery day!

Hi Peter, thank you for your review! We sent your order out the morning after the order was placed - I am sorry it hasn't arrived yet. The Royal Mail staffing shortages have caused delays in some areas and then we have just had a four day holiday. I am emailing this to you as well so we can see what to do next as I was confused that you said you hadn't received an email from us (all emails go out automatically when orders are placed and shipped using the email used when you placed the order). Very easy website with a reasonable choice of merchandise. Only issue was the reciptant did not receive the message I added to the gift box.

Please make sure you check the message you write is still on the order when it comes to payment.In small writing says that if you leave without checking the message Might not be on there. That’s what apparently happened to mine even though I did check it. So disappointed that my Grandchildren didn’t get to read who the gift was from. Completely spoilt the surprise. Was told there was nothing they could do about it.

Ordered as a late gift. I understand it's not the company's fault but the package was left in a safe place. The recipient was not informed so did get the gift on the day of was ordered for. The gift was only found it by accident. I'm not sure why it was not put through the postbox

The gifts were lovely, however I set a delivery date for my friends birthday and it arrived way too early! I also included a note and she said that didn’t arrive. Good gifts and nice packaging but didn’t do what I selected.

Hi Amber, Thank you for your review and I am glad you liked the gifts. There wasn't a gift note or date added to your order so we sent it straight away. We never put any information in the gifts letting the recipients know who they are from unless this is given in the gift note added when you check out.

Tracking should be available! I sent a couple of emails requesting information on the status of my order and, to date, they are unanswered!

Thank you for your review. We always reply to emails, usually within a couple of hours if they are written during working hours. You sent us one email on Friday afternoon and then, less than 2 hours later (before we had a chance to reply), you sent another one saying the following: 'Sorry, please ignore previous emails. I had to ask my daughter and she received the order' We therefore did as asked and didn't reply. I am sorry you had to ask your daughter, we cannot track everything as it defeats the purpose of having the letterbox delivery. We do have a tracked option for gifts leaving the UK. I am glad the gift made it and I hope your daughter liked her gift! Best wishes, Liza

Whilst all the contents of the box were lovely and good quality, the card was missing! Which then involved a few awkward text messages from the receiver trying to establish who had sent it and then from myself a little put out as if had no acknowledgement!

The box didn't contain a leaflet as advertised on the side of the box. Also the coin was out by a year. I did send a email but no reply. It's a nice idea but wouldn't have bought if it had been in a shop.
