“A bit disappointed in the time this took to arrive. I ordered the chocolate box as a mother’s day gift on 25/03/19 and my mother didn’t receive it until 02/04/19 Two days after Mothering Sunday!”

Hi Daniel, I am sorry you are disappointed with your order. We sent it out first thing on the 26th (the morning after you ordered) but as your gift was going to France the delivery you chose (and the timing was stated when you chose it) is 3 to 5 working days and your gift arrived at the end of the estimate given t you. This is the fastest delivery possible so we couldn't have got your gift there any faster. I apologise if this wasn't clearer when you ordered and chose the delivery option. Best wishes, Liza

“The product itself was apparently absolutely wonderful. The reason I can't give it a higher rating is twofold. Firstly the date I selected for delivery wasn't accomplished, can you please make it unable to select the date if you cannot achieve delivery on it. So my friends birthday was missed. Secondly despite writing a message for the gift card, this was not delivered with the gift. So the receiver had no idea who it was from.”

Hi Ari, Thank you for your review. I am glad you liked the gifts and am sorry you are disappointed in the service you received. We didn't print a gift card for you as none was added when you ordered from us. We do not put who the gift was from on a gift note unless requested by the sender (or written by them on the gift note when checking out). I am sorry your gift didn't arrive on the selected day - we rely on the Royal Mail for our deliveries and they tend to be far more accurate than most delivery services out there but sometimes they let us down, often due to reasons out of their control. “The items were cute but I bought certain collections for certain people and it did not say everything ie food collection, the luxury mystery gift etc would be delivered in one box.. there is no way of telling which gifts are with which collection as they are wrapped so it caused confusion. I would use again but I'm not sure how often as it is expensive to have confusion detract from the giving. mystery boxes should most definitely be sent on their own. I really didnt think the luxury mystery I bought included enough surprises. Sorry, the concept is beautiful but gifts dubious. Last comment.. adult ladybird books.. I was very disapointed to find the mindfulness book I gifted was a sarcastic p**s take. 😲”

“Postboxed provided an alternative to the usual flowers that are delivered by post. I was disappointed however that there was no notification of when my order would be delivered, or confirmation that it was ever delivered at all.”

“I had ordered a mothers day gift from postboxed for my mother, and the wrong item arrived for her. It was very disappointing, and she was a little confused as to why I bought her a reusable carrier bag for a mothers day present! Customer service was very helpful when I contacted them, replying on a Sunday and explaining the mix-up in my order. I was told to keep the items delivered as an apology, and given the option of having the box I ordered sent or getting a refund (went with the refund as mothers day had already passed). I think I'll stick to flowers next year and would not use postboxed again, but I appreciate that they did everything in their power to make things right.”

“My friend loved her gift - but it arrived late and missed her birthday - asked for delivery for a Friday - arrived on the following Monday - appreciate it may be down to the recent weather - but ordered over 2 weeks ahead.”

“The item was as described and was well received by the person I gifted it to. However, it arrived a day earlier than it should have. While this usually wouldn't be a huge problem, I had specifically requested postage for Valentines Day and it arrived a day early, spoiling the surprise a bit. Was also a little shocked by the very expensive postage for such a small item. Probably won't use again.”

“Nicely packaged mystery box for my husband's birthday. Lovely quality socks and cool pen. But the haggis and clove chocolate was truly outrageously awful! Certainly not a gift! Who thought that was tasty? More a joke? Also had no idea what the Matchbox with stars and more chocolate was for. So less nasty chocolate and more quality interesting gifts next time!”

“Nice choice of gifts and personalised tagging. However, I requested the gift be sent directly to the recipient, and she told me that it was poorly wrapped, and slid out of the wrapping very easily. One of the main reason I chose Postboxed was the personalised gift-wrapping, so that I could send a gift even though I am overseas, and so her review was disappointing.”

“I was quite excited to receive my mystery box I ordered it for a friends birthday. Was really impressed as it arrived and was able to fit through the letterbox a bonus as not in during the day. The box was wrapped nicely and each individual item wrapped l decide to sneek a peek and put the items into a gift bag, this is where disappointment set in, the items a block of chocolate -Great, a notepad and pen from Kodak not so sure and then an assortment of chilli powders- not suitable for my friend at all but I accept I brought a mystery box and so next time will purchase a specific box”

“I really like the range of products you offer as you can find something a bit different which is nice. I also didn't have to worry about my friend's birthday present being left on the door step. However, the reason I have given a rating of acceptable is because the parcel arrived a day late. I specifically asked for it to be delivered on the 06/10/17, which was my friend's birthday. It unfortunately arrived the next day.”

“The selection of gifts was really lovely and I loved having the peace of mind that the person I was sending the gift to wouldn't have to rush about going to collection offices if they weren't in for the parcel. They loved the gift, and commented on the beautiful wrapping. My biggest niggle, is that the date for delivery was requested, but the parcel wasn't dispatched until a day after the requested delivery date.”
