"After much research and review reading I pulled the trigger on the Power Block Elite EXP\r\n\r\nVery easy to transition between weights (esp. like the \u201cadder weights\u201d for the incremental changes!),\r\nand the design with the flat ends makes it so much better to be able to rest these on your thighs for bench presses etc.!\r\nI was curious if the \u201ccaged\u201d grip would be an issue, but I actually find it really helpful, as for some exercises I can kinda\u2019 rest my wrist on the pad to aid in stability.\r\n\r\nBuild quality is great and the mag pin locking\/weight adjustment \"fork\" is secure and keeps the weights very tight with almost no shifting at any angle. Just make sure you\u2019ve got the pins lined up correctly on the slots for the weight, slide & lock in (you'll get a subtle \"click\" from the magnets) and you\u2019re good to go!\r\n\r\nI also got the compact stand from Power Block and it\u2019s a great addition. It really helps with not having to make adjustments to the weights on the floor but at a good sturdy working height so you can rack\/change lbs.\/adder weights, and un-rack easily.\r\n\r\nLooking forward to be able to add the expansion kits as I progress!"

"Love these things, can't wait to upgrade them to 100 lbs \r\n\r\nI wish they came standard with the 32mm handles. I'll probably buy those eventually, the 38mm challenge the grip strength more which has its benefits but oo lord sometimes I wish they were easier to hold."

"My wife and I have the 24 set, the 50 pound set, and now the 100 pro. Powerblock is the way to go. With a gym full of equipment, our dumbbells still do that heavy lifting in terms of usage. The 100\u2019s need a heavier duty rack."

"Perfect, for now. My wife and I are getting back into fitness. After a 10 year break, we knew she'd have to start small but knew that would grow fast. Adjustable was the way to go. \r\n\r\nWe studied. Considered all reputable brands up front then started knocking them down with the knit picking. At the end of the day, landed at PowerBlocks.\r\n\r\nI was afraid these would be too small for my hands. She was afraid they'd be too big for her to work with. After watching some of the videos on the site, we figured it out. Neither would be a problem. My shoe is bigger than a dumbbell so they're perfect for her and there's room for slop in my grip when I want to keep it loose.\r\n\r\nThese things are built though too. Though I'll be grabbing a heavier set soon, these will be our go to for light work for a long time."
