“I have original the classic 60lb PowerBlock set that I purchased in 1999. I needed the pin set replaced because one of the original ones I accidentally broke. To my surprise, the replacement set that is now available for this older set are much better than my original ones. I appreciate how they upgraded them even though this is over 25 years old and still in excellent shape!”

“I've made several purchases from Powerblock. I started off with Just the 50lb USA Elite set about 12 years ago. Ordered the expansion set to 70lbs then the expansion set to 90. Ordered a stand then a Curl bar over the years. Now the kettlebell attachment. The shipping has always been quick and accurate. I've even ordered replacement stickers at no additional cost and received them in a few short days. Im proud to own them. I frequently show them off and tell people to get a set.”

“Originally bought a Powerblock EXP 50# six months ago, but with no extra frills in case I didn't like them. I also thought 50# would be plenty. Turns out I've used them every day since, save for a couple week's vacation, and I've increased my strength to where I need more weight, and that's just a few minutes (literally) of lifting every morning. Just received my Powerblock EXP 70# expansion and a stand. I had sent a picture of one of my selector forks to illustrate a little wear, hoping to purchase a replacement (wasn't listed/avail on the website - probably because this set is discontinued). Pleasantly surprised to receive a free replacement pair of forks along with the other items that I paid for, all well-packaged and quickly shipped. Great service! The stand is good-as/better than expected. Plenty sturdy (even on my tight-weave, but squishy carpet), arrived assembled (except for the easily-installed grippy sticker pads) and folds flat & thin (although I don't anticipate having to store or move it). Really appreciate the cut-outs to hold the expansion cylinders that I'd previously just left on the floor. Before initially purchasing the 50# starter, I was skeptical about expanding dumbbells - lots of googling - and was concerned about inconvenience and limited grip space, because I have good-sized hands. However, I love the grips. Great, solid/sturdy/grippy feel and plenty of space to hold the weights without interference. They feel "quality" when I'm holding them. The weights ~are~ big and blocky, but that hasn't been an impediment. I'm delighted to have the equivalent to a whole wall of dumbbells in such a small space, and was pleasantly surprised at the 2.5/5 # incremental cylinders (hadn't noticed those in the reviews). Initially thought I wouldn't bother with them, but they've been great for incrementally increasing the load for weaker areas, like my military or flys, and although it seems like it would be a hassle to install/remove the cylinders or to switch poundage with the forks, those operations are simple, easy, fast, and totally no-brainer during a quick-breather between exercises. I'm not a gym rat, but I've used weight machines, and they're too constrained/isolated and supportive to develop practical "working" strength from actually moving/balancing weight. For the first time in my life I've got a daily (if brief) weight routine that wouldn't happen without the EXPs, and I'm thrilled and a bit dumbfounded (heh, pun, but true), with how quickly I'm increasing my strength. Wish I'd had these decades ago.”
