I am a student doctor, and I purchased treatments in advance amounting to nearly £2000 because of the ' good reviews' that I read. My circumstances changed and I had to go to the US to complete my study. This company refused to give me a refund or even a partial refund because of 'company policy' - a policy that, in my opinion was not made clear to me at the start or else, Alas, me as a student doctor would not have made such a sacrifice. In my opinion, any company who clearly has the interests of their clientele at heart should be able to allow for special circumstances lest be reduced to another money-grabbing institution. I felt robbed and taken for granted as a customer. I felt like a client number rather than a person. No amount of good treatments and services matter if you are not able to feel Like you are respected as an individual. This is merely my personal experience but I hope it cautions someone out there. When I return my patronage will certainly go to another company that does not shock or 'lock- in' clients in this manner. Kind Regards

Received a laser hair removal treatment 3 months ago and the hair is back minus my money. I went to the Shepherds Bush clinic twice and their service was bad to say the least. A waste of money and time. The claim handler was of no help.

Went for a laser hair removal conultation, which went fine as the therapist was nice; a week later and the same therapist changed into something else- she did not even laser the complete area I wanted to be lasered. Changed the therapist for the second session and she turned out to be worse- am not going back there as they treat you like they're paying you and not the other way around! Highly recommend to stay back from the Shepherds Bush clinic- at least for laser hair removal.

I have a scar on the side of my nose thanks to their bodged thread vein removal - I had a large blister after the treatment and was told that was normal!!!

I booked a laser test appointment, I paid a deposit - fir what I bekieved was the treatment itself rather than the test. I got held up at work and called the central number to rearrange. It was then that I was told that I would lose my deposit and have to pay it again as I had not given 24 hours notice. I popped in to the salon twice to speak directly to them - no one around and no facilty to leave a message. I left a note and was called back. She confirmed my deposit was gone- I double checked with her that I was not cancelling but merely rearranging, she was wholly uninterested. I'm Pleased I did not have the full treatment at this clinic as I feel the customer care is indicative of sloppiness. Just a warning ......

Very disappointed with the service, they charged £25 for a consultation for the picosure laser tattoo removal. I got lost on the way and the kept my £25 and wouldn't give me another consultation until I paid another £25... Lady on the phone was patronising. Went down the road to another clinic and they do free consultations for the picosure. Wouldn't not recommend proskin due to the bad customer service and unwillingness to help.

The clinic itself was ok, but the customer service of the this company is an absolute joke and highly un-professional. Having just suffered a serious back injury, I asked if I could use the money I had already paid up front on another treatment. As I could no longer have treatment anywhere near the site of injury. The staff on the phone were EXTREMELY rude, completely unhelpful and clearly lying about consulting with their manager about the situation. Having been put on hold three times, whilst they were apparently speaking to their manager about my situation, when I asked to speak with him directly, conveniently and absolutely ridiculously suddenly he wasn't there and had gone to a meeting that moment!! Complete bunch of jokers, there were clearly making it up as they went along. I have used previous clinics in the past on Harley street, who have been extremely helpful and professional and have gone out of their way to meet my needs, when I decided against one treatment, they let me use the money I had paid towards any other treatment they advertised and provided at their clinic. This company needs to give their staff training. The customer service is appalling and rude. Probably not a good idea to put what sounds like stroppy young teenagers, to be the front of your company.

Watford Branch, She obviously doesn't know what she is doing, Had only one session with the therapist last week and will definitely NOT BE RETURNING. Have asked to speak to the area manager Danielle but she is useless and extremely unprofessional!!

I have just called to book in an appointment for IPL (Marble Arch branch) and it's taken 25 minutes. The girl on the other side of the phone sounded like she was half asleep and did not know what she was doing! How hard is it to book a single appointment?! That's almost half my lunch hour gone now. The website used to allow users to book their own appointments, but that feature has been removed for some odd reason. I think they need to reinstate the online booking feature so as to remove the frustrating process of trying to book your appointment with an untraining receptionist.
