“In regards to the Publix in Belair Plaza in Daytona beach at 2595 N. Atlantic. I left my lights on while I was inside shopping, and when I came out my car was dead. Luckily I had a jump box. Unluckily it was also dead. I noticed that right next to the exit for you. There was a power outlet right next to the seats that were given there for the public. Happy that I had a solution. I went ahead and plugged the device in and then went back to my car to see if I can find a jump. I returned about 20 minutes later and I found that my device had been taken. He told me that I can’t plug things in in the store . Apparently this is how public treats people who just need a little help. Publix ain’t what it used to be, not even close. “I was very disappointed in the Pharmacy, I called to have a prescription refilled and the store at Shoppes of Navarre did not have it in stock, I asked the pharmacy tech to check the other sister stores to see if they had the medication in stock and she refused. I called the Wynnhaven location, which is about 3 miles from this store and they had the medication in stock and refilled my prescription. The customer service at this store has declined tremendously in the last few years. So dissatisfied.”
“Now the is also a follow up from my last review. As I was fired for Domestic Battery. My charges were dropped after Being investigated by the state attorney. PUBLIX still refuses to give me my job back. But PUBLIX also has a manager that Has a domestic battery. And He is a manager he was never fired. That just goes to show that they were firing me over my hurt foot. I have been dealing with my Foot for almost 2 years. And when my wife told Publix that I did not commit a domestic battery on her, they told her she was lying. And then started harassing her. PUBLIX is a very hostile work environment and it starts from the higher-ups. I sat here and told PUBLIX the truth on everything that happened and they want to treat me like I’m a criminal.”
“Publix fire me because I hurt my foot . And was on FLMA. My wife who worked there to. Had a mental break down over the holidays. And I have been helping her because she was a big drinker of alcohol. She feel off the wagon. And started drinking I told her that she needed to get help if she could not stop on her Owen . I got fired even knowing she was also arrested for a DUI and threatening him an officer, which was the felony. I got fired even after my charges were dropped. Her charges stuck and PUBLIX did not fire her. I think they were because I hurt my foot at PUBLIX That’s why they fired me because they started giving me a hard time when I filed for FLMA. I may have gotten arrested, but they were Way a lot of things that the officer was unaware of specially with her mental disability and the fact that she was not on medication. I worked for PUBLIX for seven years had no problems with any managers until Andrew which was a Store new manager. New to our Store. I’ve always had very good evaluation. And they were looking at getting rid of me. So I will continue to keep posting comments until these managers are fired.

Killy Miller HR never came in to talk to me. Just made a decision to fire me. She came in and talked to my wife. My wife keep her job until she resign.
I feel I was discriminated against because of my disability. I was fired because of my sex. And What I was accused of doing. The state of attorney investigated my case and made the decision to drop it because they had no case. They never even file charges against. I tried to tell them that my wife had drinking problem. And Becca, the assistant manager went to my wife and told her I said she was a crazy drunk.
The problem with my wife is she had her surgery and she doesn’t process the alcohol like a normal person does. She has a split personality and she’s bipolar. Not on Medication for either one.
My wife has now Completed all over courses. And is the medication that she needs to be on.
But PUBLIX sees me as the problem. So they want to standby the decision firing me. I was the one trying to get my wife help. If I was not telling the truth. I would not be spending hours at a time writing these reviews. I think PUBLIX was more they would reconsider and bring me back. But they know they messed up. They don’t want to admit it.
My main thing is I want my respect and this is how I am going to get and earn my respect. I will never Stop until PUBLIX gives me a letter of apology.
I still have no job because of my Foot. And to get my foot, but I can’t because of no job no insurance. And I was the guy. I have made complaints with EEOC and other agencies. I have a letter of right to see. But I am not looking at money I want an apology from PUBLIX. And I would like PUBLIX to help me get my foot fixed so I can go to work for someone else. I was going to have a surgery before PUBLIX fired me. And Andrew knew about that so Andrew knew I would be taking more time off of work. That is the reason why I was fired.”

“I got fire because I hurt my foot at work .their manager wouldn’t give me the opportunity to file Workmen’s comp claim. I Recently got fired. I did nothing wrong. My wife, who works at PUBLIX too. She got depressed over the holidays started drinking. I told her that she needed to get help if she can’t stop on her own. I left the house let things cool down and I get charged with a domestic battery. There was no domestic battery because I did not touch her. She told the courts on the road I did not touch her and she told Andrew Becca and Mike that. I did not hear her. My charges were dropped. The state Attorney didn’t even fill charges on me. My case was investigated thoroughly Through the state Attorneys. In the do not charge me with this crime. I was simply trying to get my wife help because she has a drinking problem. She got a DUI. That alone should show you that she has a drink problem. Worked PUBLIX for seven years had no problem. We’re with PUBLIX had good reviews until Andrew got to the store. Andrew had a problem with me because he was supposed to make my wife full-time and never did. That’s the reason why my wife was working in my store. I had my white go to the bakery. Because all Andrew had to do is make her full-time and she would’ve went over to the deli. My wife was not going to work in that busy deli for only $14 hour. This is part of the reason why Andrew wanted me out of the store. He didn’t fire my wife when she got a DUI and threaten law-enforcement. So I feel I have been discriminated against for my sex in the nature of the charge. In my disability because Andrew was fully aware, I had a problem with my foot that I hurt at work and also I was going to be having surgery so I would be taking more time out of work.
