“Working at Publix is definitely NOT a great experience. They hire you for 1 job and will just stick you doing other jobs you didnt sign up for. I got hired for a cashier and had to work in the bakery one night...never worked over there and never been trained to work over there. If you bag, you can be bagging a huge order but then the instacart phone rings and you get pulled away to take that out then a customer SWEARS something was bogo when it was actually buy TWO get 1 free and you have to stop to go check a price then another instacart order then go backs then cleaning and did I forget to mention cart duty?!! Which is a 30 minute rotation of bringing in carts. Then you might have to clean bathrooms or change all the trash cans, meanwhile back in the office the managers watch you on camera and critique your every move. They do however wave bye as they're leaving for the night. Then there's the lovely chores. Cleaning all the registers, sweeping, all while stopping to make sure customers dont have to wait in line. Its frustrating and exhausting. They constantly hire young kids and then all summer they call out because it's a pretty day and they dont want to be stuck at work but won't give the people who have been there their fair share of hours. The managers rotate like revolving doors and they will make you do 5 jobs at once instead of helping. Its like working in a factory with a nice green shirt and an apron.”
“publix does not show the nutrition labels to customers, this seems to be on purpose , because they had a lot of sugar in thei teas, but the one unsweet
I request they turn the bottles to show customers the nutrition labels”

“Just overall Publix has just become a second rate grocery store. Every time I enter to do weekly shopping, UGH!!!! Produce not fresh and on and on.
Sprouts is my go to now. Yes few more dollars, but quality counts.”
“My husband' favorite Publix brand yogurt (pineapple) was removed from the shelf. I've been waiting for 2 weeks, thinking it was just sold out, but to my amazement it was discontinued, just like a lot of my favorites. The strawberry publix yogurt no longer contains strawberrys, just a red coloring to imitate the color of a red strawberry. What a shame. I could go on and on about your discontinued merchandise. But it wouldn't do any good. You shrink the products and then raise the prices. That's why I shop with Walmart. Although they have raised their prices also. But not as high as Publix.”
“The Mango Sunrise Chantilly cake doesn't have any mango slices in it. It still tastes delicious but no mango; I should have asked before I purchased it. 08/02/25”
“The prices are absolutely ridiculous! WHY do they have to be so high? ..
I guess to pay for all the staff, sometimes you can't go down and aisle for all the store employees,WAY TOO MANY! If you shop there on a regular basis, you must be very rich !”
“I cane to Publix last week and had an issue with issuing the u card and ebt. They said use your EBT first then your card. So I'm at Publix I used EBT card then my u card. Turned it down so had to put my groceries back.”
“First of all I love Publix. Best market in Florida. We always loved the deli's fried chicken. The last 2 times we bought it something has changed, horrible. We will never buy it again.”
“The Manager Mike is the type of Manager every company should have!!!
The Manager Mike, at
8160 Wiles Rd
Coral Springs FL 33067
was so awesome with a situation I had, and he immediately took care of it like a professional manager should.”
“My English isn't very good (I'm Dixlexic), an employee at the Deli offended me by rudely saying that she didn't understand what I wanted. I imagine that people from ALL over the world live or are passing through South Florida. It's not fair that this employee represents Publix.”
“Publix is a great food market. They have quality foods, and I am sorry that this site only rates the store as a whole. Packaging remains a problem with hard to open containers and packages. I just bought Publix Reduced Fat Cobly Jack Cheese Sticks. It states easy to open. IT IS NOT! I have to use a scissors to open each one.”
“I would not recommend Publix to any consumer that wants to be treated fairly! I went to get Miracle Whip. The 30 ounce jar was 8.57 and the 15 ounce jar was 6.09. Although this seemed really high, I purchased it thinking that maybe this is the norm since I'm not in the Green Acres, Wellington Fla area consistently. I also had to go to Walmart for some other things, and just so happened to see a 30oz Miracle Whip jar on an end cap. The price was $3.87. What!?! Almost $5 difference! 😡Publix is committing robbery! This is stealing from those who trust and frequent your stores. One would go to jail for being a thief in normal circumstances! I was terribly disappointed!”
