Publix has become a rip off, where shopping is a pleasure, not with those prices, pogo's mark up is an insult, thanks former competition I very seldom stop shop there, customer service, terrible. Be wise when spending your money, for me a get more bang to the buck by going to Trader Joe's, Aldi and Walmart.

Publix has already begun to increase prices and probably using excuse of the tariffs. Certain products I buy ALL the time have risen as much as $3-$4 in one week. Seniors simply cannot afford the GREED of Publix; they lost me as a customer even though the store is directly across the street from where I live.

Don’t usually buy meat at Publix, but gave it a try, what a mistake. T bone steak on sale 9.99 lb it was like shoe leather. I get much better meat at Winn Dixie

I’ve been a loyal and usually a satisfied customer of Publix for 40 years. This past week I experienced something that was totally out of sorts- 8pm on a Wednesday, went to the deli to purchase sliced meat and cheese only to be told the deli was closed due to not enough staff. The young lady was very apologetic. I don’t blame her for the situation but I do wonder when corporate is going to solve the repeated issues with the Deli departments. From reading these reviews, the Deli seems to be a continuous common frustration for shoppers everywhere. 🫤

Customer service, timing and ability to answer questions was impressively bad. I was provided incorrect information on dispensing laws, which is easily found on the state board of pharmacy site. I waited 2 hours to pick up after a prescription was called in, and then waited another 45 minutes after I arrived to pick the prescription up. I finally left when it still wasn’t ready after 45 minutes. It’s a non prescription item.

Publix is a selfish company. Very selfish. They have no values. Awful people.

I been to 2 different Publix in 1 week and ordered the ultimate sub notice that they are making them with less meat cut much thinner than usual. Second store I ask if they were cutting down on the meat. He told it did look a Lil skimpy and added some meat. But I notice another employee ask if I complained about the amount of meet. Publix if you cutting down on the meet you need to lower price I will be keeping an eye on my sandwich...

Twice in one week I tried to make a purchase at the service desk at the Corkscrew Commons store in Estero Florida. Twice in that week's time I was ignored by service desk workers who stood around having a laugh and chatting with one another. They didn't even acknowledge my presence. I left. This store continues to disappoint; I've shopped there for more than 15 years. My tip: if you need help, don't count on it.

Writing about the Subs they make. Italian in particular. Since when does HAM go into an Italian sub. The answer is never. I have travelled extensively and seriously enjoy Italian subs. But Prosciutto is the meat that is used, not ham. Ham is a cheap addon

I shop at Publix in Ramblewood Square. Well, not anymore. I’ve had my last bad interaction with them. They have the rudest employees and the food is always expired. What is happening at this store, which is new, that a majority of the employees have a bad attitude? Is anyone monitoring the management team or is it because you need employees desperately? From the customer service desk to the deli, to the meat team. Just an awful experience every time!

I'm a frequent costumer from Publix in my area in Deerfield Mall ,Deerfield Beach Florida for over 4 years. I truly love Publix ❤️ however this past Saturday March 20,2025 I bought a fried Chicken 🍗 🐔 it is very tasty and crispy already packed, surprisingly the Chicken tights was uncooked with blood. I think the kichen manager needs to be aware of that and make sure all fried chicken needs to be fully cooked before putting for sale. I have to throw out the chicken tights.

the meat at publix supermarkets is about the worst i've ever had. I'm from the northeast and used to get fresh and tasty beef. The stuff they call "steak" and "beef" is horrible. Don't know if it will be any better, but I'm at least going to try Winn-dixie ... it truly can't be any worse. They must buy from the cheapest suppliers they can find

Another fail by the worst Deli manager at any publix. Runs out of 2 types of breads for subs at 5 o'clock. A good manager would not have that happen. Btw if it was my first experience with her deli I'd be more forgiving. But after 6,7,8 etc times I'm tired of her incompetence

I’ve been a loyal customer of Publix for quite some time, but I feel compelled to share my disappointment regarding a recent policy change. They have decided to charge over $1 per pound for cutting up chicken into small pieces—something that has always been a complimentary service at their competitor. This new fee feels unnecessary and frustrating, especially considering that Publix Supermarket is already known for its higher prices across the board. Adding an additional cost for a service that used to be free makes shopping here less appealing. Many customers rely on this service, especially when purchasing larger quantities of meat, and this change just adds to the overall expense of shopping at Publix. It’s disheartening to see a supermarket prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. I hope they reconsider this decision, as it may drive loyal shoppers like me to seek alternatives where we can find better value and service.

Today at the Publix at Verandah, a store employe, Charlie, stocking in chip aisle helped me and my sister find multiple items through out the store by aisle number. Charlie was very helpful and pleasant. He even knew where to find hot honey in the store.

More than 30 minutes on the deli subs line. Is not only one time, it has been the last 4 times I came in two weeks. Publix needs to improve the speed. Plenty of people just getting tired and leaving the line because of the ridiculous wait time for a sub!
