“I am so pleased with the Pure Lakes hand balm, it feels so soft and refreshing on my skin, especially as we are washing our hands so frequently at the moment, it helps to maintain softness. I have the grapefruit and lemongrass scent which is simply gorgeous. I'll be ordering more when I run out.”

“I discovered your products whilst visiting the Lake District in 2020 & instantly fell in love with the Lemongrass & Grapefruit hand wash. This inspired me to look at other products and have since purchased both of your hydrating face creams. I bought both products as your website stipulated both were suitable for normal to dry skin however upon receipt the packaging stated the Geranium & Lavender one was for normal skin, had I known this I wouldn’t have purchased it.”

“I discovered the fabulous Lemongrass & Grapefruit hand lotion from the ‘freebies’ at Langdale Hotel & have ordered it for myself at home ever since. It really is the best hand cream I’ve ever used - soaks in well & isn’t greasy. Long lasting effects.”

“I first found Pure Lakes toiletries at Battlesteads Inn, Northumberland and they were so lovely, environmentally friendly and made here that I just had to buy some for myself. I bought the calendula hand balm for my daughter as she is a professional gardener so I'm not able to comment on it.”

“Your Neroli, Rosehip and Frankincense Facial Hydration Cream has been a revelation. In the recent cold weather, it has made my skin so much more comfortable without feeling at all greasy. I have bought your products for years now. One of the people I regularly gift items to has told me how kind you were in helping her daughter cope with skin that was upset by spending hours and hours swathed in PPE as she cared for patients in Intensive Care. “Discovered Pure Lakes products in a Lake District hotel years ago. I’ve been using the Pure Lakes geranium and ylang ylang shampoo ever after-it’s the only shampoo that doesn’t irritate my scalp. And I’ve tried a lot of other shampoos -commercial and handmade.”
