“other than I had to drill holes to install in my 1988 Dodge W250, this has so far been a good radiator, and at a price that is about a third that of an OEM part.
At less than a week, it's too early to give more than 3 stars, however so far I am pleased with it.”
“3 stars
Plus: price was right, well packaged, free shipping, fast shipping, it doesn't leak, the tabs at the bottom located the radiator onto the body of my van perfectly, although it is an aluminum core replacing a copper core my engine runs just as cool as ever, lifetime warranty.
Minus: It didn't fit the mounting holes on my truck - I had to grind 1/16th inch on each radiator hole to widen them. My fan shroud mounting bolts didn't fit the radiator - had to get deeper throated U-clip nuts to make it fit. I had to drill out the overflow stem - I suppose this was to make the radiator more versatile, for those who don't have an overflow receptacle. I don't like the drain plug and it seems to be not replaceable with one that I could attach a hose to.
But the bottom line is that time will tell how long it lasts. I'm optimistic. In the meantime, I could have paid twice as much for a copper core radiator. So far I got my money's worth.”
