“Great speedy service from Rapid, products were what was expected. UK MAIL courier service prevented this from being perfect, spent 1.5hrs trying to get through to them to reorganise a missed delivery. Called back to Rapid to help, was reorganised right away. Will use again!!”

“I'm generally pleased with your service. However, I have noticed recently that you have been discontinuing quite a few electronic components, or changing the minimum order quantities to 1000 or more. The MOQ problem is odd because someitemes in for example your range of toneluck push switches you can buy in smaller quantities but others (the 4 pole) you have to buy 1000. This has caused me lots of problems. Otherwise I like your company.”

“Excellent product range, superb service and, unlike another commercial vendor with an "R" in the name, if you have problems it is possible to contact a real person to sort it out. Customer service is a big, big plus factor with me. The downside: using UKMail for a carrier is a big mistake, they are slow and unreliable and will only deliver to our remote (ish) location when it suits them. Royal Mail are reliable and allow Rapid Electronics to live up to their name - UKMail turn the company into Tortoise Electronics!”

“As an electronics hobbyist, Rapid is my main supplier. Orders are always processed and despatched promptly. The range is generally good, but if I need slightly more unusual items, I have to use RS instead despite their poor customer service. My one gripe with Rapid is that more and more items seem to be on back order, again causing me to look elsewhere.”

“Prices are reasonable, not a bad range of electrical and electronic plus fastening hardware - I usually try Rapid first as RS prices and MOQ's are now rather OTT - unless you have to go there for that special part. Generally next day delivery also works well with small parts through the letterbox, so if out and parts delivered to home they will still get to you without delays.”

“I don't normally write any reviews, my experience with Rapid has been almost 100% perfect. The company has a good turn round time...the orders are dispatched quickly and apart from a small problem I had with my first order, which was dealt with imediately over the telephone. Up to date I have been happy to use Rapid for some of my electronic components needs. Overall a good company to deal with. Mike Rapid don't always have the items I want,”

“Great company, great prices and great service. Search engine could do with improving, as could the category selection. Only real niggle is that the datasheets for the parts aren't always there and when parts are discontinued or changed (that you've previously bought) it would be nice to be emailed a change note and a link to the new PDF.”

“First time I have used them. Web site easy to use and delivery of goods was very quick. Only down side is the minimum post & packing charge which is a bit expensive - their charge without the VAT is the same as many other places charge with VAT included Keith”

“Generally cheaper than RS and Farnell, although a more limited range. Delivery takes a couple of days rather than next day, but if you're prepared to wait they're worth it.”
