“The initial unit (Weather Station) was faulty ( a manufacturing fault) and I contacted the customer services team who responded in very quick time. After confirming that the unit was faulty a replacement was sent out immediately and received the next day. Well done for such excellent customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.”

“Rapid offer polite customer service, and as the name suggests, are pretty rapid. Slightly better prices than some competitors. They could do with adding some wiring diagrams for some non electronics types like my self, for example for there Red/Green vandle proof push buttons, or at least a better explenation of the function to aid purchases. Overall a happy customer.”

“It was not clear enough online that the traffic light system purchased needed to be put together prior to being able to use it. No instructions were sent with it and so I had to email to find out where to find these. When I finally did, the whole thing was so complex that I ended up twisting a wire and rendering it unusable. In addition, you sent me someone else's confidential invoice, which you then asked me to send back in order to get my own! Overall a very negative experience and not one I would want to repeat. “Rapid have a wide range of competitively priced components, tools and hardware. Provided you know what you want, everything goes well. Their technical advice is awful, so don't ask for help with choosing parts for a particular application. Stock levels are generally good. Most are ex stock from the Colchester office. Certain items (mainly automotive related) are a couple of days from other UK warehouses. Other parts tend to be about a week from Conrad Germany.”

“Rapid by name... rapid by nature. Prices seem good too. Only wish they stocked more 74LSXXX IC chips as my other source takes a couple of weeks to deliver. Website is easy to navigate and you can save your basket for later and for quick reordering. Happy shopper :D”
